Kanye West Dragged By Unlikely Foe After Tweeting Plans To “Abolish The 13th Amendment”

Source: Ivan Nikolov/WENN Kanye West is in danger of being canceled forever after he went on a pro-Trump rant this past Sunday. In the clip, you can hear some folks in the audience cheering, but many others boo’ed. On top of that foolishness , the “I Thought About Killing You” rapper also hit Twitter with a photo of his MAGA hat, declaring it a symbol of good things. What’s hilarious is, even wypipo are annoyed at this point. Along with the photo, ‘Ye tweeted: “This represents good and America becoming whole again.  We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs.  We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love.” Now you know, when Captain America curses you TF out , something is really wrong. Chris Evans retweeted ‘Ye with a message that has since gone viral. “There’s nothing more maddening than debating someone who doesn’t know history, doesn’t read books, and frames their myopia as virtue,” Evans wrote. The level of unapologetic conjecture I’ve encountered lately isn’t just frustrating, it’s retrogressive, unprecedented and absolutely terrifying.” What he basically said was “F*ck you, Yeezus.” Apparently what Kanye West meant to say was this: not abolish but. let’s amend the 13th amendment We apply everyone’s opinions to our platform — ye (@kanyewest) September 30, 2018 Check out all the receipts below and ‘Ye fans, let us know if you plan to ride with your fave ’til the wheels fall off or nah? LeBron James Makes Preseason Debut As A Los Angeles Laker [Video]

See the article here:

Source: Harry How / Getty We have a feeling the purple and gold will be represented well by LeBron James . His first game as a Los Angeles Laker was a success. On Sunday, September 30 Los Angeles squared off against Denver in their preseason opener at the Staples Center. From the beginning of the game ‘Bron made it clear he wants prime billing on The Lake Show. As ESPN noted his first official contribution to the team came in the form of a no-look assist bounce pass to Brandon Ingram which led to a slam dunk. James’ first points were also in superstar fashion as he sank a three-pointer from 26 feet away. He finished the night with nine points, three assists, and three rebounds. The three-time champion took to Instagram to commemorate his first outing on the new team. “Can’t even front, it’s just felt different! Goosebumps!  #striveforgreatness   #thekidfromakron “. He went on to detail his excitement in a post-game interview. “It always feels different for me anytime you change uniforms,” he explained. “It felt different when I changed from a St. Vincent-St. Mary jersey to a Cavs jersey, from a Cavs jersey to a Heat jersey, back to a Cavs jersey and now being a Laker. So, it definitely feels different, and it’ll take a little bit of time getting used to.” The Lakers play their first official game of the 2018-2019 NBA season on October 18 against the Portland Trailblazers. Their opener is at The Staples Center on Oct. 20 against the Houston Rockets. — Photo: Getty

‘LHHHS5’ Recap: Girls Trip Drama Runs Nikki Away From London Early

Read the original here:

