The rapper and reality star shared his thoughts about the “Empire” actors alleged hate crime on a recent episode of his podcast “ State Of The Culture.” He opened with going over the news about his attack. “[He] was allegedly brutally attacked recently in Chicago by ‘MAGA terrorists.’ They broke his ribs, they put a noose about his neck, they poured bleach on him and called him derogatory names. The 38-year-old also made fun of the threatening letter allegedly sent to FOX saying it looked “like some bulls**t I saw in Austin Powers.” While Budden says that he believes that Jussie was attacked, he isn’t sold on the idea that it was a hate crime. “Famous rich people, when bad things happen and they want to cover the story because famous people to fuck shit sometimes like humans,” Joe stressed. “You cover the story to protect your image, your likeness and your career.” He concluded that Jussie may be preying on the emotions of the community to garner support and sympathy. “I’m waiting for footage. Just show me footage and I’ll shut the fuck up,” he said. As per Hypebeast the sporting goods manufacturer definitely took a cultural loss when it came to their Black History Month collection. Included in the drop was a UltraBOOST model which in theory would make sense given it is one of their most popular sellers. Problem was it was an all white silhouette AND was named “UNCAGED”. Naturally the move got a huge side eye from sneaker enthusiasts and anybody with a bit of common sense alike. Considering the set were made in the spirit of “Celebrating Black Culture” adidas released a formal statement apologizing for the huge faux pas. “Adidas released a new collection in celebration of Black History Month featuring designs inspired by the Harlem Renaissance. It includes footwear and apparel across a variety of categories. Toward the latter stages of the design process, we added a running shoe to the collection that we later felt did not reflect the spirit or philosophy of how adidas believes we should recognize and honor Black History Month. After careful consideration, we have decided to withdraw the product from the collection.” The sneaker has since been pulled. Source: Scott Dudelson / Getty Jussie Smollett has returned to Chicago after a weekend in Los Angeles and in the wake of the alleged vicious attack he suffered. The Empire actor is back in town to complete shooting for the series, and police still have questions for him regarding the assault. TMZ reports : A production source tells us Smollett flew back into the Windy City Sunday, after his weekend show in Los Angeles. We’re told Smollett shot scenes for one of the final episodes of the season Monday and did a table read with the cast Tuesday … security was present the entire time. Law enforcement sources tell us cops want to speak with Jussie while he’s in town as part of their ongoing investigation. As for where he’s staying while in town … a source close to Jussie tells us he’s back at the same apartment complex where he was living at the time of the attack. The outlet adds in its report that Chicago authorities have more video footage of the area where the attack allegedly happened according to sources but has not yet released the images to the public. — Photo: Getty

She told officers on the scene the whole fight started when they got home from a party. Leslie — who appears on “Growing Up Hip Hop” — claims Bow Wow was pissed she was talking to another man at the party, and lit into her about it when they got home. In the police report, obtained by TMZ, Leslie says Bow Wow hit her in the head, pulled her by the hair, dragged her from her bedroom … and told her to get the hell out. For his part, Bow Wow acknowledged being pissed about the other guy … telling cops she “disrespected him” by hanging “all over another man’s body.” He claims Leslie called him a “bitch ass n***er” when he complained about her behavior. He claims he merely told Leslie to leave their home, and placed her bags by the door. He claims Leslie “grabbed a night stand lamp and threw it at him.” He says she missed with the lamp, but scratched the hell out of his face … which is obvious in his mug shot. An officer on the scene says he saw the lamp on the ground when he entered the bedroom. Cops observed red marks on Leslie’s fingers as well as broken fingernails. From the looks of their mugshots, Bow Wow may have a case against her. Nevertheless, the cops pinched both of these lovebirds. The struggle is real. While the Super Bowl turned out to be a total dud and the halftime show was probably the most forgettable in history (didn’t even get that rumored SNKRS shock drop at the end of it), the commercials weren’t half-bad. Jordan Peele certainly used his spot to build anticipation for the reboot of the cult classic series, The Twilight Zone . Serving as both a producer and host for The Twilight Zone , the brains behind the cult classic Get Out and Us certainly seems like the man to bring back the classic sci-fi television series. They even cleverly tied the commercial into the Super Bowl with a football stadium setting. The woman, known only as Jane Doe, says a motion filed by Nelly in order to get her to reveal her identity is a tactic to have her drop a connected lawsuit. The Blast reports : The woman suing Nelly (who filed the case under the pseudonym Jane Doe) is responding to the rapper’s request to dismiss the case unless she reveals her identity. “Nelly is attempting to intimidate his sexual assault victim into dropping her case by publicly ‘outing’ her,” Doe’s attorney writes in a new filing. “There is no other reason.” She is demanding his motion to force her to reveal her true identity be denied by the court. The woman says Nelly and his lawyers were already informed privately of her identity last year before this lawsuit was filed. They claim, “There is no prejudice to the Defense in allowing Plaintiff to stay out of the public eye such that her identity remains known only to the Court and to the parties here.” She points out courts have repeatedly ruled that allegations of “sexual assault and rape, as in this case, concern highly sensitive and personal subjects, and that forcing the victims to identify themselves publicly would deter those victims and others from reporting their assaults.” The lawsuit is connected to a November 2017 event in England where Jane Doe claims Nelly masturbated in front of her backstage and forced his penis into her mouth.
