The way Gucci Mane turned his life around is an inspiration to us all , so for his 39th birthday today we’re here to celebrate the young king—and his undying love for diamonds. Everybody who knows anything about Radric knows he loves to shine , so his wife Keyshia Ka’oir got it right when she gifted him a 35-carat pinky ring for his b-day. An impressed Gucci posted the gift all over his social media today, writing “Well Damn my wife just froze my pinky 35kt Brrrrrrr.” Looking directly into its light could blind you, so avert your eyes as you check out Guwop’s new bling… Page Six spoke with diamond expert Mace Blickman, who says the rock is one of a kind. “I’ve never seen anything like it, a wedding band and a diamond combined like this. There’s certainly a lot of workmanship involved here,” Blickman told the publication. “The center stone is a pear-shaped diamond mounted on top of an emerald-cut eternity band. Each individual diamond in the eternity band appears to be approximately one carat each. There is a micro-diamond pavé setting on both the wedding band and the gallery supporting the pear-shaped diamond. This piece is absolutely one of a kind,” he said. Seeing as Gucci Mane previously showcased a $500K 15-carat diamond in a video for GQ, and his new one is over two times that size, Page Six estimates the pinky ring cost Keyshia Ka’oir upwards of one million dollars. Happy Death Day 2 U is about a character Tree who has to relive her hell all over again. We sat down with Jessica Rothe and Israel Broussard to discuss the film. A quick review and be careful about spoilers, Tree happens to be in another dimension where her mother is alive. Tree has to face the decision of either staying in this dimension or living in another where her mother is dead. Tree and her boyfriend Carter, and friend Ryan go through a constant spiral of dimensions in order to correct their wrongs. Their friend Ryan wakes up reliving his own day over and over, at first he thinks it’s a dream until Tree hears his story. Tree tries to help Ryan until his invention SISSY blows up and time hops her into different dimensions herself. Tree commits suicide over and over to help Ryan and his gang remember the right algorithm for SISSY to work again. Happy Death Day 2 U also makes the audience dig deep into their own feelings with life lessons. We follow tree go through a wave of emotions from inner peace, anxiety, sorrow, resentment, and self-acceptance. It was thrilling and comical, the comedic relief was perfectly planned throughout the film. The anticipation is high as we watch Ryan, Tree and Carter fight the baby killer and solve the algorithm repeatedly. As I watched the movie I found myself asking what things I had to let go of in my own life along with Tree. I had the pleasure of interviewing the cast of happy death day 2 u to ask what life lessons they carry on with them. Jessica Rothe said “There’s so many, I am close with my parents, especially with my mom, which we were able to use and draw on very heavily for the sequel of this film. The biggest life lessoned I learned was you have to show up every day in the world and treat people how you want them to treat you, which I Tree is learning in these movies. It was a good reminder and reset to take into the film. Israel Broussard said, “I try to see the good in people and I wanted that in Carter still, I grew up in a very Christian home, so that was very much instilled do on to others as you want done to you”. Happy Death Day 2U comes out just in time for a date, it will be in theatres on Valentines Day.

After spending over a week in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following his arrest on February 3, the rapper was released on bond on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports from TMZ . 21’s lawyers gave a statement to the publication quickly following his release. “21 Savage asked us to send a special message to his fans and supporters — he says that while he wasn’t present at the Grammy Awards, he was there in spirit and is grateful for the support from around the world and is more than ever, ready to be with his loved ones and continue making music that brings people together,” Alex Spiro, Charles H. Kuck and Dina LaPolt said in the joint statement. “He will not forget this ordeal or any of the other fathers, sons, family members, and faceless people, he was locked up with or that remain unjustly incarcerated across the country. And he asks for your hearts and minds to be with them.” If you’re not caught up on why Savage was detained in the first place, he was arrested following a traffic stop in Atlanta in early February and was taken into custody when officials found that the rapper is actually a citizen of the United Kingdom. ICE spokesman Bryan Cox said at the time, “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present United Kingdom national Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph AKA ‘21 Savage’ during a targeted operation with federal and local law enforcement partners early Sunday in metro Atlanta. Mr. Abraham-Joseph was taken into ICE custody as he is unlawfully present in the U.S. and also a convicted felon.” Though authorities initially claimed that Savage’s visa expired in July 2006, his legal team later debunked that story. But now, celebrations are in order that 21 has finally been released from the detention center he was held in for over a week–although, he didn’t get off completely scot-free; The rapper was released on bond pending a deportation hearing and luckily, his