Emily B. Says Since She Let Fab Go “A Whole New World Opened Up” For Her

Emily Bustamante aka Emily B. aka Fab’s “Baby Mama” aka the chick he wouldn’t claim after 8 years together spent most of the first season of “Love & Hip-Hop” in tears over his a$$. The new season of “Love & Hip-Hop” kicks off tonight and we’re hopeful she’s got drier eyes this time around. In the meantime, Crème Magazine has relaunched a new section called THE VIP LIST where celebrities, icons and personalities share their world in their own words. Contributors like Danny Simmons, CNN Correspondent Ryan Mack, Mike B and many others will be joined by a few ladies from Love & Hip Hop. Over the course of season 2 they have a few surprise contributors from the show. First up, is Emily Bustamante who opens up about Faboluous and her healing: On Healing, One Step At A Time I always say that I’m not the best person for advice. Don’t ask me! [laughs] It really feels good to have women come up to me and say, “I watch your story, and I could relate to you so much. I was going through the same thing.” And these are regular women and their men have regular jobs. They weren’t even in this world of hip hop. And that was so powerful to me, because I was like wow, my story is actually impacting other people’s lives. My thing is, if I can do it, anybody can do it. Because I just thought that my life couldn’t exist without him. He was my everything. And I realized that once I let him go, you know, so many other things– great things– came to me. A whole new world opened up for me. And both of us changed from it. So sometimes you have to make some changes in your life. To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. And that’s what I had to do, and it was for the better. My life is so different now, and I’m happy. It’s just been a great journey, and hopefully someone else can learn from my mistakes. I have my moments. And I can sit here and say, I do still love him. My love for him didn’t change. But I love me more. And I love my children more. And I know that I have to focus on that. Love doesn’t go away, but sometimes you just have to let it go. And it just made a lot of things around me much stronger. I focused on my career. When you’re in a relationship sometimes and you’re going through it, you kind of forget about everything else that needs to happen in your life. I just focused on my clothing line. And that’s my man [laughs]. You know, that’s my baby. And I put all my energy into that. And really, just having a goal, or maybe a hobby, or just focusing on something else, really helped me. My clothing line is definitely something that keeps me busy, and it keeps my thoughts on that. Because [healing] is definitely a long process, and it takes a lot of work. And if your mind ain’t right, there’s no way in the world that you can accomplish something like that. So, I had to get my mind right. Writing is another passion of mine. I empty my thoughts in my writing, and it’s usually about love [laughs]. Sounds like a whole lot of truth there. Change is hard but some changes are necessary in order to grow. It seems like Emily B. has grown a whole lot, but at the end of the day only time will tell if this change is permanent or just temporary. Cuz we all know how open she is off that guy riiiiight? Keep reading to find out how she explained her breakup with Fab to her daughter.

Another Bad Debate For Perry (UPDATED)

Pure Comedy: 50 Cent, Floyd Mayweather, And Mike Tyson Star In “The Hangover” Inspired SK Energy Shot Commercial