Source: Jesse Grant / Getty Tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood picks back up with Bridget’s London interview fallout. Bridget is trying to calm Teairra down but she doesn’t want to be bothered. Bridget confronts Brooke about bogarting her interview in the first place and Brooke offers Bridget a disingenuous apology but she really could care less . Nikki jumps in defending Brooke, and tells Bridget to hire a better PR team. No one really seems to care that what Brooke did was trash. However, they still move past it. Teairra Mari comes out of the room to join them but then she and Moniece get into it. Moniece tells her to go back to rehab and… That riles TT up too. Plus, she’s also mad because Moniece didn’t tell her that her friend hooked up with Akbar. This conversation happens in front of the other girls so they add their input (that no one asked for), which only annoys Moniece even more and makes her feel ganged up on. We all knew this trip was going to be drama though. Back in Hollywood, A1 and Lyrica try to force their mothers to get on the same page for the sake of their impending child. So, they got them a beach house for the weekend and force their moms to be roommates while they stay at a beach house down the street. It already doesn’t start off well because we already know these moms’ beef is on sight. They immediately start roasting each other as soon as they see each other. Hold that thought. Back in London, the ladies try to keep it classy by going to an English High Tea and learn how to drink it with the pinky up, but you know how well these ladies and class go together. These bird brains start playing a game of “Never Have Ever” and Brooke asks Nikki if it’s true that she slept with Solo Lucci. Nikki says she didn’t and is pissed off that this rumor is even out there. Then Moniece jumps in and calls Brooke out on her endless messiness, especially because she or someone in general usually pulls this type of stuff when they’re in settings under the pretense of unity. It’s always uncalled for but then again, there’d be no show if they didn’t work so hard. Back at the beach house, Lyrica G initiates a surprisingly talk with Pam. There is some back and forth at first. It’s the usual, your son did this, your daughter did that, but they eventually manage to get on the same page and even go kick it on the beach! But don’t hold your breath. More on this in a second. Now we’re back in London at Bridget’s show. Brooke performs new music and reconnects with her fans across the pond. La’Britney opens for her and that part goes well. The ladies kick it after the show and Nikki decides to leave them and go back home. She’s tight from the high tea drama and the general drama and would just rather be with her family in LA. At least she knows they’re not going to gang up on her. The episode winds down with the aunties (Lyrica G and Pam) back on the beach. Things go downhill swiftly when Pam mentions she wants to get a DNA test. Lyrica G gets offended and says this is a low blow, especially since she was supposed to have moved past this. Pam says she just needs assurance, which makes sense because A1 and Lyrica were separated for a couple of weeks, talking about getting a divorce and these rumors swirling are heavy. But Lyrica G ain’t trying to hear that so she rides for her daughter. Eventually, they start bickering back and forth, you know how they do, and then Pam tries to swing on Lyrica G and all hell breaks loose. That good Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood security keeps them from putting the paws on each other but it doesn’t matter. They get right back to calling each other all kinds of b—hes and h–s and this beef is back to on sight status. #SquatForChange: This Dad’s Viral Pic Sparked Celebrity Support For Baby Changing Tables In Men’s Restrooms

Read more here:

Source: Plume Creative / Getty The nuances of fatherhood can get lost in a world that tends to champion mothers as the sole caretakers of kids. One Florida man is on a mission to change this, thanks to a viral picture that’s getting some major attention. Donte Palmer , a father of three, was out eating with his family at Texas Roadhouse one Saturday when he had to change his 1-year-old son’s diaper. However, like many men’s restrooms, Palmer could not find a changing table for his son. “The argument is that they don’t exist,” Palmer said in a phone chat with Global Grind . “But they do exist in some areas, but we need more of them.” With no changing table, Palmer was forced to get creative. He assumed a squatting position while stretching his kid across his lap so he could change their diaper. Palmer’s 12-year-old son Isaiah, who he calls his diaper assistant, accompanied his dad to the restroom and while Donte was in the process of changing the diaper, Isaiah snapped a pic.   When they returned to their table, the whole family had a good laugh about the picture. Two weeks later, Palmer realized the funny moment could be used for a great cause. “It dawned on me, you know what, that is a powerful picture. Why don’t we have changing tables?” Palmer uploaded the pic his son took to Instagram with the hashtag #SquatForChange and he tagged The Shade Room.  Once they reposted , Palmer received love from all over. The post gained over 500,000 likes and people like D.L. Hughley , T.I. , and Tyrese voiced their support for Palmer and the need for changing tables in men’s restrooms. “Y’all already know where I’m at with it all…..None of this is fair towards fathers,” Tyrese said in the comment section for The Shade Room. Other fathers on social media have even joined in on the #SquatForChange movement, posting pictures of themselves changing their kids’ diapers in the squatting position.   Now that Palmer has people’s attention, he plans to continue advocating for fathers with a non-profit called 3 Boys 1 Goal. According to their GoFundMe page, the org will have a “two-prong approach focused on researching and navigating state policies that directly impact fathers and their functioning as such, as well as creating a safe haven to provide resources and support to underprivileged young Black fathers that will directly impact their children.” Palmer — who also serves as a high school teacher — says he’s in the middle of fleshing out the specifics for the non-profit with friends, but he has high hopes. “One thing we don’t want to do is downgrade the title and the roles of a mom because moms are superheroes,” Palmer said. “But the thing we want to do is show that men are here, we do exist, and we want to be highlighted in those areas and to just make fathers better.”

