The pregnant Jessa Duggar doesn’t have to go far for advice when it comes to carrying her first child – or children – with her husband Ben Seewald. The 19 Kids and Counting star’s sister Jill Dillard (formerly Jill Duggar), is not only a student midwife, but has just become a parent for the first time. Jill, 23, “has all the knowledge and training,” Jessa, 22, says. After welcoming her first son Israel David with husband Derick, 26, on April 6 after a 70-hour labor , Jill certainly has a wealth of information to pass on. “I am not comparing, not worrying about what could happen, just getting prepared,” says Jessa, the third Duggar daughter after Jill and Jana Duggar . “Every birth story is unique,” she tells People . “We think we want to go with a midwife and we want to have a home birth, but I just want to be prepared that not everything may go as planned.” Jill certainly taught her that lesson, big time. Jessa says she’s going to “try not to get too worried about it” even as she plans for a range of possibilities. Now into her second trimester, the mom-to-be – who may or may not be expecting twins with Ben Seewald – is grateful morning sickness has waned. “I thought I’d crave pickles and lemons because my mother did, but I couldn’t stand them. And one day I suddenly couldn’t do dairy,” says Jessa. “I would sit and bed and eat crackers, hoping the nausea would pass,” she adds, tough fortunately, Ben was there, “waiting on me hand and foot.” Those Duggars pick good ones. Empire is officially taking over the television universe. And taking a bite out of the music world while at it. In news first broken by E!, cast members Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray (who portray Jamal and Hakeem, respectively) will take to the stage at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards . In front of millions of viewers, they’ll sing a medley of the Fox drama’s biggest hits, including “Conqueror” and “You’re So Beautiful.” But that’s not all! British singer Estelle, who guest-starred on Empire Season 1 as Delphine, will join the actors for at least one number. “There’s no way I could possibly love music more than I already do. The Billboard Music Awards have been the epitome of celebrating some of the best of the best in music,” Smollett said in a statement, adding: “To be included as a performer on this year’s celebration is a huge honor.” Gray chimed in with: “I’m still living in a dream – the success of Empire and now getting the honor to perform at the Billboard Music Awards. It’s truly a blessing.” Empire was a rating juggernaut for Fox this spring, actually increasing in viewership each week for NINE straight weeks to open its run. Florida Woman Filmed Herself Being Raped By Parole Officer A parole officer in South Florida was fired and later arrested last week after a woman who was serving probation accused him of raping her, and provided video evidence of one of the alleged rapes. Yes, she filmed her own rape… Via News Mic reports: WSVN reports that the accused parole officer, 50-year-old former Florida Department of Corrections employee Zachary Thomas Bailey, assaulted the woman twice after using his authority to force his way into her home. In the first encounter, she accused Bailey of blocking her in her bedroom and touching her genitals. In the second, the woman says he raped her. “The victim said she recorded the [second] incident on her phone not only so police would believe her, but so Bailey would not be able to write a false parole violation against her for reporting the rape,” WSVN reported. “This is someone who is hired to protect you, hired to say, ‘Hey, protect the society,’ and you don’t expect your probation officer to be acting in this manner,” Coral Springs Police Lt. Joe McCue told WSVN. “The victim said, ‘This is rape. This is rape. I don’t want you to do this.’ Unfortunately, she was in fear that if she reported this, he would violate her probation and put her back in jail.” According to records examined by the Sun Sentinel, Bailey has no prior arrests and had at least four prior recognitions in 1997, 1999 and 2002, including two for “‘outstanding efforts’ regarding contact standards.” Lock this sicko up for life and film someone taking his cookies in prison!
