WATCH: ‘Monsters University’ Trailer Suggests ‘Lincoln’ Isn’t The Only Movie About A Team Of Rivals

Personally, I’d rather see a Monsters, Inc.   sequel rather than a prequel.  I even have a story in mind: The up-to-no-good WolfsBain Capital does a leveraged buyout of Monsters, Inc., Sulley is fired as CEO, and the new management enlists Mike Wazowski and the rest of the employees to kidnap children and bring them back to Monstropolis so they can be used as cheap labor.  Instead, Disney and Pixar have put together a much lighter Monsters-Inc. -meets- Animal-House precursor tale , called Monsters University , that, unlike my idea, might actually sell some tickets.  The big news:  Sulley and Mike Wazowski didn’t start out as friends, so without giving much more about the plot away, Disney establishes the narrative arc that Monsters University will take — unless this turns into a trilogy and the original film falls last in the sequence. Christina Ricci Gushes Over Robert Pattinson

He reminded me of my best friend’s little brothers growing up. He’s just a silly, fun guy; we laughed a lot. He makes fun of himself all the time; he’s adorable.” Christina Ricci on Robert Pattinson Watch Ricci give Pattinson mad props in the video above and check out a still of the actor in Bel Ami HERE . Did Lindsay Lohan Accuser Break the Law By Revealing Privileged Information

Dawn Holland was already fired by the Betty Ford Center for talking about her melee with Lindsay Lohan to the media. Might criminal charges be next? She is accused of selling documents and an interview about her fight with Lindsay to celebrity gossip site TMZ for at least $10,000 before she got fired. For most people, this would be shady behavior, but legally a non-issue. The fact that she’s a health care worker could land her in big trouble, though. The cash-for-comment scandal could be considered a violation of HIPAA laws and lead to criminal probes into both Dawn Holland and TMZ. In an (unpaid) interview with Radar Online , Holland said she had not yet decided whether she would legally challenge her sudden dismissal. “I’m not quite sure [what my next step is]… I’m working on that,” she said. As for what TMZ paid her? “I’m not going to say (how much).” Asked if “it was somewhere between $10,000 and $15,000,” she “If I give you a ballpark then… well, then… yeah (it was between that).” In a statement released Tuesday, Betty Ford said: “Regrettably, on December 21, one of our employees violated strict confidentiality guidelines and laws by publicly identifying patients in a media interview and by disclosing a privileged document.” “The employee has been terminated by the Betty Ford Center.” Holland was fired in the aftermath of the confrontation with Lohan, who returned to her sober house after her curfew back on December 12. The two parties’ accounts of what transpired differ greatly, but it’s clear that the altercation was physical and that the police were notified. TMZ said Holland spoke “because the story was already out there, Lindsay was publicly trashing her and Betty Ford did not have her back.” It will be interesting to see how this plays out in terms of the battery allegation against Lindsay and the accusations against Holland. As the Lohan Saga Turns …

Obama proposes two-year freeze in federal worker’s pay

Money to keep the fake war on terror going in the Middle East, but no money to patch up the deficit. *** President Obama today proposed a a two-year freeze in civilian federal worker pay for calendar year 2011-2012. “I did not reach this decision easily,” Obama said from the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, “This is not just a line-item on a federal ledger. These are people's lives.” The freeze is expected to save $2 billion for the fiscal year 2011 and will save $28 billion when you combine the savings from this year’s freeze, and the second year freeze 2012 across the next 5 years. It is expected to save $60 billion in total over the next 10 years. “The hard truth is that getting this deficit under control is going to require some broad sacrifice,” Obama said, “and that sacrifice must be shared by the employees of the federal government.” added by: maasanova