Lil Pump Cancels His Harvard Dropout Tour Dates, Might Have To Do A Bid

Source: YouTube / Youtube This past Saturday night Lil Pump and Kanye West turned in a struggle performance for the ages when they were the musical guests on Saturday Night Live, and now the “Molly” rapper is reportedly canceling his upcoming Harvard Dropout Tour thanks to a probation violation. According to Complex , the tour dates for Pump’s highly anticipated 15-show tour have been scrapped from Live Nation ‘s website. A rep for Pump told Complex that “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Lil Pump’s Harvard Dropout Tour has been canceled. Refunds will be provided at point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience.” We probably should’ve seen this coming as just a few weeks ago the “Gucci Gang” rapper took to IG to tell his fans that he was going to “do a couple of months” in the bing being that his arrest in Miami violated his probation in Los Angeles. Coast to coast consequences, B. We have to admit that he doesn’t seem phased by the pending prison stint he’s set to serve. Other rappers have begged judges to spare them from sentencing them to an unwanted iron vacation. Check out Pump’s previous announcement below. — Photo: WENN

Black College Football Week 5: High Cotton

Prairie View A&M defeated Grambling State 22-16 in the 93 rd State Fair Classic at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas Saturday night, signaling that a changing of the guard in the SWAC Western Division could be at hand. The Panthers (3-3, 2-0 SWAC) led from wire to wire en route to ending the two-time defending SWAC champion G-Men’s 26-game conference winning streak and beating them for the first time since 2013. Prairie View won even though Grambling (1-3, 1-1 SWAC) held the Panthers’ two most explosive weapons in check relatively well. Quarterback Jalen Morton completed 23 of 34 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 62 more yards. But that was a sub-par performance for him compared to the 511 yards – which included a school record 255-yard rushing effort – and six touchdowns that he accounted for last week. Running back Dewonya Tucker, the leading rusher in all of Division I football, ran the ball 19 times for 72 yards. The Panthers compensated for their offensive unit’s lack of fireworks with a stifling defensive effort. They held the G-Men without a touchdown until the fourth quarter; they harassed Grambling quarterbacks the entire time, registering 10 sacks with defensive end Willie Green accounting for three, and they held the G-Men to 42 rushing yards on 32 attempts. Grambling had 278 yards total offense and only averaged 3.3 yards a play. Grambling’s only points through the first three quarters came on a safety when the G-Men tackled Tucker in the end zone for a one-yard loss and a safety late in the second quarter. Prairie View led 15-2 at the half on the strength of Morton’s first-quarter touchdown passes of 38-yards to Markcus Hardy and 80 yards to Tucker and Zach Elder’ s 43-yard field goal in the second quarter. The Panthers’ final points came on four-yard touchdown pass from Morton to Zarian Holcomb in the third quarter. Backup quarterback Geremy Hickbottom breathed life into Grambling’s offense when he entered the game in the fourth quarter. Hickbottom led the G-Men to a pair of touchdowns, and they recovered an onside kick following their second touchdown. But Panthers cornerback quashed their comeback hopes when cornerback Ju’Anthony Parke r came up with an interception with 1:42 remaining to seal the win. KEY RESULTS North Carolina A&T State 31, South Carolina State 16 – The Aggies regained their mojo after having their 15 game winning streak snapped in Week 4 with a home MEAC victory Thursday night. It wasn’t easy though. North Carolina A&T (3-1, 1-0 MEAC) had to overcome a 16-3 first half deficit – reeling off 28 unanswered points after starting the game in sloppy fashion. The Aggies pounded South Carolina State into submission with their running game. They generated 208 of their 311 rushing yards in the second half.   