Adam Lambert Labels Finland Fight "Childish, Irresponsible" [Video]

He’s already issued a couple statements on the incident , but Adam Lambert sat down with Ellen DeGeneres this week and addressed his fight with boyfriend Sauli Koskinen for the first time in person. A quick refresher: Lambert and Koskinen were both arrested in late 2011 after they engaged in a drunken brawl just prior to Christmas. “We had too much to drink. We screwed up,” the singer told the host. “There were no injuries, no violence. It was more of childish, foolish, messiness… I was a little irresponsible and I think what I learned from the experience was that I owe it to myself, to my loved ones, and to my fans to be a little more adult and pull it together.” As seen below, Adam concludes that his New Year’s resolution was to clean up his act and he now feels “amazing.” Adam Lambert Ellen Interview: About That Fight…

‘Devil Inside’ Advance Screenings Draw Passionate Reactions

Fans report being terrified, but some critics tweet about audiences booing at film’s conclusion. By Kevin Sullivan, with additional reporting by Matt Elias Bonnie Morgan in “The Devil Inside” Photo: Paramount “The Devil Inside,” the latest entry in the found-footage genre, screened Thursday night for special sneak-preview audiences and had the crowds screaming for two very different reasons. Some of the audience members, like Adam Geldres, found themselves shaken up after the screening; Geldres insisted that it was “one of the scariest movies [he’s] seen.” Ashlei Lien felt the same way. After the screening, she told MTV News and said, “I don’t even want to pray, because I’m scared because in the movie he prays …” but she couldn’t finish her thought. The film, which follows a young woman as she travels to Rome to meet with her possessed and dangerous mother, garnered passionate reactions across the board, but Twitter told a different story than the viewers we caught up with after the screening. Passion is not always positive. Soon after the advance screenings ended, critics, who were also in attendance, took to Twitter to share the reactions many of them witnessed. Many reported booing at separate screenings as soon as the film ended. Drew McWeeny from HitFix ( @DrewAtHitFix ) shared his experience from a regular midnight showing. “Wow. ‘The Devil Inside’ is a big ol’ burn. Active booing in the (sold-out) theater tonight.” El Mayimbe from Latino Review ( @elmayimbe ) said that audiences were even more hostile at one New York screening. “Audience at NYC screening were ready to kill the filmmakers if they were in attendance. So they took it out on poor ushers.” SPOILER ALERT The controversy stemmed from the film’s ending, which comes abruptly and, as many people claim, arbitrarily. A title on the screen then directs fans to a website to find out more. Check out everything we’ve got on “The Devil Inside.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Andrew Jenks turns a Twitter war into a civil political dialogue. By Andrew Jenks Andrew Jenks Photo: MTV News DES MOINES, Iowa — If young people can change anything about politics, it’s the way we speak to each other. Whenever I write about politics, I mostly get civil tweets from those that agree and disagree. But sometimes I don’t. Kim Kardashian on Haiti Trip: NOT About Me!

Kim Kardashian is denying a series of celebrity gossip reports that she attended a fashion show and spent a fortune on herself during her recent visit to Haiti . The star took to her blog to shoot down “malicious” rumors about her trip to the Caribbean country, which was hit by a earthquake in 2010, with her mom. She and Kris Jenner traveled there for positive PR to learn more about the charity We Advance, not for a fashion show, which has been rumored this week. “Our mission was to learn more about [Maria Bello’s] charity, We Advance,” she says , “and meet the Haitian people who have made such amazing progress since the devastating earthquake in 2010, and celebrate the women of Haiti.” Kim says they “inspired me more than I ever could have anticipated.” When Kardashian returned, she says she saw “malicious” reports that say she “spent a fortune” on herself in Haiti … and was, like, so offended, because how could ANYONE possibly think Kim would put herself first in any situation? “While my experience was completely life-changing … a very emotional and surprisingly positive journey I will never forget, some have tried to tarnish the motive behind my visit by writing completely ridiculous and untrue things,” Kim Kardashian laments. The fortune she supposedly spent? She says this: “The truth is that I was at the Haitian Artisan Fair, where the amazing men and women who make their jewelry and crafts sell them to visitors to make a living, and I bought some beautiful jewelry!” In the end, she said, she had a positive experience trying to give back. “I have some really great stories and photos from my trip and I’m so excited to share them with you all,” she wrote … and we’re sure she will share them, early and often, in between plugs for various products. Just kidding. Probably.

Since 2003, his life story has been one of triumph over adversity. J.R. Martinez on Anderson Martinez began counseling other wounded veterans, then working as a motivational speaker all across the country before landing a role on All My Children . How am I going to move forward?’” he said. “Thinking you’re completely alone and no one in the world understands or can relate to you, but luckily, I was able to see a side that I can use my second chance at life as an opportunity to help people with their first chance at life.” It’s not often you look at a celebrity and see a true hero among us, but J.R. may be that person. Courtney Stodden Ridiculous Teen Cleavage of the Day

I hate doing posts on this whore. I know she isn’t a teenager…I know she’s in her 30s…I know she has implants…and I know it is just a joke proving how pathetic the American media is….because they cover this shit and bother acknowledging this shit exists cuz the asshole who married her was on a TV show that’s no longer on the air…and instead of letting him fade into the no where he belongs…they make a big deal out of him and his stripper who is loving every second of the lie….showing off her average at best trashy face…and trashy tits….that I can’t believe were clever enough to stage the scandal that’s worked out of her…but that I realize probably stems from all the experience she compiled hooking, role playing, etc. She sucks, so does her tits…but I’m compelled to post it and I have no idea why…..

Jay-Z, Kanye West Throne Show At MSG ‘Unreal’

‘There’s no other experience,’ one fan tells MTV News of the Throne’s first stop in Jay’s hometown New York City. By Nadeska Alexis, with reporting by Rahman Dukes Kanye West and Jay-Z in “Watch The Throne” tour (file) Photo: The Washington Post/Getty Images Jay-Z and Kanye West brought their much-heralded Watch the Throne Tour to New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Monday night after two shows at New Jersey’s IZOD Center over the weekend. After kicking off the eagerly anticipated jaunt last week in Atlanta, the Throne began their trek north, stopping in North Carolina, and now they’ll stay put for one additional show at the Garden on Tuesday night (November 8). MTV News headed to the show on Monday, where the allure of seeing Jay and Kanye run through their catalog of hits at the World’s Most Famous Arena wasn’t lost on fans who filed into the newly renovated stadium for a 9:30 p.m. start time. Sticking to the script of their previous shows, the duo opened up with the WTT bonus track “H.A.M,” but “Welcome to the Jungle” hit a soft spot when Jay-Z spit his line, “Rest in peace to the leader of the Jackson 5.” The reference was especially touching just hours after the guilty verdict in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case was finally passed down. As expected, Jay and ‘Ye performed their #1 single “Ni–as in Paris” multiple times during the show’s final minutes, adding in a mix of Jay-Z’s early hits like “Lucifer” and “Money Ain’t a Thing,” along with Kanye’s “Get Em High” and “All Falls Down.” And post-show, fans who spoke to MTV News were still brimming with excitement. “This is where it all started,” said one excited fan, referring to Jay-Z’s first hometown stop on the tour. “This is where he’s gonna start, this is where he’s gonna finish, so this is the best feeling ever. If you’re a Jay-Z fan — or anybody’s fan for that matter — you’ve gotta see them in the Garden. There’s no other experience.” “It was unreal to watch them together, feeding off each other’s chemistry,” another fan added, after watching Jay and ‘Ye throw it down. “Watching them own the stage like they did — it was ridiculous.” The Throne will perform one additional show at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night before they head to Florida. David Arquette on Dancing With the Stars Run: A Life-Changing Experience

This week’s Dancing with the Stars results were a bit unfair to David Arquette, who did more than enough to stay in the competition at least one more week. But rather than talking about how he should have outlasted Nancy Grace, he’s taking the high road and praising the ABC show for the experience it gave him. It’s easy to see why, given that his seven-week run painted him in positive light, following a rough patch that had him making headlines for … other reasons. After a trip to rehab, a car accident, a separation from wife Courteney Cox, a fling with Jasmine Waltz and more details he’d just as soon forget, he now can. David Arquette on Dancing With the Stars (Week 7) “I learned a lot about myself on this show,” the actor said after he and partner Kym Johnson were eliminated from the hit series on Tuesday night’s program. “I learned a lot about self-appreciation and finding joy in my life and doing things that are positive for me. Kym and I had the best time. We had a lot of fun.” Arquette, who says his votes are now going to fellow competitor J.R. Martinez , is “sad” about the dismissal, but is also looking on the bright side of leaving. “I’m looking forward to spending time with friends, taking my daughter to school, going to ice skating with her, getting to play with her – just sleeping,” he said. “I woke up at 3:30 this morning, just amped up. It’s just so much high pressure and stress. I’m looking forward to that lack of anxiety on Mondays.” Did David deserve to get the boot?
