Jada Pinkett Smith is sick of the talk, the rumors and the innuendo. She wants to make it clear once and for all. “It seems like that happens at least once a year, or at least once every two years: it’s rumored that we’re getting a divorce ,” the actress tells Essence of her marriage to Will Smith. “But no, we’re not getting a divorce. Where am I going to go? That’s my boo. It’s like he’s another part of me.” Chatter about her relationship is not the only personal matter Jada must deal with: she now faces critiques of daughter Willow Smith , whose music career has taken off. “How people feel about Willow is how people feel about Willow. But what I’m most concerned about is how Willow feels about herself,” Smith says. “She’s an independent, courageous, genius, talented little girl. I’m happy for her, that she can just be who she is.” Besides, the 40-year old has more important topics to worry about. She recently started a website – dontsellbodies.org – that focuses on the global fight against sex trafficking. “We’re all affected by this,” she says. “And one woman is one woman too many. We have to extend beyond ourselves.”
