Woody, Buzz, and most of the original gang are learning to love their new kid, Bonnie Anderson, while Bo Peep becomes a lost toy, and we witness the “birth” of a new one. HelloBeautiful visited Pixar for a glimpse of the new movie and talks with director Josh Cooley and producers Mark Nielsen and Jonas Rivera. Here’s what we learned. At this point, it’s probably a blend of paste and imagination. Regardless, Forky is the newborn baby of the bunch and as such he is unpredictable, innocent, and wildly entertaining. Pair that with the fact that he’s just learning to use his lanky pipe cleaner arms, swiveling googly eyes, and popsicle feet, he makes for one of the funniest characters in the film. TBH, Woody was also present for the “birth” and “first steps” of the wobbling baby boy so I’m calling daddy duty, but so does director Josh Cooley. “[Woody] was obviously so important to Andy… it’s not going to be the same with Bonnie,” Cooley tells HelloBeautiful. “For Bonnie right now, Forky is so important to her, so for Woody, it’s like I can help Bonnie by mentoring this innocent character who doesn’t understand the world, so he becomes a father-figure, a mentor.” More so, Woody is very much ready for the role, as he reflects on his own personal toy journey to help Forky. “Woody actually goes internal because he’s trying to explain what it means to be such an important part of a kids life and that forces him to reflect and look back,” adds Cooley. “Woody goes to great lengths to look out for Forky, care for Forky, and do whatever he can to get him back to Bonnie,” adds Nielsen. She becomes a lost toy — any toy’s greatest fear – but she’s chosen that life of her own accord and she’s certainly empowered in doing so. Though, the Pixar team makes it known that Bo’s bold side isn’t new, it’s just another layer that’s finally coming to the top. “We went back and watched just the Bo Peep scenes from Toy Story 1 & Toy Story 2 to remind ourselves of where she came from and she’s always been tough and a leader,” says Cooley. “Ad all we did was bring her to the surface. She been through more, lets amplify it.” “She’s been out there in the world, living life on her own terms… and she’s in charge of her own destiny so thats going to toughen you up even if you are a porcelain doll,” says Nielsen. “So a lot of her personality and character with the situations she’s been in and seen, we want to reflect that side of her,” he continues. P.S. Bo Peep’s sheep will give you life. They’ve got names (Billy, Goat, and Gruff) and sassy attitudes that mirror their mom. The fluffy trio are a “mixture of children and pet” clarifies Cooley. “We knew they could be fun non-verbal characters and we could have fun with the way they move, interact with each other, and the world.” P.P.S They can drive. She’s a Polly Pocket-esque character with the most infectious laugh known to man. The police officer themed-toy meets Bo Peep in the antiques mall where they become best friends, but McDimples is somewhat more than just a teeny-tiny pal. “We kind of hope she is today’s Jiminy Cricket, she’s just this important voice and conscience for Bo Peep,” says producer Jonas Rivera. The bite-sized toy easily jumps in and out of frame and land on Bo’s shoulder. “Basically Bo can have a conversation with the devil and angel on her shoulder and it can be their private moment,” adds Cooley. She runs the antique mall like crime mob, where her main goon Benson (a ventriloquist dummy), finds any new toy and introduces them to the King – I mean Queenpin – on the block. This is because Gabby Gabby is on the lookout for new voice boxes and is absolutely taken by Woody’s which is perfectly intact. As you can imagine, this is where things get a little hairy. The Crips holding company has filed legal documents to trademark the late rapper’s “The Marathon Continues” slogan and to build community programs around the phrase. The Blast reports : According to documents obtained by The Blast, the Crips moved to register “The Marathon Continues,” to be used in a mixture of services, including “Arranging and conducting youth sports programs.” The application was actually filed by the Crips holding company, Crips LLC, on May 16. Among the other services listed for Nipsey’s catchphrase, the Crips included, “Developing educational manuals for others in the field of community organizing, gang prevention” and “gang intervention.” The application also mentions entertainment services to be provided by celebrities, comedians, rappers and “community organizers” from both the Crips and the Bloods. The Houston rapper owes some of her success to former MLB player Carl Crawford, who explained recently that he signed her to his entertainment imprint. TMZ Sports reports : If you’re not familiar with Megan (shame on you) she and her hottie army are taking over the rap game with her debut album, “Fever,” which just dropped … and everyone from Drake to Juicy J is showing love. Turns out Megan had a big-time ally helping her get to the top … she’s signed to Crawford’s label, 1501 Certified Ent, and when we talked to Carl he told us it’s not a one-off, he’s in the game to stay. “We got Megan and we think she’s gonna be a huge star. And, not only her … we’re hoping we have other people come up through the system as well.” Crawford played 15 years in the MLB making over $179 million in his career — and he tells us he’s spent a big part of his fortune to launch his record label. “It was at least 7 figures, I’ll tell you that. In video footage of the incident, security told Meek that because of a prior incident they had with him, he was banned from entry. Meek said that no such incident ever occurred and, if so, to provide the paperwork including a date and time. The Bronx rapper caught four charges in the assault case against her. Reports TMZ : Prosecutors filed 4 charges against the rapper Friday — 2 counts of assault in the third degree, 1 count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and 1 count of harassment in the second degree … all of which are misdemeanors. The charges stem from an incident in April, in which Remy allegedly punched the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star in the right eye while backstage at the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza in NYC. She was initially booked for misdemeanor assault after turning herself in … but prosecutors have now made the multiple charges official. Here’s what’s interesting … Remy’s attorney, Dawn Florio, tells TMZ that prosecutors have updated the time in which they claim the attack went down, from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM. We’re told they still do not have any video of the alleged attack. Remy claims she wasn’t at Irving Plaze at the time of the fade delivery, but the updated timing may change that alibi. Word is Remy was offered a deal of pleading guilty to just the assault in the third degree charge in exchange for no time and taking an anger management. If it doesn’t mean she’s going back to the bing, it’s a safe bet she’s going to take the deal. The Apple news source reports this news with the utmost confidence being that Apple devices always show up in the Eurasian Economic Commission regulatory database usually ahead of their official announcements and releases. According to the website the 2019 iPhone models reportedly showed up in this group of model numbers A2111, A2160, A2161, A2215, A2216, A2217, A2218, A2219, A2220, A2221, and A2223. Models A2220, A2221, and A2223 more than likely represent the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max, and the upgraded XR model. Rumors are already swirling about the handsets with leaks of its new design and specs getting Apple fanatics talking and cringing at the phones new triple camera design. Per 9to5Mac : This year’s iPhones are expected to largely feature the same outside appearance as the 2018 iPhone flagships, although Apple may switch to a more matte finish for the back glass. In addition to upgrades like bilateral wireless charging for AirPods and the more powerful Apple A13 chip, it looks like the 2019 iPhones will focus on camera upgrades. Apple is adding an extra camera to both the XR and the XS; the 2019 iPhone XR will feature a dual-camera module and the iPhone 11 and 11 Max will feature a triple-camera system for the first time. The iPhone will seemingly include a larger, square camera bump to accommodate the new cameras. The additional lens in the triple-camera system is believed to be an ultra-wide camera made by Sony, expanding the range of zoom available in the iPhone Camera app. Apple may also use computer vision technology to blend data from each of the three cameras together to take more-detailed photos at a standard zoom level. The front-facing camera will also be upgraded to take better quality shots. Apple is currently playing catch up with Samsung and Google , whose current flagship phone models are ahead of the curve with their new camera systems.
