Sasha Grey Works A Tight Dress

I’m a little torn here, now that Sasha Grey has had a short stint on Entourage I don’t know wether to treat her as a serious actress working to improve her craft, or as chick who really likes getting nailed in the cornhole on film. It’s quite a dilemma. Anyhow, here she is hosting something called A Seductive Evening at some nightclub in Las Vegas over the weekend. I’m not buying it, we all know who you really are princess.

More Laurie Cholewa Bikini Pictures

This one is for all you Frenchmen out there, here’s French TV personality Laurie Cholewa hanging out on the beach in her bikini top the other day. I still don’t have a clue who the hell this chick is, but if she’s on French television she must be an absolutely huge star and we’re lucky that this brave photographer managed to get a shot of her through all her security and entourage…. I take it you’re all getting the sarcasm. Good.

Illuminati Hovi Hov Is Getting More Than Just A Milli For His NYE Gig In Vegas

If you couldn’t get a room at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas for their swanky New Year’s Eve grand opening featuring Jay-Z , blame that man right there. Jay-Z is taking up a whopping 50 rooms for the lavish opening of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The star, who’s performing at the event along with Coldplay on New Year’s Eve, has “requested the rooms for his entourage and for his personal security,” a source told us. As a result, hotel managers have had to rearrange accommodations for other important guests. Celebs expected at the bash, produced by celebrity event designer Colin Cowie, include Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Alex Rodriguez, Mark Wahlberg, Kristin Davis, Ellen Pompeo, Kellan Lutz, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Olivia Munn, Emmy Rossum, Jessica Szohr, Mark Salling and Selita Ebanks. Jay’s rep wouldn’t comment, but a hotel rep said, “We are looking forward to welcoming Jay-Z to the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and as is our policy, we don’t disclose details regarding a guest’s accommodations or other arrangements while at the resort.” Fifty rooms for “entourage and personal security”? Maybe Jay’s plotting a State Property reunion… Source

Jay-Z, Kardashians And Other Celebs Hold New Year’s Eve Bashes To Crash

We take a look at the parties hosted by everyone from Rihanna to 30 Seconds to Mars on Friday night. By Kara Warner Jay-Z and Chris Martin Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage Ah, New Year’s Eve. A night for outlandish celebrations, noisy party favors, fireworks, countdowns, kisses and, sometimes, plain-old debauchery. The haters out there refer to December 31 as “amateur night,” referring to the common phenomenon of revelers’ tendencies to overindulge themselves with partying and adult beverages. The non-haters, however, take advantage of the holiday’s merry theme to get dressed up and attend a fancy party. Maybe even a fancy party at a nightclub, hosted by a celebrity. For those looking to possibly rub elbows with a celeb, if you live in or are heading to Miami, Las Vegas or New York, you’re in luck. The soirees hosted by famous faces are a-plenty in those towns. The biggest event in Vegas looks to be the grand opening of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. On Thursday, Florence and the Machine will perform at the opening of the casino’s Marquee nightclub and then on Friday, New Year’s Eve, the party includes a star-studded dinner and performances by Jay-Z and Coldplay. Celeb attendees expected to start 2011 at Marquee include: Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Alex Rodriguez, Mark Wahlberg, Kristin Davis, Ellen Pompeo, Rashida Jones, Kellan Lutz, Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan, Haylie Duff, Nick Zano, James Marsden, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Tim Olyphant, Leah Remini, Tyler Perry, Abigail Spencer, Emmy Rossum, Jessica Szohr, Mark Salling and Selita Ebanks. Other celeb-hosted parties at venues on the Las Vegas Strip include a 30 Seconds to Mars performance at the Pearl Theater in the Palms Hotel and Casino; B.o.B and Bruno Mars at Jet Nightclub in the Mirage Hotel and Casino; Diddy at LAX in the Luxor; “Girls Next Door” alum Holly Madison at Lavo in the Palazzo; Jay Sean at the Bank in the Bellagio; Kim Kardashian at Tao in the Venetian; Nelly at HAZE Nightclub in ARIA Resort and Casino; and last but not least, Rihanna will be at PURE Nightclub in Caesars Palace. Miami features a similarly star-studded list of affairs. Usher, Trey Songz and Miguel will perform at the American Airlines Arena, after which Songz will head to LUX nightclub to host their festivities. Drake is hosting a party at Wall at the W South Beach, along with DJs Sinatra, Phresh and Jacomino. Porn actress-turned-“Entourage” hottie Sasha Grey is hosting a celebration at Catalina Beach Club. Leona Lewis and Natasha Bedingfield will perform at the South Beach Jam on the Sand, where streets will be closed to cars for a three-day party leading up to the Orange Bowl. Kourtney Kardashian will be at Plunge in the Gansevoort South Hotel, and Lil’ Jon will DJ and MC at Cameo nightclub, while Nicki Minaj is hosting an “All Pink Everything” shindig at Mansion with the Harajuku Barbie Dancers. And then of course in New York City, MTV will be ringing in the New Year with comedian Whitney Cummings, a performance by Flo Rida and some fist-pumping action from our very own “Jersey Shore” cast, who will premiere footage from their upcoming new season. Which celebrity would you want to spend New Year’s Eve with? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Justin Bieber Causes Mall Frenzy On Boxing Day

‘Of course i had to join in on Boxing Day….Im Canadian!’ he tweets after hectic shopping day. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber (file) Photo: Jeff Kravitz/ AMA2010/ FilmMagic If Justin Bieber thought he could hit up his local mall on Boxing Day without stirring up a frenzy, he was wrong. When Bieber decided to partake in the post-Christmas holiday on Sunday, hoards of teenage girls took notice … and freaked out. According to Canada’s Record, when Bieber arrived at the Fairview Park Mall in Kitchener, Ontario, the day after Christmas, he couldn’t fly under the radar while trying to shop. “There were vases being broken and people climbing over other people and a lot of screaming,” Bieber fan Taylor Inder told the newspaper. The fan added that there was lots of “chaos” and “screaming, screaming and more screaming.” Bieber first made a stop at a jeans store in the mall and then went to check out sunglasses, when he was followed by hundreds of female fans. Police officers also followed Bieber and his entourage. Bieber hails from Stratford, Canada, near the mall. “I thought, ‘My God it’s a 16-year-old boy who’s shopping; what’s the big deal here?” Sunglass Hut manager Sarah Pelletier recalled about being asked to shut down for the pop star’s arrival. “I was concerned because there were hundreds of girls out there and three police officers at my glass doors, and I’m like, ‘I don’t think this is a good mix.’ ” She explained that she wanted to get him in and out as quickly as possible. “I’m glad he supports his local economy, and he said he keeps some of his money in Canada,” she added. While many Bieber fans delighted at the chance to catch a glimpse of the star, Bieber himself tweeted : “Of course i had to join in on Boxing Day….Im Canadian.” Related Photos Justin Bieber Takes Over The Bodies Of Other Teen Idols Related Artists Justin Bieber

‘True Grit’ Stars Talk Fave Westerns At Brown-Carpet NYC Premiere

Co-stars Hailee Steinfeld and Barry Pepper reveal their gun-slinging genre favorites to MTV News. By Tom DiChiara Hailee Steinfeld Photo: Jim Spellman/ WireImage If the 25-degree temperatures, dirt-brown carpet (in lieu of a red one) and lack of Golden Globes nominations dampened spirits at Tuesday night’s “True Grit” premiere at New York’s famed Ziegfeld Theatre, it sure didn’t show. Taking a lesson from the film’s title, stars Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, Barry Pepper and Hailee Steinfeld — as well as a bevy of celebrities, including “Entourage” star Adrian Grenier, musician John Legend and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani — showed true grit in braving the frigid temps to walk the unconventionally colored carpet. (Giuliani was greeted by chants of “Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!”) And the “True Grit” posse chatted jovially with reporters about the film, which marks a return to the Western genre for “No Country for Old Men” directors Joel and Ethan Coen, and tells of a U.S. Marshal (Bridges) and Texas Ranger (Damon) helping a young girl (Steinfeld) track down her father’s killer (Brolin). When asked what sets “True Grit,” which hits theaters December 22, apart from the rest of the Western pack, Pepper had a theory. “So many of them have so many anachronisms that kind of ruin it for me and pull me out of the period, whereas the Coen brothers are so authentic and they have such a precise vision,” he said. “And the dialogue [in ‘True Grit’] is extraordinary, which is plucked straight from the source of Charles Portis’ novel. So, yeah, this one’s a very special one for me.” As for Pepper’s favorite Western of all time, the actor didn’t have to think twice before responding: “I’d say ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.’ It came out in 1966 and it raised the bar for the Western genre beyond belief.” Singer Legend, en route to what he said was his first trip to a movie theater in months, had a bit more trouble pinpointing his list-topping Western. “Oh, I don’t know — let me think about that,” the “Ordinary People” singer said, eventually revealing that he’s a big fan of “that one with Morgan Freeman,” a.k.a. “Unforgiven.” Meanwhile, Steinfeld, the 14-year-old who’s earning raves for her feature-film debut in “True Grit,” admitted that she hadn’t seen many Westerns before signing on for the movie. “Maybe I can get away with ‘True Grit’?” she laughed. We’ll let it slide. Check out everything we’ve got on “True Grit.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Special Report: STD fears sparked case against WikiLeaks boss | Reuters