attorneys say that 21 was granted an expedited hearing. With that being said, 21 FINALLY getting out as he should of when he was first arrested is something to be happy about, and fans are definitely celebrating this occasion. Source: Judy Eddy/WENN.com / WENN Floyd Mayweather has never been one to strike a social justice stance, but few would have expected him to defy a growing notion that Gucci isn’t down with Black people . After the fashion brand’s blackface snafu, Money Mayweather gleefully stunted on the boycott by going on a Gucci shopping spree. TMZ Sports reports : The boxer — along with his entire TMT crew — rolled into Gucci in Bev Hills … and when we told him about all of the stars calling for a Gucci ban over a sweatshirt that resembled blackface, Floyd scoffed. “I’m not no follower, I do what the f*ck I wanna do,” Floyd told us. When we told Floyd that stars like T.I. and Spike Lee would be upset with him, Floyd laughed. “You said they’re gonna be upset with me? I love it, I love it, I love it. See, the thing is this, I live for myself. I do what I want to do.” Outside the store, Floyd and his crew showed off a BUNCH of bags filled with Gucci — dropping a fortune on clothing and accessories. “I’m not a follower,” Floyd added … “You know when everybody else they say, ‘Everybody gonna boycott?’ I say guess what, this boy gonna get on a yacht and live life.” Mayweather defiantly said that he doesn’t see a need to stop shopping at high-end retailers even if they’ve posted offensive material, doing so while evoking the “Black Lives Matter” slogan. Source: Shareif Ziyadat / Getty Tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop New York finds the group headed to Costa Rica. It all starts with Juju telling Kimbella and Cyn that she has to host an event in Costa Rica and wants them to come with her so they can make it a girls trip. However, there’s a catch. Juju also plans on bringing Yandy. Kimbella says she’s still on cloud nine about her engagement and she’s going to go to Costa Rica regardless and keep it cute. Cyn and Joe have been in a much better space since their therapy session. Their communication is good and they’re having sex again. In fact, they’re in such a good space that Cyn invites Joe (since State of the Culture is going on a break) so they can keep the momentum going. Basically, Cyn is that chick who brings her man on a girls trip. Juju expresses to Yandy that she’s annoyed with Cyn for inviting Joe so Yandy uses this as the opportunity to invite Safaree. Juju isn’t thrilled to see Safaree either because she says he hasn’t really been a good friend to her. Yandy’s explanation is that Safaree is in a weird space (he didn’t go through with the sex toy deal among other career and life stuff) and could use the trip. Plus, he could keep Joe company. Juju begrudgingly agrees. Later on, Maino reveals to Joe that he and Maggie aren’t on good terms right now. Maggie is still mad at him about not taking her rapping seriously so they haven’t spoken in a minute. Maggie is going on the not so girls trip so Joe thinks it’s a great idea to invite Maino too! We’ll see how that goes. Juelz can’t go for obvious reasons. In other news, Alexis Skyy links up with Solo Lucci to discuss the rumors that he helped to perpetuate on #theblogs that he’s her real baby daddy. Them meeting up is really unnecessary because they end up arguing. Basically, Lucci thinks he really could be the father. Alexis says he’s not and that she’s just going through with the test to shut people up so we’ll have to wait and see what’s up with that. Yandy and Juelz meet up in the studio and this is their moment to discuss how awkward things have been between them. In short, Juelz feels like he’s stuck in the middle of Kimbella and Yandy’s drama and wants them to get right so they can move forward. You know what that means, right? They have to have a conversation. We all know how that’s going to go. Now we’re on the not so girls trip to Costa Rica. The catch is, Juju didn’t tell yandy she invited Kimbella so when Yandy sees her at the hotel she’s just like: Eventually, Yandy sits with Maggie and talks about how she’s pissed that Juju didn’t tell her about Kim coming. Then Maggie spills tea about how Jonathan told her that Kim and MariahLynn were talking smack about Yandy being a clout chaser and saying that her adopting Infinity is fake. This obviously riles Yandy up and it’s also the moment Juju shows up. Yandy is no longer open to having a peace talk with Kimbella and threatens to go back to New York. Juju talks all this yang about how she wanted all her girls to be there and she thought they’d be mature enough to be on the trip together. Pero like, is she serious? What did she think would happen? Anyway, Yandy actually does stick around because next week’s preview shows she and Kimbella in another heated exchange. Source: Emma McIntyre / Getty While there was MUCH to discuss about the tribute to Motown at the 61st Grammy Awards, one tribute that felt brief but powerful was the one for the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin who passed away last year at 76. Yolanda Adams , Fantasia and Andra Day stood side by side as they belted out Aretha’s signature 1967 hit “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”. Each woman took a particular verse before coming together to a fiery, impactful finale. Adams previously paid tribute to Franklin with a performance of “Mary Don’t You Weep” at her funeral last August. You can watch the performance of “A Natural Woman” below.
