Katherine Jackson may have been found , but controversy and confusion continues to reign when it comes to the Jackson family these days. TMZ sources confirm that L.A. County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the Jackson compound in Calabasas today after family members reported some kind of disturbance. A battery report was filed, but it’s unclear at the moment who was involved. No arrests were made. Sheriff deputies have reportedly been keeping an eye on the family since April because a business associate of the family claims Katherine Jackson is being mistreated by certain relatives. This dispute allegedly was connected to that assertion. Meanwhile, tension has mounted between family members because Michael Jackson’s will left all of his money and assets to his three children and the Michael Jackson Trust. No siblings were listed on the document. When Katherine Jackson was first reported missing , many believed it was somehow related to this feud – and many are still confused about why she had no contact with her grandchildren for a week. It’s all a very confusing situation, which, sadly, is commonplace at this point for the Jacksons.
Nick Stahl, who was reported missing last week, has surfaced. Better yet, the actor is apparently unharmed, and seeking help. Friday, he told friends via e-mail he planned to get help and seek treatment for his substance abuse problem , and now, Stahl’s wife Rose confirmed that he has. The Terminator 3 star checked into rehab Saturday night. According to a source, Stahl apologized for “worrying everyone,” said he wanted to get help and that he was planning to seek treatment in a rehab center. He had not been seen since May 14. The 32-year-old, who went missing more than a week ago, was “really working hard” at sobriety at the time of his disappearance, according to his wife. “He wants to be well,” Rose, who has been estranged from Nick for an unknown period, stated. “He’s a good man and we want him home so we can help.” Hopefully, this means the beginning of his road to recovery. Quite the week for Mark Zuckerberg. The Facebook founder and CEO married his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan in a casual, intimate wedding at his Palo Alto, Calif., home on Saturday. The couple, both 28, met at Harvard and have been going steady for nine years. They got hitched in front of about 100 family members and friends. The wedding guests reportedly thought they had gathered merely to celebrate Chan’s graduation from medical school at the University of California. Surprise, surprise. Just one day earlier, Mark made one of the most anticipated moves in finance history in Facebook’s IPO , taking his company public at last. A company spokeswoman said Zuckerberg designed the wedding ring for Priscilla Chan himself, and it featured “a very simple ruby.” And yes, Zuckerberg made it official and public by, of course, changing his status on Facebook from “In a Relationship” to “Married.” He also shared the cute pic above. Atlanta rap star and actor T.I. has joined the cast of “Boss” on pay cable network Starz starring Kelsey Grammer as the mayor of Chicago hiding the fact he has a degenerative neurological disease. Production for season two begins in Chicago Monday. His part will be in a season-long arc as a former gangbanger with an eye on a political career. According to the story in Deadline.com, “he is the conduit between a local Alderman and the only group powerful enough to function as a grassroots organization in the projects – gangs.” Starz, like other paid cable networks that rely on subscriptions rather than advertising, doesn’t necessarily focus on overnight ratings but more about pleasing its subscribers. “Boss” was quickly renewed last fall despite modest numbers. (It opened at 659,000 viewers, then fell to 319,000 viewers week two. With repeated viewing, the debut drew about 3 million viewers over its first three days.) Grammer won a Golden Globe earlier this year for his role on ‘Boss.” T.I. has acted in three major films: “ATL,” “American Gangster” and most recently 2010’s “Takers.” He is currently on a reality show, “T.I. and Tiny,” on VH1, which averages about 2.5 million viewers a week. So he knocks harder. “Security!” When he hears that telltale giggle, a big grin spreads across his face, and he opens the door and slips inside. Seven years ago, at Lopez’s Vogue shoot, I noticed that Anthony hung around the set both days, drinking cans of beer and chain-smoking Newports. Lopez is a famous teetotaler. How is this going to work? I thought. When I mention this to her, she cracks up. “He’s still doing it! Look, we are total opposites that way. I’m used to that from growing up where I did. The men kind of drink beer and smoke cigarettes, and women kind of like . . . don’t. But those things were not the issue so much. It became about something else. Only in Florida: Police said they nabbed a man accused of taking an 18-year-old woman out on a date while his accomplice broke into her home, stealing $4,300 worth of her property. “She was betrayed, she was set up,” Lt. Joe McHugh of the Coral Springs Police Department told NBCMiami.com. Police said Anthony Maldanado, 18, had a friend rob the 18-year-old woman’s home while the two met for lunch at a nearby restaurant. He was taken into custody without incident on charges of residential burglary and grand theft and taken to Miami-Dade County Jail, where he later posted $4,500 bond, police said. According to police, Maldanado, using the alias “Florenciano Valentino,” met Kelley Galbraith, 18, at a party a week before they went out to lunch at an Applebee’s in Coral Springs on Feb. 25. While they were on their date, Maldanado’s partner broke into Galbraith’s house through a window and stole “several high-value items,” police said. The woman said that before he left Applebee’s, Maldanado stole her cell phone and left her with the bill, police added. Wow. These dudes ain’t isht these days!!!
