Feuds are what make great reality shows work, and if you watch Vanderpump Rules online , you know the series has never been lacking in the bad blood department. But we’re a little concerned that the show’s upcoming sixth season might be lacking the seething hostility that’s made the happenings at SUR so compulsively watchable up to this point. Cast members who seemed to be on the verge of bludgeoning one another with wine bottles are now either burying the hatchet or simply keeping their distance from one another. First, Jax and James Kennedy got along during the Vanderpump Season 5 reunion show , even though the latter is just someone’s pet mole rat who they dressed up in ’90s club douche gear, not knowing he would escape and get cast on a reality show. Then came rumors that Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney are getting divorced , so we won’t have their occasionally amusing/frequently disturbing blow-outs to keep us on the edge of our seats. Now, it’s even being reported that Jax and Brittany Cartwright have broken up , leaving Taylor without a target for his ‘roid rage. As if all that wasn’t enough, it looks as though arguably the most bitter feud in the history of Vanderpump has come to a surprising end. Yes, Katie took to Instagram last night to confirm that she and Lala are now totes besties: “This is a first… but hey, chemistry is chemistry. Also sprang tans are chemistry. Also, hello. Edit: ‘sprang tans’ are a real,” Maloney captioned the post. We’re not sure what the “sprang tans” stuff is all about (sounds like a Tequila Katie caption to us), but it sounds like another VPR rivalry has bitten the dust. Not only are the two former foes posing for selfies, that pic was taken in Mexico, so it seems they recently went on vacation together. A bit surprising considering these two hurled about every kind of horrendous insult imaginable at one another, but good for them. And it’s not like it’ll affect our viewing experience, as Lala quit the show last season. Of course, it’s not unheard of for Vanderpump cast members to quit and be welcomed back (See: Stassi Schroeder), so there’s always hope for a Lala return. We’re all for foes becoming friends, it’s just a little troubling that the entire cast seems to be BFFs these days. If you watch Vanderpump Rules online , then you’re probably aware that the bulk of the show’s most recent season was devoted to planning and preparing for the wedding of Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney. It was an interesting choice from a narrative perspective, as viewers have never been that crazy about the Dueling Bubbas as a couple, but it paid off in the form of gender-bending bachelor parties and numerous cameos from Tequila Katie. And to top it all off, Schwartz and Maloney’s wedding was a genuine tearjerker, complete with earnest vows and a weird scene in which Stassi Schroeder opened up to her mom about crying after orgasms. None of that was enough to make us forget that Tom and Katie have the most dysfunctional relationship since the other Tom and Katie, but it was a surprisingly heartfelt finale from a cast that’s usually more concerned with other throbbing organs. All in all, we wouldn’t say we’re stunned by reports that there’s Bubba trouble going on, but we are surprised that the Schwartzes weren’t able to keep up appearances a bit longer. Reports of Tom and Katie’s struggles come from their mutual “friend” Jax Taylor, who’s not the most reliable source on … well, anything, really, but he’s still creating quite a stir with one of his latest tweets. “What up with your boy Schwartz? Marriage over?” a fan asked Taylor. “Yeah he dipped out of the country,” Jax Taylor explained. “He said f this and left. Apparently going on a poker tour was more important.” Now, it’s entirely possible that Jax is joking. But if that’s the case, he picked a rather strange topic to kid around about. Tom and Katie getting a quickie divorce is way too plausible a scenario to be funny. It’s like joking about Trump bringing about a nuclear apocalypse. On tonight’s episode of Vanderpump Rules we’ll finally see Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney get married . The wedding comes on the heels of a lot of drama, a lot of tears, and a lot of very valid questions about whether or not these two should really be getting hitched. But while we’ve yet to see the Bubbas exchange vows, the public has already lost interest in Tom and Katie’s dysfunctional relationship and shifted focus to a new Vanderpump coupling. We learned last month that Scheana Marie and Robert Valletta are dating , and now that they’ve gone public, the lovebirds are flaunting their romance at every opportunity. Scheana and Robert kept their relationship on the down-low at first, as she’s still in the process of divorcing Mike Shay . Now that the cat is out of the bag, however, they’re making up for lost time in a big way. Will everyone on Vanderpump Rules ever be able to get along with one another? Not according to Lisa Vanderpump, who had some strong words for Katie Maloney on Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 8. Just like James, karma really is a bitch. Jax Kennedy later revealed to Kristen that his supplements had caused him to have cysts in his chest and he underwent a procedure to have breast tissue removed. As always seems to be the case with Jax, he put the cosmetic surgery down to health concerns. Yeah, we believe you, Mr. Taylor. Later, Dayna and Nikolai showed up to help Stassi come to terms with all the drama in her life. Stassi’s brother revealed that Stassi was probably to blame for all of the drama with Scheana, prompting Stassi to reveal in a confessional that her little brother was probably right. Kristen Doute posted a tweet that had many Vanderpump Rules wondering if she is with child. On September 15th, Doute showed off a side-by-side photo with friend (and Jax Taylor's ex-girlfriend) Carmen. Both women were sticking out their stomachs as if they were pregnant. “Mexican food isn't the same without you,” Doute wrote. “@CarmenDickman I feel like I've successfully matched your push-out-pregnant-belly #success.” What's weird is that Carmen doesn't look to be pregnant in any of her other Instagrams, and is a blond, not a brunette. Naturally, neither woman gave any context to the photo. However, Doute did clear things up in a Snachat video later (with a deer filter). “OK, you guys. I'm really tired but I have to set the record straight,” she said before panning the camera over her flat, tanned stomach. “It was a food baby. Goodnight.” Doute, 33, and Carter have been living together since last fall, and signed a lease on a new place this past winter. So, is Carter “The One?” Doute seems to think so. “Totally, no question,” she told E! News back in February. “It's hard to explain. I was talking to my friend Jade [Roper, Bachelor in Paradise ] who just got married, and she told me, 'To each their own. When you know, you know.' “The best thing about him is that he's just very honest and communicative,” she continued. “Our communication skills are spot-on. It works. It just does. “When we met, we just sort of knew on the first sight. My friends love him, his friends love me. If you watched Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 14 then you know that world’s sloppiest cheater Tom Schwartz got caught screwing around on Katie Maloney for the second time this season! To his credit, Tom handles getting busted remarkably well. Both times that he was found out he immediately came clean, and despite some time spent sleeping on the couch, he was eventually able to make things right. It might help that Katie Maloney motorboated a crotch and got away with it. After something like that, how mad can you really get about a couple drunken make-out sessions? Yes, Tom and Katie have been through a lot in recent months, but amazingly, the couple who was once noteworthy only as Vanderpump’s most boring couple, seems to have become stronger through adversity. There are even rumors that Tom and Katie are finally engaged. She was spotted sporting a ring on that finger, but both parties have refused to confirm the news. So while they’re mum on the topic of taking their relationship to the next level (Saving that for a season finale surprise, perhaps?) Tousle-Haired Tom and Tequila Katie will speak openly about his infidelities, as evidenced by their recent Hollywood Life interview: “There was no prior relationship, there was not relationship after,” Tom explains. “I was drunk.
