LeBron James Engagement Ring: Not Small!

Quick, what’s the difference between LeBron James and Savannah Brinson? She got a ring before he did!!! Jokes about LeBron’s lack of championships aside, we’re very happy for the long-time couple, who has been dating since high school and who has two kids together. They got engaged on New Year’s Eve and, as you can see below, the Heat superstar didn’t skimp on the ring: The platinum and diamond rock features a seven-carat pear-shaped center diamond and classically tapered baguette sides. It was presented to Brinson Saturday night, following a dinner at the Shelborne hotel in South Beach. James and the Heat suffered their first loss of the season last night, but remain the strong favorites to take home the 2012 NBA title.

Steven Tyler: Engaged to Erin Brady (Confirmed)!

Steven Tyler is, in fact, engaged to Erin Brady . The American Idol judge proposed with a ring made by jewelry designer Loree Rodkin, according to new reports, confirming rumors from earlier in the week. “Having made Steven’s jewelry for so many of the past years it was an honor to be part of his future… with all my love to Steven and Erin,” Rodkin told Us . Tyler has been a fan of Rodkin’s work for many years. Steven Tyler and Erin Brady have been together five years . Rumors of the engagement started circulating when the American Idol judge and his 38-year-old girlfriend were snapped in Hawaii with Brady flashing the rock. On Wednesday Tyler’s rep had “no comment” when asked whether the 63-year-old was tying the knot for the third time. But it’s 99.9% confirmed at this stage. Kelly Clarkson Endorses Ron Paul, Twitter War Erupts

Original American Idol Kelly Clarkson made a surprise endorsement in the 2012 Republican presidential race last night, throwing her support behind Ron Paul. This did not go over well with some fans. “I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance,” she wrote of the candidate. “If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he’s got my vote. Too bad he probably won’t.” Many of Clarkson’s 925,000 followers took issue with her support for the Texan, citing the alleged racism and homophobia of Paul’s old newsletters . “That’s because you willfully ignoring his voting record, his statements, interviews, newsletters, and policy positions,” one follower Tweeted at her. “You are obviously living under a rock. I don’t even live in the United States and hear about his stupidity,” Tweeted another fan from abroad. Clarkson tried to maintain calm, responding:

Will Britney Spears Have Another Baby?

That didn’t take long. Britney Spears and Jason Trawick got engaged this month, for real, after over a year of rumors that they would do so. Everybody is really happy for them (maybe not Jason Alexander , but everyone else it feels like). That said, some celebrity gossip publications have already moved onto the next round of rumors: When will they have a baby together!? The two have not set a date yet that we know of, and don’t appear to be in a rush with things, which is probably smart. The same likely applies to having children. Britney already has two sons, Sean Preston (6) and Jayden James (5), with her former spouse K-Fed. That may be enough to handle for herself and Jason Trawick . One thing we hope is that with her tour finally over with, she takes the time to relax and enjoy her engagement. Family first – whether it’s a growing one or not. What do you think? Will she have another baby? Should she?

Get The Pre-Nup Ready! Michael Jordan Pops The Question To His Boo Thang

We wonder if people are going to have to wait in line to get to the wedding. MJ has a lot to celebrate these days. The NBA season has started, which means more money for his Bobcats franchise. His shoes are flying off the racks. And he just proposed to his longtime girlfriend Yvette Prieto while taking a Christmas vacation out to Monaco. We bet he slid her the engagement ring on top of a stack of prenuptial papers There’s no way Jordan is going to same route he went with Juanita. If that woman leaves him she probably won’t even be able to cut the line to get some Jordans next Christmas. Anyway, congrats to the soon-to-be-Jordans.

Lawsuits: Evelyn Lozada Being Sued For Allegedly Receiving A Gang Of Illegal Money While Engaged To Antoine Walker

Hmmmmm…. Via TMZ: Evelyn Lozada — one of the stars of “Basketball Wives” who was once engaged to former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker — is being sued for allegedly receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars illegally. The story is shocking. Walker raked in a whopping $110 million during his NBA career, in addition to untold millions in endorsements and other deals … and he blew ALL OF IT and a lot more. Walker filed for bankruptcy last year, and now the bankruptcy trustee smells a rat. It seems Walker gave Lozada $560,000 when he already knew he was going belly up. The trustee has sued Lozada, claiming the transfer was fraudulent — an attempt to hide money from legitimate creditors. The trustee says Lozada used the money to start a Miami shoe store called Dulce, and now the trustee wants the $560k back. We’re told Lozada and Walker insist there was no funny business. He gave her the money to help pay her bills. Sources say Lozada funded Dulce NOT with the $560k, but by selling her engagement ring. And, our sources say, Lozada had no idea Walker was so deep in debt. We’re pretty sure Evelyn let Antoine spend major guap on her, but they can’t blame her for him running through $110 MILLION!!!! $110 MILLION???? SMH.
