She’s slayed the fashion industry, sold millions of records and had box office hit films.   But when it comes to epic music videos , would you put J. Lo in your top 5? Folks are having mixed feelings about the Bronx beauty being the recipient of the 2018 Video Vanguard Award. I’m not saying that J. Lo deserves or don’t deserve the Vanguard Award.   Source: Ned Dishman / Getty In his viral interview with Don Lemon last night, LeBron James spoke in depth about his I Promise school for at-risk youth and his plans for the next act of his life, post-basketball. When asked if he’d run for office, James quickly shut the idea down, saying, “I don’t think so.” But he quickly realized he was being close-minded. “I sit here and say ‘I don’t think so’, I don’t know.” Lemon followed up, “If someone tried to recruit a Lebron to run for president. [If] they said, ‘Listen they’ve got no one. If you don’t run, Trump’s gonna win,’ would you run?” Well in that case, I may,” James admitted.

As for its nickname, they’re the pair of J’s Denzel Washington aka Jesus Shuttlesworth’s dad rocked in the Spike Lee film He Got Game . The Air Jordan XIII in its white, true red and black colorway will be in stores, and available online, on Saturday, August 4 and will cost you $190. Eddie Brock (actor Tom Hardy) is getting acquainted with the alien symbiote that has attached itself to him, and it has its pluses and minuses.  Together as the Venom, they deliver vicious fades, make impossible escapes and take delight in eating people. Will the film be worthy of the MCU? We’ll have to wait and see. We are clapping for “Venom” being voiced by actor Lance Reddick of The Wire (Lieutenant Daniels) fame, though. Lauryn Hill Releases An Acoustic “Ex-Factor” Music Video For Fashion Campaign

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty It seems Ms. Lauryn Hill is continuing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her seminal album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill . First, she kicked off the festivities with a massive tour (one that’s had some success and some disappointments ), and now she’s bringing her fashion sense to the picture. Hill teamed up with Woolrich for their autumn/winter 2018 campaign and the results are beautiful. According to Vogue , Ms. Hill took huge creative control behind and in front of the camera, resulting in a series of photographs and a music video where Lauryn sings an acoustic version of her song “Ex-Factor.” Lauryn seems to be the first in a series of artists who will be apart of Woolrich’s “Woolrich: American Soul Since 1830” campaign.
