Aaron Carter is making it clear once again: Hilary Duff is the love of his life. After pining for Duff via Twitter last month – telling followers not to act like a “stupid douche” as he did in the past with his ex-girlfriend – Carter told Entertainment Tonight that he “absolutely” still adores his former flame. “I don’t know who she is today, she doesn’t know who I am today,” the singer said. “But I would sweep her off her feet if I ever got a chance to again and fix what I did wrong.” Duff, of course, announced her split from Mike Comrie in January and is now back on the market. The actress never replied to Carter’s previous public declaration (which featured him saying “I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her”), but that’s okay with the boy bander. “That wasn’t meant for the media or anybody like that… I didn’t think about it really,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m sure she got the message.” Carter concluded: “I’m not gonna give up on Hilary… ever.” Pretty romantic, really, don’t you think?
