Both Sean and YG issued an apology to Kaep, revealing that they knew nothing about the omission. Even EA Sports issued a statement soon after, claiming that removing Colin’s name was a mistake. Source: Getty Images / Getty YG is gearing up for the release of his highly-anticipated album Stay Dangerous , but that doesn’t mean that the Bompton native doesn’t have a little time to give back to his community. Ahead of his upcoming release, Mr. 400 made a sizable donation to help young women interested in coding have a competitive edge in the rising industry. On Wednesday, the rapper donated $150,000 to start-up company Girl Code LA, which works to develop more opportunities for female coders. TMZ caught up with YG during the ceremony to learn more about his charitable donation. “I’m ’bout to go give this big check away to Girl Code,” he said. “I got a daughter. I’m practicing on how to be a good dad right now. This for the G Code.” Founded by entrepreneur Dez White , Girl Code LA aims to help young women build knowledge in computer science, business and software engineering. Participants also can develop career road maps through seminars, classes and hands-on training. His good deed wasn’t only about his monetary donation, though, YG also held a mentoring session with the young coders, where he discussed the importance of exploring nontraditional career paths. He also reportedly gifted all the young coders with Beats By Dre headphones. Shoutout to YG for the generosity!

Bronsolino gave us a look at his very first tattoo, which was his daughter’s name on his chest–also revealing that he didn’t go crazy with the rest of his tattoos until four or five years ago. The rapper also showed off one of his newest pieces, which is an enormous piece on the back of his skull. The man has never claimed to be subtle. One of Action’s favorites? Barry Bonds’ MLB stats from his famous 2011 season. According to the F**k, That’s Delicious host, the numbers motivate him. “It’s just in remembrance of me always having to be a beast,” he said.

The Atlanta rapper was shot at Street Execs studio after an altercation with a former friend erupted into gunfire. Fresh later died at a local hospital, with the friend—fellow ATL rapper No Plug—claiming he shot Fresh in self-defense. Today we celebrate his life with a few happier memories. Top offered a progress report for fans on Tuesday in response to one supporter quipping about Quincy’s previous tweets. Back in September of 2017, the “Blank Face” rapper tweeted, “I said once my album 90% done I was going back 2 da gym…. well I’m back!!!” The Top Dawg-in-chief called last fall’s proclamation to be “fake news,” and when he was asked about the “real news,” he replied, “90 to 95 % done.” So….we’re getting somewhere. Last week EA Sports unveiled the game’s hip-hop fueled soundtrack , and today we get the first ad for the game, and it features some big names. Nothing screams its Madden season more than the games over the top commercials that are never short on star power. Madden NFL’15 featured the hilarious Kevin Hart and Dave Franco to help get the masses hyped for the unofficial start of football season. This year the folks at EA take it to another level with the latest spot which features Lil Dicky, Saturday Night Live’s Chris Redd, Nicki Minaj , Quavo who also alongside his two friends penned the official song for the game, Philadelphia 76er’s all-star center and NBA Live’19 cover boy Joel Embiid and the Houston Texans DeAndre Hopkins. In the 3:37 commercial, Redd tells the story of Will, and his legendary play call the won him an extremely close game. The grand tale features Minaj revealing she is a huge Madden fan and shares her rather epic Gamertag. Embiid makes a cameo playing as his hometown champs the Philadelphia Eagles on the Madden NFL Overdriv e mobile game. Quavo gets involved after Will accidentally calls the rapper while celebrating his victory with some epic trash talk and decides to put him on a song. To cement Will’s legend, DeAndre Hopkins immortalizes the Madden gamer’s face by making it into a diamond pendant. We honestly really want to see if Nicki does play Madden regularly or was that just a line for the commercial. BUT nevertheless, the spot carries on the tradition of memorable Madden commercials. Madden NFL’19 lands on shelves August 10th, if you pre-ordered the games Hall of Fame edition, you can play three days early on August 7th. After Disney and Fox agreed to a deal that would return X-Men and Fantastic Four properties back to Marvel Studios, rumors began floating around that Fox’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants movies might be shelved as Marvel would likely want to reboot the X-Men franchise with their own cast. Truth be told after the fracas that was X-Men: Apocalypse that would’ve been a welcomed direction and word is that aside from Ryan Renolds’ Deadpool, everyone was getting replaced. And yes, that includes Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you view the situation) both the Dark Phoenix and New Mutant films are slated to drop in 2019 per the IMAX quarterly earnings report which lets investors know which films are going to be releasing. Originally set to drop on November 2, 2018, X-Men: Dark Phoenix now has a release date of February 14, 2019 while The New Mutants has been moved from February 22, 2019 to August 2, 2019. While the possibility still remains that Marvel will decide to shelve the projects in order to start with a clean slate going into Phase 4 of their post- Infinty War Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems like we may in fact get to see if writer/director Simon Kinberg will be able to correct the trainwreck that was his original Dark Phoenix storyline in 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand .
