Starz is providing The Big Apple a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the show at the World’s Greatest Arena. The critically acclaimed crime drama will ride out its last season in style. The sixth season will premiere at Madison Square Garden on August 20. Aside from watching it days ahead from its scheduled premiere date on Starz, ticket holders will also be treated to a live performance from 50 Cent. Additionally the cast will also be in attendance. Titled “The Final Betrayal”, the last season will close several loops in the ever-evolving plot line. According to the formal press release “season 6 picks up with James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Hardwick) seeking vengeance. His former drug partner and brother in arms must pay for the ultimate betrayal. The rest of the group is on a swamp tour and all the fun touristy tings. It’s all good until Rasheeda confronts Kirk about not telling her that he has been texting with Jasmine (Rasheeda found out by just so happening to see the texts in his phone). Initially, his daughter was the go-between, between Kirk and Jasmine but she got tired of that, because it’s obviously exhausting and sometimes inconvenient, so Kirk ended up communicating with Jasmine directly without telling Rasheeda. Rasheeda is pissed because, obvious trust issues, but Kirk actually gives her a sensical explanation, which is that it just makes sense to deal with Jasmine directly and not ad middle man when it comes to their son. That doesn’t excuse him not being honest, but he has long been not honest at times, so… Later on, Rasheeda decides not to deal with it on the trip and wait until they get home, but this has become a thing. She complains about it to the Bam, Mimi, and Shekinah. They support their girl and tell her to open a line of communication with Jasmine. We’ll see what happens with that when they get back to Atlanta. Let’s fast forward a bit. Spice links with socca legends, Machel Montano and Destra, in preparation of Machel Mondays. This is the non-drama portion of the program where Machel tells Spice how much he loves her natural beauty. This is all because Spice is conflicted about whether she should sing “Black Hypocrisy” or not. We don’t know whether she’s going to sing the song or not but Machel’s pep seems to be motivation for a good show. The other ladies have a beach day, and the whole, “Did Karlie have a threesome with Hiriam and Pooh or not” situation comes up…again. Mimi fans the flames by mentioning that the story has mysteriously leaked to #TheBlogs, but no one knows who leaked it. Then, Karlie suggests taking a lie detector test. We’ll have to wait until another episode for that drama, but at least they didn’t attempt to brawl this time. Back in the A, Che Mack is back talking to made Man. She has been nursing him back to health since he got shot but she still hasn’t forgiven him for cheating (even though he denies it). She moved out and got her own place but Made Man wants her to come back home. She loves him and all, but she can’t trust him so that’s not going to help him. Back in Trinidad, the group turns up at Machel Monday. Spice, who is dubbed the Queen of Dancehall, does her thing in a spirited opening number with backing from Destra, the Queen of Bacchanal. A good time was had by all. But it’s back to reality next week! He believes it tarnishes her legacy. At one point, Evans did ask Halle Berry about what she thought about her name used in rap lyrics. She explained that she didn’t have a favorite but she’s appreciative that her name is still in the fold and the fact that she’s even remembered. “There’s no way I could pick one. Source: FOX / Getty Jussie Smollett and the alleged faked attack in Chicago still hangs over his head, and now portions of the investigation are becoming available to the public. The latest evidence to be made public was a 911 made by a friend of Smollett noting that the reportedly former Empire actor was found with a noose around his neck. TMZ reports : On the January 29 phone call, which Chicago PD just released, the friend says Jussie’s “attackers” wrapped a noose around his neck, after getting jumped as he left a Subway restaurant. The caller says Jussie didn’t want to file a report, but he was going to force him to do so. The male friend sounded panicked as he said, “They put a noose around his neck” and added … “this is really f**ked up.” Police had said the 911 call was made 40 minutes after Jussie got back to his Chicago apartment. PageSix is reporting that for the second time this week an ex-homie of the “Billy” rapper pleaded guilty to a racketeering charge to a federal judge in Manhattan yesterday (June 5). That brings the total number of ex-Tekashi associates taking plea deals to nine (good thing he was never