The “Black and Yellow” star followed up his breakout single, which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Roll Up.” When he spoke to MTV News late last year, he teased the song as a nod to his favorite pastime — his album is called Rolling Papers , after all. “The next single is called ‘Roll Up,’ surprisingly,” he coyly explained with a laugh. The song, however, is anything but smoke inducing: It’s more of the skirt-chasing variety. “I was trying to be funny, be clever as possible,” Wiz told us recently on the set of the video for “Roll Up.” “It’s for the chicks. It’s for guys to sing to chicks. And it’s just a fun song.” In the clip, directed by Jake Davis (Drake and Trey Songz’s “Successful”), Wiz said he is “courting a female that I’m into.” Instead of real-life love interest Amber Rose, however, the Pittsburgh rapper has his sights set on the female lead in the video, Bad Boy recording artist Cassie. “It’s really, really awesome,” Wiz said of her casting. After being named one of MTV News’ 11 for ’11 celebrities to look out for in the new year, Wiz has managed to put a lot on his plate. He’s gracing the cover of the new Rolling Stone , he’s scheduled to start the Green Carpet Tour next month, and he and Snoop Dogg are finishing up their “High School” movie and music joint effort. According to TMZ , the recently embattled actor was driving in West Hollywood, California, when his car veered into oncoming traffic. A photograph posted on the site shows Arquette lying on his back in the grass with his eyes closed and his hands crossed over his chest. The gruesome description from TMZ reads that Arquette is allegedly injured, “lying on the ground right now — bleeding — as fire trucks are racing to the scene.” Given the developing nature of this report, there has been no official statement or comment released by the actor’s team that addresses Arquette’s current condition. The “Scream 4” actor has had a difficult few months beginning last October when he and his wife of 11 years, Courteney Cox, announced their plans to separate . Since that announcement, Arquette spent time at a rehabilitation facility to deal with alcohol abuse and “other issues.” “Everybody’s worried and concerned about me,” Arquette said during one of a series of revealing interviews with friend and radio host Howard Stern. “I’ve been drinking a lot because I’m heartbroken. It’s really a personal, traumatic thing. … When I drink, I become a maniac.” Arquette had previously revealed to Stern details about his sex life with his ex and his distress over the separation. At the time he checked into rehab earlier this year, Courteney Cox told People magazine, “I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life. I love and support him.”

The Chinese president himself, according to a White House official who recounted the story on Thursday after a formal state dinner the previous night. “The president pointed out last night at the state dinner that his daughter, Sasha, is a very young girl but her class is studying Chinese,” Ben Rhodes, a White House deputy national security adviser, told a video conference with Chinese bloggers. “She’s under 10 years old and they’re studying Chinese, and she wanted to have the chance to practice her Chinese with President Hu.” Sasha attended Hu’s welcoming ceremony on the White House lawn on Wednesday morning with friends and could be seen waving a Chinese flag excitedly as her father and Hu walked around the grounds.