If you haven’t heard by now, Curtis is pushing a new product nowadays, SK Energy Drink, and the new commercial is hilarious! Fiddy might not make good songs anymore , but that damn sure doesn’t mean he isn’t entertaining! All jokes aside, what 50 is doing with this energy drink is commendable. After spending most of his career picking fights and instigating, Curtis has finally attached himself to a cause to do some good. As both a massively successful artist and a survivor of a harsh childhood, 50 Cent found himself compelled to use his success to help others in need. A trip to the World Cup in Africa opened his eyes to rampant poverty and hunger across the continent. Back home, 50 and his trusted manager Chris Lighty began brainstorming ways he could help kids born with the odds stacked against them. They immediately thought of Chris Clarke, the entrepreneur behind Pure Growth Partners. PGP’s revolutionary mission is to find and create sustainable brands using a “one for one” give-back component to donate directly to the world’s most effective charities. Together, they conceived a product that perfectly fit 50′s driven persona and their mutual desire to make a difference: the Street King energy shot. Street King provides focus and energy, two qualities 50 credits with being crucial to his success. And every single bottle of Street King purchased will furnish a meal for an impoverished child. Providing his fans worldwide with positive energy – while helping children get the nutrition they need – is just the kind of powerful impact 50 has been longing to make. Now Street King Energy Shots are here to turbo-charge your drive to succeed at whatever you do. And you’ll not only feel good, you’ll feel good about yourself, too. She also recently teased to MTV News that she’s gearing up to release her second single, “Who’s That Boy.” “We’re in the middle of getting the treatment and things put together,” Lovato said of her next music video. “So hopefully we’ll be shooting that soon.” In fact, Lovato said that she’s excited to try her hand at any number of projects that should come her way. “I’m looking forward to kind of just finding out what’s next. Willow Smith, Nicki Minaj Ignite ‘Fireball’

Young ‘Whip My Hair’ singer’s new single premieres on Hot 97. By James Dinh Willow Smith Photo: Vittorio Zunino Celotto/ Getty Images It’s been over a year since Willow Smith ‘s “Whip My Hair” takeover, and since then, the 10-year-old rising pop darling has released follow-up single “21st Century Girl” and has been steadily working on her Roc Nation debut album. On Wednesday (October 5), Smith dropped a Nicki Minaj-assisted party single, “Fireball,” to appease her growing fanbase. Offering world-premiere duties to New York Hot 97 DJ Angie Martinez’s afternoon radio show, “Fireball” is a drum-heavy party tune, where the young starlet gets feisty, shows her swagger and proclaims herself the center of attention. “See, I never been the one to toot my own horn/ Beep beep, now watch me put it on/ I set fire everywhere I play/ Make them all go insane, L.A. to U.K.,” Smith sings with confidence. She keeps the energy going by delivering a simple hook when she repeatedly boasts, “I’m the fireball of the party/ I’m the fire” atop a layer of chants. Minaj chimes in about two minutes into the song, sharing bragging rights with Smith, offering her usual rapping eccentrics and even name-dropping the singer’s famous parents. “Put you under my wing, I’m the top boss/ Ain’t from Louisiana, but I’m hot sauce/ Cop the mountain, just to go and build a house off so I ain’t never got to worry what the house cost,” the MC spits. Artwork for the song, which has been posted on the singer’s Facebook page, depicts the singer’s signature nameplate inside an orange-lit fireball. On Monday, Smith teased fans about the single’s debut via Twitter , writing, “My new single is coming soon, really soon, like maybe tomorrow soon:) #FIREBALL:)” MTV News recently chatted with “Whip My Hair” producer Ronald “Jukebox” Jackson , who revealed that the pop starlet is close to finishing her full-length debut album. “I did like eight, nine songs on Willow, so right now, we’re in the process of just trying to close out the album,” he said. “It’s just the whole process. You got to think about it: She’s a 10-year-old girl. She’s gotta have a life; she’s gotta be a kid.” Share your review of “Fireball” in the comments below! Related Artists Willow Smith Nicki Minaj