The two Swedish women who accuse WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange of sexual misconduct were at first not seeking to bring charges against him. They just wanted to track him down and persuade him to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases, according to several people in contact with his entourage at the time. The women went to the police together after they failed to persuade Assange to go to a doctor after separate sexual encounters with him in August, according to these people, who include former close associates of Assange who have since fallen out with him. The women had trouble finding Assange because he had turned off his cellphone out of concern his enemies might trace him, these sources said. Assange, who was arrested and held in custody by a British court Tuesday, has both admirers and detractors. His WikiLeaks group publishes secret documents from governments and companies, most recently making public a vast trove of U.S. State Department cables between Washington and embassies abroad that have cast a revealing and sometimes embarrassing eye on the inner workings of U.S. diplomacy. Assange's elusiveness may have worked against him in the Swedish investigation, which might well have gone nowhere had he taken the women's calls and not left Sweden when police started looking into the allegations. The Swedish investigation has undergone head-spinning twists and turns. After initially issuing a warrant for Assange's arrest on rape and molestation charges in mid-August, a Swedish prosecutor dropped the rape charge the next day. After this U-turn, it appeared likely that the whole investigation of the 39-year-old Australian computer hacker would be abandoned. Assange's accusers then hired a lawyer who declared he would press prosecutors not only to keep the investigation going but to reinstate rape charges. The case was soon transferred to one of Sweden's three Directors of Public Prosecutions, Marianne Ny, who indeed decided to reinstate the rape investigation and continue the molestation probe. She ordered that Assange should be subject to official interrogation about the allegations. After Assange left the country, Swedish authorities issued a European arrest warrant under which Assange could be detained and returned to Sweden. A spokeswoman for Swedish prosecutors affirmed, however, that at the moment Assange is not formally charged in Sweden with any criminal offense, but is only wanted for questioning. SWEDISH ENCOUNTERS The most serious accusation Swedish prosecutors made against him in a statement on their website is that he committed “rape, less serious crime” — the least serious of three levels of rape charges that are on the statute books in Sweden. Conviction carries a maximum four year jail sentence and a minimum of less than two years, depending upon the circumstances. As described by several people who were in contact with Assange and his inner circle at the time the allegations against him surfaced, both of his accusers are young Swedish women who came into contact with him during a visit to Sweden on behalf of WikiLeaks. One of the women, identified in the British court hearing on Sweden's extradition request as Miss A, was listed on publicity for Assange's Swedish visit as a spokesperson for a group hosting the WikiLeaks leader. People who were in contact with both Assange and other members of his entourage at the time say that the woman at some point invited him to stay at her residence. Assange's financial resources are opaque, but by most accounts he maintains an austere lifestyle, supporting himself on the donations of wealthy and not-so-rich supporters and overnighting in a succession of friends' spare rooms. According to the accounts of Assange's associates, his overnight stays at his erstwhile spokeswoman's residence soon evolved into a sexual relationship between the two. During one of their encounters, the woman later said, a condom Assange was wearing broke or split. Rick Ross Responds To Young Jeezy Taunts

‘If you really have an issue, put it on the table and handle it like a G,’ Miami Don says after Jeezy dis video surfaces online. By Alvin Blanco Rick Ross Photo: Moses Robinson/ Getty Images Rick Ross and Young Jeezy and are not on the best of terms. The two heavyweight rappers, who happen to be Def Jam labelmates, have been immersed in a war of words for months now and the tension seems to be boiling over. The latest in the Ross vs. Jeezy imbroglio was triggered after video surfaced on the Net showing Young Jeezy saying sly remarks about his rival after a performance in Miami. In the footage Jeezy is seen walking the streets of MIA with an entourage in tow. Asked how he feels “about the Rick Ross thing,” the Atlanta MC sarcastically responds, “Where is your favorite rapper at? I don’t see that n—a.” Moments later, Jeezy pulls his shirt up to reveal he has a gun on his waistband. Although he never names the Miami rapper by name, it’s easy to infer the jabs are directed at Ross. The Teflon Don MC was recently in the U.K., where he visited the BBC’s Tim Westwood , and the topic of Jeezy’s rant came up. “Man, I actually got to see the footage of him walking on South Beach, down Collins Ave. and … Yeah, he played himself,” Ross said. “You gotta come across the bridge to Carol City to Lil Haiti, that’s where you get your issues. I mean, Washington Ave.? Give me a break, baby.” Ross continued, “What’s crazy about that is, as you can see on that same footage, when they asked about my name, they still don’t really have a direct answer, and that ain’t gangster at all. If you really have an issue, put it on the table and handle it like a G.” The two rappers have at times downplayed any beef between them. Rick Ross’ anthemic summer hit “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)” name-checks Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory on its chorus. (The leader of the infamous Black Mafia Family, or BMF, Flenory is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence.) But Jeezy’s association with BMF pre-dates his rise to hip-hop prominence. And there was speculation that Ross’ track didn’t sit well with Jeezy, who in turn dropped “Death B4 Dishonor,” widely believed to be a shot at Ross. Jeezy, however, denied it was a dis track. The two MCs are no strangers to rap beef — Jeezy has previously sparred with Gucci Mane, and Ross with 50 Cent. What do you make of the tension between Jeezy and Ross?
