Yesterday, it was reported that Bobbi Kristina Brown will be taken off of life support some time in the next few days. While her father, Bobby Brown, is delaying the decision for as long as possible, it seems that a tragic end to Bobbi Kristina’s story is now inevitable. TMZ cameras caught up with Oprah Winfrey last night and shared the sad update with the talk show queen. Amy Pascal Steps Down as Head of Sony Pictures in Wake of The Interview Hacking Scandal

Amy Pascal announced today that she will resign from her post as head of Sony Pictures, effective immediately. Often cited as the movie industry’s top female executive, Pascal has been with Sony since 1996. Her departure comes on the heels of the Sony hacking scandal that was sparked by the release of the controversial Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy, The Interview. Pascal’s resignation might be viewed by some as another cyber warfare victory for the North Korean group responsible for the hacks. However, it’s worth noting that in lieu of renewing her contract, Pascal has signed a production deal with Sony that will have her helming some of the studio’s biggest projects over the next four years. In all likelihood, her resignation is just an attempt by Pascal and Sony to distance themselves from one another in the public’s eye. In addition to being involved in the exchange of the now-infamous racist Barack Obama emails , Pascal was widely criticized for her handling of the hacking scandal. She was at least partially responsible for the decision to pull The Interview from theaters , a move that many regarded as a cowardly concession to the terrorists that may have set a dangerous precedent. While we may never know why exactly Pascal chose to jump ship just as the dust from the hacking scandal has conveniently settled, it seems fairly obvious that this major move would not be taking place, were it not for the efforts of North Korean hackers. 9 Things We Learned From the Sony Hacking Scandal 1. New Ghostbusters Cast Revealed! The sad story of Bobbi Kristina Brown may soon reach a tragic conclusion, as sources close to the situation say Bobbi Kristina will be taken off of life support some time within the next week. It’s impossible to make sense of why a beautiful, beloved, well-off 21-year-old with a blossoming music career would set off on the same self-destructive path that claimed her mother’s life, but one insider says those who know Bobbi best had long feared for her health and well-being. “Her self-destruction went from zero to one hundred the day her mother died,” says the source. The unidentified insider adds that the death of Whitney Houston was the beginning of the end for Bobbi, as they’d shared an unusually close bond since she was a child: “Whitney shared too much information about the marriage with Bobbi. It made Bobbi gravitate more toward Whitney’s feelings and that’s why she grew to resent Bobby.” The source says Bobby and Whitney’s troubled marriage profoundly influenced the relationship between Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon : “In Bobbi’s mind, [she and Gordon] were Bonnie and Clyde against the world, high and happy, eerily similar to the relationship Whitney had with Bobbi. For Bobbi, that was the ultimate utopia. Robyn Lawley Becomes First Plus-Size Model in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue History

Robyn Lawley will appear in Sports Illustrated in a bikini from her own line, and in doing so, is the first plus-size model to grace the iconic swimsuit issue. The 25-year-old Australian, who wears a U.S. size 12, responded to her inclusion in the magazine by saying, “I’m so excited, I’m dying … I’m dying!” Even though statistics show the average American woman is a size 14, a size 12 typically qualifies Robyn as plus-size in the fashion industry. She says she doesn’t like to focus on labels, but Robyn Lawley is officially the most curvy of any SI swimsuit model in its history in any case. “I don’t know if I consider myself plus-size or not,” she says. “I just consider myself a model because I’m trying to help women in general accept their bodies. ” MJ Day, assistant managing editor of Sports Illustrated, says Lawley had been on her radar for years, regardless of the “plus size” buzz she generates. “She sort of embodies the classic SI girl,” Day says of Robyn. “She’s interesting, she’s beautiful, she has an incredible body, and I felt that she would make a great addition to the issue … it was simple as that.” This approach by Day is in line with the recent movement to integrate of models of varying body types into commercial and high fashion campaigns. Lawley has graced the cover of Vogue Italia and Cosmopolitan Australia, and shot ads for Ralph Lauren, Chantelle and Barneys in recent years. Even so, she didn’t think Sports Illustrated was a possibility. “I never thought that this would happen to me, so this is a milestone,” says Lawley, regardless of whether you consider a size 12 to be plus size or not. “When I started my career 10 years ago, I had to painfully go to castings and people would look at you and say, ‘What the hell are you doing here?'” “I want to be there for the regular girls who are my size.” Last year, Lawley appeared in a viral campaign for plus-size swimwear line SwimsuitsForAll, which re-imagined SI swimsuit spreads with plus-size models. What a difference a year makes. SwimsuitsForAll will have an ad in the new SI swimsuit issue featuring size 16 model Ashley Graham , who is even curvier in a bikini than Lawley. Hannah Davis will cover the SI swimsuit issue for 2015, which is scheduled to hit newsstands nationwide next Tuesday and the Internet one day earlier. Obviously, we can’t wait. Now that the reports of Bruce Jenner’s sex change have been confirmed , there are a few major questions remaining: The big one that’s on a lot of people’s minds: Is Jenner still attracted to women ? After all, the Olympian-turned-reality-star has been married to three women and fathered six kids. He clearly loves the ladies. But will that change after his transition? One insider close to Bruce says the answer is no. Apparently, Bruce’s sex life will stay just the way it is  – nonexistent! “Bruce is not gay,” the source tells Radar Online. “He did not have sex with men while he was Kris and he does not have sex with men now. But Bruce is not going through this transition to be a lesbian either. Sex is the farthest thing from Bruce’s mind right now.” You’d think as a man who’s going through a sex change using money from an empire that was built on a sex tape, sex would be on Bruce’s mind quite a bit, but apparently that’s not the case. Dear Bossip: I’m A Virgin And I Feel Like I’m Missing Out On Life