a Wu-Tang Clan member because it would’ve been a wrap for them after their classic Enter The 36 Chambers ). Butler’s decision to plead guilty to the charge leaves two defendants in the case facing trial — Anthony “Harv” Ellison, a former member of Tekashi’s management team who allegedly beat up Tekashi last year and robbed him for $750,000 worth of jewelry and $20,000 in cash; and another alleged Nine Trey member, Roland Martin. Ever since blowing up with “Gummo” and taking the music millennials by storm in late 2017, rumors began circulating around the hood that Tekashi’s Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods crew was extorting him for his royalties in return for their protection and street services. Once he decided to hold back on some paper he ended up getting taken by his own wolves and unfortunately for him there wasn’t a Liam Neeson in his corner to save him. Since then Feds clamped down on Tekashi and the Bloods crew for a gang of federal offenses. Since then Tekashi’s gone from gangsta rapper to opera singer and basically ended the show for many of his former associates including Kooda B who pled guilty earlier this week for his role in the shooting of Chief Keef and his cousin while he was visiting New York City during the summer last year. Tekashi is said to have paid him $10K in cash for the attempt on Keef’s cousin’s life. Now we wait to see how many more people the feds take down with the high notes that the fat lady’s been providing them with.

The ongoing “friendly” beef between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors superfan and global ambassador Drake is getting really spicy. The Golden State Warriors have been the subject of extreme trolling from Drizzy while taking on his Raptors in Toronto. After walking away with the victory in game 2, subsequently shutting up the 6 God and the Klay Thompson alongside calling Drizzy “bum ass” from outside of their locker room they took things a step further for Game 3. The depleted defending champs decided to troll Aubrey by warming up to Pusha T’s diss track “Story of Adidon” that was directed at him and revealed he had a secret child. Once again we follow Max the terrier who has to learn to cope with some major life changes when his owner gets married and has a baby. When the family takes a trip to the countryside, he ends up getting schooled by Rooster played by Harrison Ford, a gruff farm dog who tries to cure the lovable pooch of his neuroses. Back at the Apartment building, Snowball, voiced by Kevin Hart goes on a mission with Daisy, voiced by Tiffany Haddish, who saw a baby tiger getting abused and she needs Captain Snowball to save the day. I sat down with Kevin Hart to discuss this role, his long terms plans and retirement as well as discovering his Secret Life. He knows absolutely nothing about how to work his house. “People know how I am but you don’t know how I am. If you could actually see me in my house it’s probably the funniest thing ever. I’m just the dad that don’t know nothing! I don’t know sh*t! Bay bay! Baby!! The theater thing went off. How I get it back on? Bay Bay!!” After my interview with Kevin, I sat down with Bobby Moynihan and Lake Bell to have some fun about pets and asked them If Goofy is a dog and if so why is Pluto a dog? Bobby summed it up very quickly saying “They both dogs!” Bobby and Lake also join on board to make a passionate call to get DMX to be in the third installment of Secret Life of Pets. Source: ADALBERTO ROQUE / Getty In a move some expected once President Donald Trump took office, the administration is rolling back nearly 20 years of eased travel restrictions to Cuba and banning all cruise ship stops from the United States. The move was enacted to put pressure on Cuban officials and to keep American dollars away from its economy. NPR reports : “This administration has made a strategic decision to reverse the loosening of sanctions and other restrictions on the Cuban regime. These actions will help to keep U.S. dollars out of the hands of Cuban military, intelligence, and security services,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in a statement. Mnuchin, who joined Trump on his first state visit to the United Kingdom this week, added that Cuba, with a population of fewer than 12 million people, “continues to play a destabilizing role in the Western Hemisphere, providing a communist foothold in the region and propping up U.S. adversaries in places like Venezuela and Nicaragua.” U.S. law bars travel to Cuba for tourist activities, but Americans have been allowed to go there under 12 authorized categories, including individual and group “people-to-people” travel — a subcategory of the education provision that permitted visits to the socialist country for cultural and educational purposes.