Mark Wahlberg Talks ‘Fighter’ Sequel, Wahlburgers

He also reveals that Catherine Zeta-Jones just signed on to join him and Russell Crowe in ‘Broken City.’ By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Mark Wahlberg Mark Wahlberg was in the giving spirit at the Emmys this weekend, kicking MTV News a bunch of news about his upcoming projects — everything from a burger-based reality show to who he’ll be sharing the screen with on his next flick to who will be putting pen to paper for his planned “Fighter” sequel. This fall, Wahlberg is headed to New York to shoot “Broken City,” a noir drama in which he’ll play a private detective hired by the mayor (Russell Crowe) to investigate whether his wife is cheating on him. “I think Catherine Zeta-Jones just signed on to be Russell’s wife,” Wahlberg told us. A call to the production company behind the project was not immediately returned. Also on the movie tip, Wahlberg gave us an update about his “Fighter” sequel . Previously, David O. Russell, who helmed the Oscar-winning first film but didn’t pen the script, had told us he was looking to write the sequel. But Wahlberg let us know the original screenwriter will likely get the first crack at drafting the sequel, which will focus on Micky Ward’s three bouts with Arturo Gatti from 2002 to 2003. “We’re hoping that Scott Silver, who really wrote the first one, will come on, write the script,” the actor said. “This one we’d try to make a more commercial movie about the three big fights. Dramatically, there’s a lot more at stake for Micky because [after] he won the title, people automatically thought — he’s still living in Lowell [Massachusetts] — they thought all of a sudden he was rich. He made a couple thousand dollars for that fight when he won the title. And that’s when things got really difficult for him.” And, about those hamburgers, Wahlberg told us that not only is he deadly, deliciously serious about opening a patty joint with his brothers called Wahlburgers , but they’re also planning to shoot an Internet-based reality show about the effort. “Listen, when I told the story that I wanted to do a show about a movie star and his five friends running around Hollywood, everybody said it was the dumbest idea in the world,” Wahlberg said of his “Entourage” success. “My brother is a five-star chef. So it’s a family-run business. You’re going to see us doing a reality show about building the business. This is the real deal. We’ll throw it up there and see if it sticks.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Broken City.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Guns N’ Roses To Launch First U.S. Tour In Five Years

Trek kicks off October 28 in Orlando, Florida, and will feature more than 30 shows. By James Montgomery Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose Photo: Jeff Kravitz/ FilmMagic Having spent the past two years touring everywhere but the United States (except for that one time they played at a motorcycle rally in South Dakota ), Guns N’ Roses will finally bring their show to our shores, with a run of arena gigs set to kick off in late October. The tour — which launches October 28 at the Amway Center in Orlando and features more than 30 dates — is GN’R’s first run of U.S. shows in more than five years. That also means it’s the first time they’ve hit the road here since the 2008 release of their Chinese Democracy album . In addition to that Orlando show, the list of confirmed U.S. shows, according to the band’s publicist, are: October 29 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami; October 31 at the Bi-Lo Center Arena in Greenville, South Carolina; November 2 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta; November 5 at the Gexa Energy Pavillion in Dallas; November 12 at the Sprint Center Arena in Kansas City, Missouri; November 13 at the Target Center in Minneapolis; and November 19 at the Comcast Theater in Hartford, Connecticut. Guns N’ Roses will also hit Omaha, Nebraska; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Chicago; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; Worcester, Massachusetts; Camden, New Jersey; Detroit; Cincinnati; Nashville, Tennessee; Indianapolis; and Denver, though dates and venues for those shows have yet to be announced. The latest incarnation of GN’R features (of course) mastermind Axl Rose, plus guitarists DJ Ashba, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, longtime keyboardist Dizzy Reed (and another keyboardist, Chris Pitman) and drummer Frank Ferrer. The band hasn’t played a show since a December 2010 date in Dubai, but will warm up for their U.S. run as only they can: with a series of massive dates in South America and Mexico. Ticket pre-sales for some of the upcoming shows kick off this week. The band has been posting information about the shows on their Facebook page . Meanwhile, their official site remains largely un-updated since 2009, and Axl Rose has yet to mention the tour over on his Twitter account (though he would like you to learn more about a cat named Dijon). Taiwanese actress Ariel Lin

Taiwanese actress Ariel Lin will quit TV to concentrate on movies due to the unconducive work environment, reports aiyatheydidn’t.livejournal.com, quoting a post from her official website. Lin, who only returned to work in March after removing a pituitary cyst in her brain in 2009, explained that working 12-18 hours daily drains her energy, both mentally and physically. She reveals that “by the end of the day, I only had time to wipe off my makeup, bathe and read the script before I conked out”