Dear Bossip , I am a female and I am a virgin. However, I am VERY anxious to lose my virginity. I will be 21 years old soon, and I feel like I am missing out on life. I was a nerd in high school who came from a sheltered background. My life is fairly BORING! Normally when I am talking to a guy, he is quick to jump straight to sex. I do not like to mention that “fun fact” about me because 80% of the time men will become weirdly obsessed with my virginity. That 20% will get turned off completely and disappear. Sometimes, I do not even have to mention that I am a virgin I must have it stamped on my forehead. The first question that pops into their head is, “Why?” Honestly, I always thought that losing my virginity would be magical; a big deal like in the movies. Not only that, but, I have numerous friends that either became pregnant and/or caught an STD at a young age. Now, that I am getting older I am starting to feel like it’s not that big of a deal. I mean most of my family members have been having sex since they were 14/15 years old, so why not me? I want to see what all of the hype is about! They claim to be very proud of me for holding out, yet, they often poke fun at me. Lately, I’ve been having the urge to rebel and do some really stupid stuff, basically start living life. A few weeks ago I met a guy and we got along great, but he mentioned sex and I told him I was inexperienced. He asked what have I done so far and I told him nothing but kissing. Well, it’s been a couple days and I have not heard from him. Needless to say, he’s gone! I really want to get it over with. Is sex really that big of a deal? – Life As A Virgin Dear Ms. Life As A Virgin , Kudos to you for holding out and not giving in to peer pressure. And, I hope you continue to hold out and not leap out there and do something stupid … like having sex in order to “get the experience of it.” That isn’t very smart, sweetie. Be glad and thankful for the 20 percent of men who have disappeared and got turned off by your virginity. It goes to show that they were not really interested in you, and were not ready to invest in a relationship. They were only looking for sex, and possibly a one night stand. Now, the 80 percent is what you have to be leery regarding. They want to be the first. They want to be the ones who take what is special from you, and trust me, they won’t stick around either. Some men get off on that type of thing. Stay mindful and keep a close watch on these guys. They are not genuine in their pursuits and you don’t want to lose your virginity to someone who will treat you like a one night stand, and you never hear from them again. My advice is to wait until you’re ready. Don’t rush to have sex just to get it over with. You will regret your decision later, and you will regret that you did it with a guy that you neither were really into, or he wasn’t really into you. Your body is your temple, and you should protect it. You don’t have to succumb to the joking and prodding from your family and friends who are having sex, and like you mentioned, they are either pregnant or have STDs. That should be an even greater incentive for why you should wait, and not have sex. You don’t want to end up pregnant by some guy on your first experience, and you certainly don’t want to end up with an STD. Is sex a big deal? For some it is. And, for others it isn’t. We live in a sex craved and sex obsessed society. Sex is sold in commercials, magazines, movies, and on television. They sell sex to make it look wonderful, beautiful, and fantastical. But, it’s not like the movies. It’s not what you see on television or on the big screen. Sex is a serious issue, and in some instances it has serious consequences. The best thing you can do it is to follow your own moral and ethical barometer regarding your body, and who you want to share your body with. I can tell you to wait, and I can tell you that it is great. But, it is you who have to make the decision regarding your own body. And, you should never give your power over to anyone regarding your body. So, wait! Wait for the right guy, and the right moment. Wait until you are ready, and you feel the guy you are with is there for the long haul, and that he really wants to build something with you. Wait until you know for sure and it’s not because you’re trying to prove something to someone. There is no need to rush, and no need to give yourself to someone that you will regret losing your virginity to. When Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her bathtub, the scene reminded many of the fashion in which her famous mother lost her life, and there was speculation that the troubled 21-year-old had intended to commit suicide. Now, Jerod Brown – Bobbi’s cousin and confidant – is revealing that nothing could be further from the truth. Jerod says Bobbi Kristina  did intend to follow in her mother’s footsteps, but only in terms of her music career. “She was excited about what was about to take place,” Jerod tells E! News. “We were all excited…She was ecstatic about her new journey that she was embarking on…She was ready to do this and to let the world see what she was working on.” Jerod adds that Bobbi had finished recording a track called “Guilty of a Love Song” that she was preparing to release in the weeks before her accident. “That record was going to touch the world,” Jerod says. “To her, it was a very personal song of what her love life was about.” It may be discouraging to hear Jerod speak of Bobbi in the past tense, but he says she’s “still fighting” and her family remains hopeful.
