If you haven’t been outside in the last couple days…IT’S COLD! In the midwest American’s are dealing with temperatures as low as minus 20 with wind chills on almost minus 50. In our area we’re dealing with our fair share of frigid weather, it’s gotten pretty cold. If you don’t have to go outside for long periods of times, then don’t. Meteorologists are calling for the below freezing temperatures and multiple school districts have called for two hour delays and cancelations for students tomorrow. This polar vortex is taking the midwest and east coast out! If you do have to be outside tomorrow here are some tips to stay warm: Source: Spencer Platt / Getty Minimize outside activities,  particularly the elderly and very young. Dress in layers.  Several layers of loose-fitting, lightweight clothing will keep you warmer than a single layer of heavy clothing. Wear the right gear.  Our bodies prioritize keeping our organs warm, which means hands and feet are typically the first to feel the cold. Wear either wool-lined winter gloves or heavy mittens, and sturdy, waterproof boots, protecting your extremities. Do not leave  pets  outside during cold weather extremes.  They need adequate shelter.  In sub-zero temperatures, their paws, noses and ears can succumb to frostbite—bring them inside. now the warning signs of  hypothermia :  uncontrollable shivering, memory loss, disorientation, incoherence, slurred speech, drowsiness and apparent exhaustion. Be safe with heat sources.  When using alternate heating sources, such as your fireplace, wood stove or space heater, take the necessary safety precautions to ensure they are ventilating properly. Save the food.  If you  lose power  for an extended period of time, don’t let food go to waste! To keep  pipes  from freezing,  wrap them in insulation or layers of newspapers, covering the newspapers with plastic to keep out moisture. Allow a trickle of water to run from a faucet if your pipes have frozen in the past.

Source: PYMCA / Getty Word is Tekashi 6ix9ine is already dropping dime on his former associates. A few members of the Brownsville rapper’s entourage have been charged with shooting at Chief Keef.  According to TMZ ,  Kintea McKenzie ,  Anthony Ellison  and  Denard Butler  have indicted in crimes that all share a connection to Tekashi69. Reportedly, McKenzie, who also goes by Kooda B, was indicted soon after Tekashi spoke to investigators, and he was tagged as the shooter in the incident that occurred in Times Square last June. No one was injured, but afterwards footage was revealed of Tekashi essentially putting a $30K bounty on Chief Keef’s cousin, Tadoe . However, according to the authorities, McKenzie was paid $10K to shoot Sosa, but fortunately for the Chicago rapper he missed. McKenzie is still on the lam. Currently, Ellison is in custody for allegedly kidnapping Tekashi (seriously, back in July 2018 ) while Butler got picked up by ATF just today (Jan. 30). Tekashi has been in the clink since November and is facing federal racketeering charges. Considering the Brownsville rapper was an admitted troll and truly not ’bout that life, expect him to keep singing. Otherwise, he’s looking at 32 years to life in prison . — Photo: Getty

Oh Hell Naw: This Apple Glitch Is Making Folks Think Thrice About FaceTime

Continue reading here:

Source: Andrew Burton / Getty Imagine that you’re going on about your day and the one person you don’t want to speak to is trying to call you. You let their call decline, so they FaceTime you . You try to let the FT decline itself, then all of a sudden you hear, “hello?” That’s right. There’s an Apple bug that lets you listen in on people you call, even when they don’t pick up the phone. And it’s a real bug, too. All you have to do is place a video call to someone from your iPhone using Apple’s FaceTime app. Then before they pick up, use the menu option to add somebody else to the call and, and add yourself to the call. Now you can answer for yourself on FaceTime even if they don’t answer #Apple explain this.. pic.twitter.com/gr8llRKZxJ — Benji Mobb (@BmManski) January 28, 2019 Apple users are freaking out, because this isn’t just a little glitch. It’s a big deal, and it gets a little worse. According to The Verge , if the person you’re calling tries to end it by tapping the power button on their phone, it sends video but no audio. That means the person calling you can see a video of you or your surroundings as if you’d answered the call. Apparently this only happens when trying to use Facetime group feature, so the company has deactivated Group FaceTime to prevent people from exploiting the bug before it releases a fix. An Apple spokesperson told CNBC , “We’re aware of this issue and we have identified a fix that will be released in a software update later this week.” The bug has folks big bugging and paranoid about FT’ing people now. Wale tweeted, “I never liked FaceTime… jus text me an I’ll see u when I see you Slim”. I never liked FaceTime… jus text me an I’ll see u when I see you Slim — Wale (@Wale) January 29, 2019 Another Apple user pointed out, “So are you telling me that my friends will hear me talk about how much I hate them and how their calls annoy me before I answer and be a fake bitch.” Pretty much sis. Luckily Apple has opted to fix the issue before it got way out of hand. As Brizz Rodsteen pointed out, “Imagine doing that FaceTime trick on ya queen cuz she won’t answer and you hear her getting them cheeks clapped. Boy that shit is VERY unsafe.” @TrvpCharlie made a good point too, “Good thing the #facetime bug is only for audio. Imagine ignoring someone’s FT and they text you “woooooow, you just gonna watch me call you with your crooked ass wig?!” Ironically, lots of communication issues could arise in relationships thanks to the bug. Apple, let’s get it right.
