Show featured Cheerios singing her track ‘California Gurls.’ By Jocelyn Vena Katy Perry Photo: Dimitrios Kambouris/ Getty Images While the Super Bowl was cheerleader-less, a super-special episode of “Glee” that premiered right after the big game brought the cheerleaders. During the opening moments of the show, McKinley High’s very own Cheerios put their stamp of Katy Perry’s fun-loving “California Gurls.” So what did the pop star think of it? Judging from her tweet, she kind of loved it. “#GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEE #WEEEEEEEE!” she wrote Sunday night as the episode paid tribute to her colorful 2010 ode to all things SoCal. In the episode, the Cheerios borrowed a play out of Perry’s over-the-top playbook to tackle the bubbly track, which kicked off the super-sized episode of “Glee.” Their performance was a spectacle of skimpy costumes, BMX tricks and sparks-shooting bras that still left Coach Sue cold. So that meant bringing in the big guns — literally. As a solution for her pom-pom ennui, Sylvester scored a cheerleader-flinging cannon as a means to take the squad’s stunts to new heights. This isn’t the first time “Glee” has put its spin on one of Perry’s Teenage Dream hits. Last year, the show included Perry’s ode to falling in love, “Teenage Dream.” It was performed by Darren Criss, who sang the track to Chris Colfer’s Kurt. Perry shared her reactions via Twitter last November around the time the episode aired, writing, “Oh…My…Gosh… this just brought a sweet tear to my eye! Teenage Dream on GLEE makes my heart go WEEEEE!” She later told “Access Hollywood” of Criss, “He’s amazing! I love when any of my songs are remixed or interpreted differently. I just love that. On Sunday night’s new episode of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” months after the cover hit stands, fans saw the reality starlet open up about the shoot — and she was not at all happy about it. “I was naked, but fully covered in silver paint,” she said in the episode about the Mark Seliger photos, according to the Hollywood Reporter . “This artist will put images of architecture and buildings and stuff on top of me so you will see my body shape and the outline, but not actually my boobs or anything.” Talking to her sister, Kim, in tears, added, “I’m more naked here than I was in my Playboy (in 2007). I’m so f—ing mad right now. … She promised I would be covered with artwork . … This is serious porn … you can see nipple.” She added that she was told “nothing would be seen. I feel so taken advantage of. I’ve definitely learned my lesson.” After seeing the photos, Kardashian made a pledge: “I’m never taking my clothes off again, even if it’s for Vogue .” For those who missed the episode, the reality starlet initially cries over the W mag cover before mom-ager Kris Jenner helps her conclude that she’s helping women and that the cover is artful. Despite her claims that she wouldn’t go nude again, even for Anna Wintour, she later jokes that she might — if Vogue calls. While she seemed very upset about the photos, when Kardashian chatted with Ryan Seacrest later on, it seemed that the shock had worn off. “At the end of the day, they are gorgeous photos, and I’m glad I did it, and I love them. Teen singing superstar Justin Bieber is now set for the biggest TV show “CSI” on February on their 17 episode. The title of this episode is: “Targets of Obsession.” On Wednesday CBS announced that Justin Bieber will act in CSI and reprise his role as troubled teen Jason McCann. This will be the debut for singing sensation Justin Bieber where he act on a story based on a kid whose brother had been slain by the last end of season 11 of “CSI.” Now it’s time to wait to see how better the singing superstar performed in the big TV show “CSI” on February.
