Source: Michael Bezjian / Getty Vincent Herbert , the ex-husband of Celebrity Big Brother star Tamar Braxton, might have to let go some of his royalties to settle a $65,000 debt. Herbert has worked behind the scenes with the likes of Toni Braxton , Destiny’s Child, and others. The Blast reports : According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a company named Manhattan Leasing Enterprises is taking steps to collect the money owed to them from Herbert. They sued him for allegedly breaching a 2016 Rolls Royce lease and were awarded a $65,138.02 judgment in the case. Since being awarded the judgment, they claim to have not been paid a dime from Herbert on the debt. Manhattan Leasing recently subpoenaed American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) to find answers about Herbert’s royalties and music income. Manhattan specifically wants to know about royalties that Herbert is collecting for his work on the Toni Braxton songs “How Many Ways” and “Please,” multiple tracks by JoJo, Destiny’s Child, Mindless Behavior, Montell Jordan, Bryson Tiller and even music from Gloria Gaynor. Like we always do at this time, we’re giving you your much-needed dose of recap reality. The film is a sequel to the previous movies, Unbreakable , which came out in 2000, and Split , which was released in 2016. It stars Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and of course, James McAvoy, who reprises his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within. Glass hit theaters on January 18, 2019, and was met with mixed reviews. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a mere 36% score while IMDB was more forgiving with a 7 out of 10 rating. On the show, the Atlanta native uses various scenarios to confront important social issues and cultural taboos. The first season of the show is six episodes long and has already picked up steam on social media. An episode in which Killer Mike teaches a young grade school student about white privilege quickly went viral just hours after Trigger Warning was available for streaming on Netflix. Killer Mike uses nontraditional approaches to explore the human condition and examine the “what ifs” and “why nots” that limit how people operate in the world. But as the ancestors said before us, still we rise. Check out the losers for the week below, then hit the next page to find out who helped save what was left of Black History month! Losers People who don’t know what racism is Clearly, racism needs to get more airtime in school classrooms because it seems people still don’t understand the full weight of the phenomenon. The topic received a lot of attention this week starting with Liam Neeson who revealed that he once went looking to kill a “Black bastard” after his friend said she was raped by a Black man. Neeson explained himself on Good Morning America and how he regretted his feelings at the time. However, he never once said that his actions and sentiments were racist. As a matter of fact, he went on to say “I’m not racist, this was nearly 40 years ago.” Sorry Liam, that was racist. Find out why here. The non-acknowledgement of racism didn’t stop here, however. The next day, Neeson’s co-star in the movie Widows Michelle Rodriguez had the audacity to defend Neeson by saying: “Dude, have you watched Widows ? His tongue was so far down Viola Davis’ throat. You can’t call him a racist ever. Racists don’t make out with the race that they hate, especially in the way he does with his tongue—so deep down her throat. I don’t care how good of an actor you are. It’s all bullsh**. Ignore it. He’s not a racist.” Father help us. I guess Michelle missed that unit on Black fetishization in her 5th grade history class. And guess what Michelle? It’s all tied to the one big family of… R A C I S M. And finally, you’d think after think pieces, Twitter rants and Facebook arguments, people would understand that blackface is bad and also has ties to racism , right? Naw. According to a recent YouGov poll , only 58 percent of Americans believe blackface is bad. Meanwhile, Gucci is making blackface sweaters and current Democrat leaders, like Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam , are being pinned for their blackface past. *Sigh* Either A LOT of teaching needs to be done or people just don’t care. Either way, racism is clearly still alive.

While previous reports and Bow Wow’s mugshot seemed to paint Leslie as the aggressor, new details that shed more light on their ugly altercation have emerged. In the 9-1-1 call, Leslie tells the dispatcher the rapper said no one would ever believe he hit her . Additionally, “a distraught Leslie Holden tells the operator she was assaulted by Bow Wow and fled his apartment to make the call,” TMZ reports. “Leslie claims cops showed up for a previous disturbance before the actual arrest, but Bow Wow and two of his friends refused to let her out of a bedroom to speak with officers.” According to the site, the building manager also called police after a resident called to complain about Bow Wow and Leslie fighting. The resident allegedly “heard a male voice saying he would ‘slap the f*ck out of this b*tch.’ Previous reports state In the end, both were charged with misdemeanor battery. 2018 was a huge year for animated films with flicks like Incredibles 2 and Ralph Breaks The Internet. Come to think about it, it was a big year for sequels as well. 2019 seems to be picking up where last year left off, but with a bang. The Lego Movie 2 hit theaters this week, and just like it’s predecessor which was released in 2014, The Second Part was chock full of stars. Chris Pratt , Elizabeth Banks and Will Arnett are back to reprise their roles as Emmet, Lucy and Batman. But this time around, the gang has to defend their beloved Bricksburg from Duplo invaders who have turned the town into a post-apocalyptic wasteland named Apocalypseburg. After General Sweet Mayhem, the leader of the Duplo army (played by Stephanie Beatriz) kidnaps Batman, Lucy, Benny, Metalbeard, Unikitty and takes them to the Systar system, Batman is taken to Queen Wa’Nabi where he find out that she helps satisfy his emotional validation. The others are placed in environments design to tempt them, and they each fall for these temptations, except Master Builder Lucy. Once again, it’s up to Emmet Brickowski to save his friends and get his town back to normal. And speaking of Queen Watevera Wa’Nabi — who better to voice the shape-shifting alien Queen of the Systar System than Queen Tiffany Haddish . On this episode of Extra Butter, we sat with the cast the adventure comedy as they dished on all things Lego Movie 2. They even spilled a little relationship advice on baed on Lucy and Emmet’s interesting relationship. Should push people to their potential, or just love them as they are? Elizabeth told us, “I do think you want people to grow and evolve a little bit and shake them out of a routine that they can’t even perceive. I think we all get stuck in those things. It often takes an outsider or another view on it to sort of shake you out of what you’re doing. But at the same time, I don’t think Lucy wanted [Emmet] to change, I think Lucy wanted Emmet to explore another side of himself. And he does that work in then film, then comes to his own conclusion about what is authentic to him. And I think that’s what we’re all striving for.” The cool cast sure knows a thing or two about being authentic — especially Tiffany Haddish.