Running backs Marquell Cartwright and Jah-Maine Martin combined to hammer the winless Bulldogs (0-4, 0-1 MEAC) for 249 yards. Cartwright, the leading rusher in the MEAC with 456 yards, topped the 100-yard mark for the second time in three games with 157 yards. Martin chipped in with 92. Martin got the Aggies’ offense in gear with a 40-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter that cut South Carolina State’s lead to 16-10 at the half. Quarterback Lamar Raynard brought the passing game to the party in the second half with three touchdown passes. Raynard ended the game with 253 yards through the air while improving his record to 29-1 as the Aggies’ starter. Morehouse 23, Kentucky State 21 – The Maroon Tigers used some second half magic for the second consecutive week as they came from behind to claim a road win that keeps them unbeaten. Morehouse (5-0, 1-0)) rallied from a 14-0 first-quarter deficit against Kentucky State (0-5, 0-2 SAIC) after coming from behind to beat Miles 23-21 on the final play a week ago. The Maroon Tigers’ 5-0 record gives them their best start since 2010 when they reached the Division II playoffs. Quarterback Jules St. Ge staked the Thorobreds to a 14-0 lead with touchdown passes of four and 24 yards to Demetrius Anderson and Jordan Level, respectively. Morehouse chipped away at the lead. Santo Dunn scored on a seven-yard run that capped an 18-play, 80-yard drive that took 8 minutes, 41 seconds off the clock. Fernando Sdelamora booted a 36-yard field goal to make the score 14-10 at the half. The Maroon Tigers went ahead 16-10 in the third quarter when Dunn scored his second touchdown on a one-yard run, and they extended the lead to 23-14 on quarterback Michael Sims’ 15-yard touchdown pass to tight end Ryan Edwards. The Thorbreds made the game interesting when Malik Saunders scored on a seven-yard touchdown run with 4:32 remaining in the game. Alcorn State 20, Southern 3 – The Braves were unwelcome guests as they spoiled the Jaguars’ Homecoming by defeating their SWAC rivals for the third consecutive year. Alcorn (3-2, 2-0 SWAC) won the contest in workmanlike fashion. They held Southern (2-3, 1-1 SWAC) to 139 total yards – 63 rushing and 76 passing – while pounding the Jaguars with a running game that produced 243 yards as four difference ball carriers gaining at least 50 yards. Quarterback Noah Johnson led Alcorn runners with 81 yards. Alcorn got a pair of field goals from Corey McCullough, a one-yard touchdown run by De’Shawn Waller and a 36-yard interception return for a touchdown by Qwynterrrio Cole for its points. Southern avoided being shutout when M Fontenot kicked a 28-yard field goal in the third quarter.   OTHER RESULTS MEAC Bethune-Cookman 35, Savannah State 20 Florida A&M 55, North Carolina Central 14 Norfolk State 54, Delaware State 28 SWAC Alabama A&M 21, Jackson State 16 Florida International 55, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 9   CIAA   Bowie State 20, Winston-Salem State 17 Elizabeth City State 24, Saint Augustine’s 17 Fayetteville State, 40, Chowan 38 Johnson C. ‘Insecure’ Recap: Nathan Ghosted Because He Literally Can’t Talk About His Feelings

See more here:

Source: Josh Blanchard / FilmMagic/FilmMagic for HBO Season 3 of Insecure went by super fast! It’s hard to believe that tonight’s episode is the season finale, but it is. Tonight’s episode is a lot about introspection, which is perfect since Issa’s 30th birthday is coming up! Molly has a surprise that her girl will love. Meanwhile, Lawrence meets up with his father and talks about life, including Issa. He tells his father that all the women he has been dealing with since Issa have been too demanding and that dating for him hasn’t been easy like his and his mom’s relationship. His pops is just looking at him like… It’s a naive perspective. That point is driven home when Papa Lawrence lets him know that he and Mama Lawrence have been through some ish. “Your mom and I had matching luggage!” Welp. In other news, Issa has put her block party planning on hold because getting it together has been harder than she thought. Molly got co-lead on a major case at work. Taurean is the other lead, but Molly was shady in how she got the case in the first place (she undercut him). That is going to prompt major introspection on her part later on. Now it’s Issa day! Molly goes to pick her girl up for a day of fun and bumps into Nathan. Yes, Nathan. He has some flowers thinking he’s about to make amends but Molly shuts him down. Apparently, he has been ghost for a month and Molly tells him to go away because he’s not about to mess up Issa’s birthday. He does as he’s told for now. Molly’s surprise is taking Issa to a blackbuster night in the park. They’re watching The Last Dragon , one of Issa’s favorite movies. Lawrence came out too because it’s also one of his favorite movies. That becomes clear when they bump into each other and say lines from one of their favorite scenes. Lawrence then joins his boys, Chad and Mike ,and learns that Chad’s fiancee took him back, even after the cheating scandal. Lawrence is shocked but Chad said he had to do a lot of begging but he wasn’t trying to “do this couple shit all over again.” Plus, it’s how love works (in his mind). You see where this is going, right? Lawrence and Issa are probably not getting back together (anytime soon), but you can tell that Lawrence is reconsidering a lot of things in terms of how relationships can work. He even heads back to Issa’s blanket with her favorite snack just to wish her a happy birthday and their vibe is super cool. Issa also gets to talk to the founder of the blackbuster night, a woman she also met at Tiffany’s baby shower who obviously has similar interests. She even confirms that event planning for the love and with no real budget is no joke and inspires Issa to try to get the block party poppin’ again. Issa and Molly take it back to Issa’s place for a slumber party. Then Molly tells Issa that she ran Nathan away because she didn’t want any drama on her 30th and of course Issa is pissed because she would have rather handled that herself. Then Issa says Molly has a habit of throwing people away and being negative and that she assumes the worst in everyone. This even shows up at work. Molly assumed that Taurean was coming for her neck and canceled him out when it came to competition. Molly just sees it as this is how she has to be to get what she wants but Issa says what is she going to do at work when everyone hates her, “Because this isn’t her. This has never been her.” Then we cut to Molly at work. Molly learns that Taurean has joined another case since Molly is capable of handling it on her own. But it feels weird, and we get the sting is when she sees Taurean meet up with two other co-workers to actually work together on another case. They offer a begrudging, “Congratulations,” and look at her like… You can tell they feel some type of way, not about Molly having ambition. It’s more about Molly allowing that ambition to steamroll and isolate people. This prompts her to do some introspection and she even calls Andrew, #AsianBae, to apologize for being a jerk and she actually shows some vulnerability. We finally see Molly with her mask off. Issa links with the organizer of the blackbuster night and she has all types of knowledge about how to find partners and make the block party happen. it looks like the beginning of a nice partnership and even friendship but then in another scene, we see that same friend meet up with Lawrence for drinks. He met her at the baby shower too and this is looking like a date. That’s going to make things really awkward. Finally, Nathan meets up with Issa to apologize, talmbout he went back to Houston because he was dealing with a lot of stuff. He doesn’t know how to explain what this stuff is but he gets really down and negative and he can’t talk to people sometimes and he didn’t want to put her through that. Issa translates it to, “You ghosted me and left LA because you were in a bad mood?” But what it really seems like is that Nathan may be dealing with depression and doesn’t know how or is ashamed to communicate that. He does seem to genuinely be contrite and offers an apology. Issa expresses that she needs some time to think about some things and figure out what she wants, so she goes in her house, puts some finishing touches on her apartment and lives her best life alone. Nathan will be back though. He claims that he’s here now and hopes they can talk. They’ll talk again, but we’ll have to wait a year before we see what comes of their relationship…or lack thereof.
