As more flooding and rainfall is expected to continue, rescue teams and citizens are mapping out a way to flee dangerous area. Meanwhile, a guy named Deandre Wilson is practicing his latest krump moves in the rain. That’s right, one of Texas’ finest took a break from worrying about the hurricane and got his dance on in the middle of the street. He even disrespected Harvey by throwing some water splashes in his routine. Check out the video below. Swift’s soon-to-be-released video for “Look What You Made Me Do” were released online and the internet had some…observations. Many thought that everything from the wardrobe to the set seemed oddly similar to Beyoncé ‘s “Formation” video. This was obviously not a good look for Swift, who has often been accused of cultural appropriation and capitalizing on white victim-hood. Well tonight, Swift will premiere the entire video during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. So ahead of the big reveal, video director Joseph Kahn tweeted in her defense. “I’ve worked with Beyoncé a few times,” he wrote. “She’s an amazing person. The #LWYMMDvideo is not in her art space. In Usher’s legal docs, obtained by TMZ, he notes her lawsuit says nothing about whether she had been tested prior to their alleged sexual encounter. He says, “A previous sexual partner very well may have already infected her.” And, Usher says, she could have contracted the STD after their alleged encounter. And he takes another shot, saying she assumed the risk of getting herpes by having “casual, unprotected sexual intercourse and/or oral sex.” It’s interesting … Usher did not attack the lawsuit by saying he couldn’t have given her herpes. Actress and rapper Lil’ Mama continues to make strides when it comes to her presence on the red carpet. She appeared at the red carpet premier for her movie, When Love Kills” in which she stars with Lance Gross . The actress was wearing a white flowing, lace gown by Michael Costello . Lil’ Mama’s gown shows true Diana Ross inspiration, from the design to the poses she struts for the camera. The dress was tied at her waist, making the flowing effect more present while showing off some melanin with the thigh-high split. She wore the dress with a pair of silver strapped heels. Her flowing, wavy tresses were parted down the middle and her melanin complexion showed off the natural tones and colors used to accentuate her features. One source of the beef is allegedly  over Kenya Moore ‘s marriage to Marc Daly . Some of her cast mates are questioning if the marriage is legitimate, according to theJasmineBRAND.com  sources. One source says, “ Kim Zolciak, Sheree Whitfield and Nene Leakes are the ring leaders in searching for the truth behind Kenya Moore’s shocking elopement earlier this year. After Kim and Kenya got into a heated altercation at Nene Leakes’ house, Kim has made it her priority to find proof that Kenya’s wedding was just a publicity stunt instead of actual nuptials.” Eesh, messy. The source continues, “At a recent taping, the RHOA cast grilled Kenya about the details of her relationship and why she chose to wed after being single for so long. The group consensus is that her marriage was never recorded and that she does not have a wedding license. Kenya feels the entire ordeal was instigated by Kim in retaliation for their blow-up at Sheree’s housewarming party last year, where she took shots at her husband, Kroy .” Moore and Daly reportedly married on June 10 in a tropical private ceremony. Daly allegedly wants nothing to do with Moore’s reality TV life , saying he doesn’t like how Black men are portrayed. Will the newly wed 47-year-old have to make a cameo on the show to prove his marriage? We’ll have to wait and find out on the next season of RHOA  coming soon .

Not only is her critically-acclaimed and ratings hit show Insecure killing it in its second season, but she has also graced magazine covers, walked high-profile red carpets and been honored for her inspiring talent and vision. Now, she can add movie star to her resume, as she was just cast in the highly-anticipated film The Hate U Give . . @IssaRae joins the cast of film adaptation of BLM-inspired novel, 'The Hate U Give,' led by Amandla Stenberg https://t.co/QjhYJV9lVK pic.twitter.com/fxy02YWXXm — Shadow And Act (@shadowandact) August 24, 2017 Based on the popular Black Lives Matter-inspired novel, The Hate U Give is the upcoming film adaptation that stars Amandla Stenberg and Regina Hall (as Stenberg’s character’s mother.) The casting process has been ongoing for months, with Common and The New Edition Story ’s breakout star Algee Smith recently signing on as well. Shadow and Act reports that Issa Rae has been cast in the drama as an activist who provides support to Stenberg’s character Starr. The synopsis of The Hate U Give reads: “The Hate U Give”  tells the story of 16-year-old Starr (portrayed by Stenberg), who navigates between the poverty-stricken slum she has grown up in and the upper-crust suburban prep school she attends. Her life is up-ended when she is an eyewitness to a police officer shooting her best friend, Khalil (Smith), who turns out to have been unarmed during the confrontation – but may or may not have been a drug dealer. As Starr finds herself even more torn between the two vastly different worlds she inhabits, she also has to contend with speaking her truth and, in the process, trying to stay alive herself. The novel was written by Angel Thomas, who was a student in Belhaven University’s creative writing program at the time she came up with the idea for  The Hate U Give  in 2011. It was originally written as a short story for her senior-year project, but it quickly expanded into a novel-length work.
