Martin Short was an interview guest on the ‘Today’ Show in New York, and Kathie Lee Gifford made a big blunder by quizzing him about his wife, Nancy Dolman…who died two years ago. Martin was on the morning show to promote his latest movie, ‘Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted’, but things quickly got awkward when Kathy said, “He and Nancy have one of the greatest marriages of anybody in show business. How many years now for you guys?” “We ..umm.. married 36 years,” he answered. Having no clue about the error, she kept pestering him by saying, “But you’re still, like, in love?” to which he replied with a smile, “Madly, madly in love.” When asked why, he simply said, “Cute, I’m cute.” Co-host Hoda Kotb then interjected, “That is true.” To her credit, Gifford has since realized her mistake and issued an apology both in front of the show’s studio audience and on Twitter, adding that she “felt bad.” Shown here exiting the ‘Today’ studio, Martin seems incredibly composed considering the situation, meeting the press and public with a perfect demonstration of professionalism. Kathie Lee Gifford to Martin Short: How is Your Late Wife?

This clip is just painful to watch. In an interview with Martin Short on The Today Show this morning, Kathie Lee Gifford asked the actor about his kids and their occupations – and then thought she was being complimentary by adding: “And you and Nancy have one of the greatest marriages of anybody in show business. How many years now for you guys?” The extremely awkward problem, however, is that Short’s wife passed away from ovarian cancer in 2010. Watch the exchange now to see how well Short handled the questions related to him and Nancy. Kathie Lee Gifford Interview with Martin Short Gifford Tweeted not long after the interview aired: “I send my sincerest apologies to Martin Short and his family. He handled situation w/enormous grace and kindness and I’m so grateful.”

Demi Lovato Dreams of Marriage, Kids

Demi Lovato is currently judging X Factor auditions and will kick off a summer tour on June 12 in Del Mar, California. In other words: she’s very busy these days. But give the singer about a decade and she’ll be ready to settle down. “I want to be married with kids in 10 years,” Lovato tells the latest issue of Cosmopolitan , which is apparently all about sex and nudity for a change. With what kind of man will Lovato end up? She can’t say for certain, of course, but she does dish on one deal breaker:’ “I know one quality I won’t tolerate: I would never be with a guy who is controlling.” That point of view has to do with the problems has Lovato encountered throughout her teenage years, issues related to depression and eating disorders. She tells Cosmo she felt “relieved” when she was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2010. “I felt relieved when I found out. Like I’m not completely crazy; there’s a medical reason for all of it. It’s a daily thing; you don’t get time off from it. And if I feel myself slipping back into old patterns, I have to ask others for help, which is hard for me to learn, because I really like doing everything on my own.”

The title of Justin Bieber’s latest single is ” Die in Your Arms .” Now we can only hope this won’t be the singer’s fate as he tries to navigate his way through the streets of Norway. Bieber is in Oslo to perform four songs outside that city’s famous opera house – as part of Justin Bieber: All Around the World , a special that airs June 21 on NBC – but crazed followers from around Europe have created a positively chaotic scene that has led police to nearly declare a state of emergency. Justin Bieber Fans Flip Out in Norway With Justin in a secret, secure location, authorities are urging him to hurry up and take the stage so they can then clear the streets – but so far the Biebs has simply responded to the mass hysteria via a Tweet that reads: “…for the show to happen u must all listen to the police. we are all concerned for your safety and i want what is best for u. please listen.” This is far from the first time that overly enthusiastic Justin Bieber fans have caused violent problems. Heck, fans in New Zealand once trampled his mom ! Seriously, people, try to relax. His hair isn’t that adorable.

USA Thrashes Scotland 5-1

For someone who was born in Scotland, I never thought I would ever write that headline! Thirty years after a team of Scots conquered Europe when Celtic won the European cup, Scottish football is a shadow of itself. What ever happened to Scotland the Brave. Against the U.S. in Jacksonville FL, it was Scotland the Weak. Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Champions League Tickets Discovery Date : 27/05/2012 08:27 Number of articles : 2

Dismissing the propaganda-like vision of growth and jobs that is now at the forefront of any and every word from the status-quo seekers that are the European Elite, England’s Nigel Farage notes the hypocrisy of the forthcoming summit’s agenda. The Euro itself was supposed to create growth and jobs and yet it is actively destroying both of those things – more of the same – as the medicine is killing… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : zero hedge Discovery Date : 22/05/2012 16:50 Number of articles : 2

Dancing With the Stars Recap: A Fantastic Finals

Heading into Monday’s performance finale on Season 14 of Dancing With the Stars, it was anybody’s game . Heading into the final results show, it still is! The most evenly-matched final three in history lived up to that billing, finishing within a single point of each other after six great routines. Let’s revisit them all, shall we? William Levy & Cheryl Burke – Cha Cha Cha (DWTS Week 10) Head judge Len Goodman said that William Levy’s show-opening cha-cha was as good as any he has seen in 14 seasons. He got a 30 for it. Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas – Paso Doble (DWTS Week 10) There was no less love for Katherine Jenkins’ paso doble, which Len said was “full of tasty tidbits to tickle your taste buds.” Crickets . 30. Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd – Argentine Tango (DWTS Week 10) Donald Driver fell short – by a single point – in merely scraping together 10s from Bruno and Carrie Ann Inaba for his Argentine tango. William Levy & Cheryl Burke – Freestyle (DWTS Week 10) In the lift-happy freestyle round, William and Cheryl Burke’s tango / samba / salsa whatever earned them a 29 for a total of 59 Monday. Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas – Freestyle (DWTS Week 10) Mark Ballas hit the jackpot with the swing routine he crafted for Katherine, sweeping her (and the judges) off their feet for another 30. Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd – Freestyle (DWTS Week 10) Peta Murgatroyd literally bled for her freestyle. She got knocked in the face by her beefy partner during rehearsal, but rallied for a 29. The scores after Monday’s performance finale, which will account for half the overall scores this evening along with America’s votes: Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas (30, 30): 60 William Levy & Cheryl Burke (30, 29): 59 Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd (29, 30): 59 Yup. Basically, it’s all your votes to decide this one. Who should win Dancing With the Stars?

Usher Slams Tameka Foster in Court, Sheds Tears

Usher took the stand yesterday in the custody trial brought on by ex-wife Tameka Foster – who has accused the singer of drug use and demanded the use of his mansion – and broke down in tears. Usher quoted his ex as threatening: “I’m gonna kick your ass. Bitch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?” and added: “She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her.” Foster herself has admitted under oath that she told Usher “I will f-ck you up,” while Usher said here Tameka hit him and threw a plate of food at his car while he and his unnamed girlfriend drove away. Later in his testimony, meanwhile, Usher responded to photos of him partying in Europe and allegations by Foster’s attorney that he’s an unfit parent by breaking down in tears. TMZ sources say Usher admitted to marijuana use, while an objection was made to the topic of ecstasy – and the artist didn’t give a clear response to whether he had ever been with his children while under the influence. The custody trial continues today.
