Watch Ryan Gosling Make a Fool of Himself in New Ides of March Clip

Whether he is heroically stopping (and then resolving ) New York City street fights, making spooky dioramas for journalists or dispensing cryptic sex advice to paparazzi , Ryan Gosling can do no wrong. This point has never been more clear than in the latest clip for Ides of March , George Clooney’s fall political thriller, in which the actor flirts with a campaign intern (Evan Rachel Wood) whose name he clearly doesn’t remember.

TV Nudity Report: Evan Rachel Wood Goes Full Frontal on Mildred Pierce, Nude Deja Vu on Camelot

Evan Rachel Wood made her stiffly anticipated full frontal debut on Mildred Pierce this weekend, and though the scene was rather dark (like all the nudity on this miniseries- didn’t they have electricity in the ’30s?), fans of the willowy brunette will still find plenty to jerk about. Evan Rachel plays Veda, the spoiled brat daughter of Kate Winslet ‘s Mildred Pierce, and in this episode it was revealed that Veda is sleeping with her mom’s man. After the big reveal, Evan Rachel gets out of bed fully nude, baring boobs, butt and merkin before sitting down at her vanity table, still nude. In other nudes, Tamsin Egerton was a topless vision yet again as Guinevere on Starz’ Camelot . The show has revisited Arthur’s dream about banging Guinevere on the beach in every episode so far, with different angles on Tamsin’s nudity each time. If that means we get to see Tamsin topless every week, then we’ve got no complaints here at Skin Central. See more from the newest, nudest episodes of Mildred Pierce and Camelot after the jump!

Mildred Pierce Is the Film Event of the Year So Far — And It’s on HBO

To my previous rule of “Only Remake Bad Movies, Not Good Ones,” let me add the codicil, “But It’s OK to Remake Good Ones If the Original Strayed from the Source Material.” Because that’s what Todd Haynes does in his breathtaking five-part HBO adaptation of James M. Cain’s Mildred Pierce (premiering this Sunday, March 27). Rather than try to summon the magic that made the 1945 version so memorable (Joan Crawford won a well-deserved Oscar in the title role), Haynes goes back to the original Cain novel to tell a story that fans of the original movie know only in bits and pieces.

Wood Trip: DVD Roundup 3-22-11

It’s a slow week for nudity on DVD and Blu-Ray, with Angelina Jolie keeping her pant(ie)s on in The Tourist , Rachel Ward resisting rackage Against All Odds , and Karin Anna Cheung reserving the good stuff for The People I’ve Slept With . Your best bet for nudity this week is the UNCUT re-release of the raunchy, randy Road Trip Trilogy. More after the jump!

Evan Rachel Wood Goes Full Frontal for Mildred Pierce Remake

Former teen queen Evan Rachel Wood will bare some retro rackage in the upcoming HBO adaptation of Mildred Pierce . Evan Rachel plays Veda, the spoiled brat daughter of hardworking Mildred ( Kate Winslet ). For the remake, set in the 1930s, she made the thoroughly modern decision to go full frontal: “I hadn’t made my mind up if I was going to go full until we were rehearsing, and I was talking to Todd [Haynes, the series’ writer and director] – like ‘What do you think?’ – and he was like, ‘I think we’re going to be chickening out if we don’t just go for it.’” At a New York press event for Mildred Pierce , Evan Rachel said she was encouraged by costar Kate Winslet , who famously sent men rushing to the library with her FFN in The Reader (2008) : “I looked at Kate and she was like, ‘You’ve got to do it. Trust me, it’s so brave. Put a merkin on and you’ll be fine.’” On the topic of her muff flap, Evan Rachel quipped: “Let’s just say, I had to wear a wig because it was in the ’30s, and everything had to look like it was in the ’30s.” Next time, Mr. Skin suggests method shaving. Now that would be giving Wood!

Manson and Wood to Splatter Sisters

What do you get when you team studio fence-sitter David Gordon Green, Lost portraitist Marilyn Manson, and his on-again girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood? The new slasher romp Splatter Sisters , which Green will produce with Manson and Wood starring. “This is a role Marilyn Manson was born to play, and with Evan Rachel Wood bringing dramatic gravity to the ensemble, I have no doubt this will take the horror genre to a new level,” Green said. Good, because I think I’ve got enough doubts for the both of us. [ Variety ]
