Sure, some of them are a little weary of the idea of sitting on some strange old man's lap and telling him some gifts they'd like to receive, but many others look forward to visiting the guy . This little boy we're talking about today, nine-year-old Anthony of Forest City, North Carolina, fell into that second category. On Saturday, he spent the day with his family, getting into so many winter shenanigans. They went ice-skating, and they even went for a carriage ride, before going on a little trip to see Santa. Things started off fine — Anthony sat on Santa's lap, he asked for an iPod Touch and a drone, everything was good. But when Anthony went to leave, he claims that Santa told him to “lay off the hamburgers and french fries.” Poor, adorable Anthony says that Santa “really disrespected me,” and that “it affected me so bad that I was crying until I went to bed that night.” The Santa in question was scolded, and he apologized to the family, but Anthony thinks that “he didn't even mean it.” Check out the super sad video below:
R.I.P.: Former NFL Baller Rashaan Salaam Dead At Age 42 1994 Heisman trophy winner and former Chicago Bears running back Rashaan Salaam died on Monday . He was 42. Salaam’s body was found in the parking lot of a local park in Boulder, Colorado on Monday. No foul play is suspected, but police would not disclose if any weapons were found on or near the body that could have been used to inflict self-harm. The investigation into his cause of death is ongoing, as the University of Colorado says the community is “stunned” by his death. He will be truly missed y his family, friends, and fans. Scott Weiland Scott Weiland was found dead in his tour bus in December of 2015. He passed away from cardiac arrest. 5. Andy Gibb Andy Gibb struggled with substance abuse and died of a heart ailment in 1988, just prior to his 30th birthday. 6. Very sad news today out of the sports world: Rashaan Salaam, a former Heisman Trophy winner and star running back at the University of Colorado, was found dead in a park new Boulder. He was 42 years old. Salaam’s body was discovered in a parking lot at Eben G. Fine Park and a 911 was subsequently placed just before 9 p.m. on Monday, per Boulder Police spokesperson Shannon Cordingly. There were no signs of foul play. But a note was found on the scene and authorities told Salaam’s mother that they believe he committed suicide. The park is not even two miles away from Folsom Field, where Salaam starred for Colorado, winning the most prestigious trophy in college athletics in 1994. That year, he rushed for 2,055 and 24 touchdowns and also won the Walter Camp and Doak Walker awards. He was selected in the first round a year later by the Chicago Bears and would go on to become the youngest professional running back to gain at least 1,000 yards in a season. Following a number of injuries, however, Salaam was out of the NFL by 2004. “The Buff Family has lost an outstanding young man and a great Buff today,” Colorado athletic director Rick George said after learning of the news. “We are heartbroken for Rashaan and his family, and our thoughts and prayers are with them at this very difficult time.” Added the University football team on Twitter: “We’re minus one true Buffalo today.” Several former NFL players also paid tribute to Salaam on social media. “I will miss my Heisman brother Rashaan Salaam. He was always smiling and just a lot of fun to be around! #RIP,” wrote another former Heisman winner, Matt Leinart. Ex-NFL star Chad Brown added: “Beyond saddened to hear the news about my @cubuffs teammate and friend Rashaan Salaam. We lost a true Buffalo today.” Denver Broncos director of player personnel Matt Russell was a teammate of Salaam’s and offered the following statement to ESPN: Rashaan was as dynamic off the field as he was on the field as a player. He was a fiercely loyal friend, someone who was always in your corner and had your back. He was the ultimate teammate and supportive of everyone in his locker room. Back in April, Patton Oswalt’s wife, Michelle McNamara, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 46. Oswalt has openly mourned his wife in ways that have brought comfort to countless others who have experienced loss, and his latest message to fans is a candid and heartbreaking piece published by GQ that addresses the challenges Oswalt finds himself coping with as a newly single parent. Oswalt is father to a 7-year-old girl named Alice, and he admits in the piece that he often feels ill-equipped to handle the demands of raising a child on his own. “I was half of an amazing parenting team, except we weren’t equals,” the 47-year-old comic writes. “But we weren’t equals. Michelle was the point person, researcher, planner, and expediter. “I was the grunt, office assistant, instruction follower, and urban Sherpa.” Oswalt explains that while his wife was adept at using his “OCD to our little family’s advantage,” she was ultimately the planner, the organizer and the oil that made the machine of his family run smoothly. He writes that the pain of her loss is compounded by the difficulty of maintaining a stable home environment in the wake of a seismic tragedy: “I was looking forward to spending my life with the single most original mind I’d ever encountered. And now? Gone. All gone. “It feels like a walk-on character is being asked to carry an epic film after the star has been wiped from the screen.” “I can’t do it. I can’t do it. I can’t do it. I want to tune out the world and hide under the covers and never leave my house again and send our daughter, Alice, off to live with her cousins in Chicago, because they won’t screw her up the way I know I will. “Somebody help me! Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin has confirmed that he and rumored girlfriend Cassie Bucka are indeed a thing. A thing of the romantic sort. Rumors of Javi dating Cassie Bucka first circulated mid-last week, but in blasting pictures to his social media accounts over the weekend? He’s left little room for interpretation. In addition to posting shots of himself with his new squeeze, Javi confirmed for the first time on social media that he and Kail are divorced. Officially. Legally. Finally. It. Is. Over. According to Javi, Kail actually filed for divorce before Javi left for deployment back in 2015; Lowry hinted as much on Twitter as well. As for her reaction to his new GF? Anyway, Mr. Savage is both slightly younger and slightly more popular than Tyga, which would obviously make him an attractive prospect to Kylie. At 24, he’s only five years older than Kylizzle, and with his single “X”, he has a hit that’s approximately five years younger than Tyga’s only successful track. Sources say 21 swooped in around the time of the most recent Kylie-Tyga breakup . Interestingly, sources say his timing coincided with a pregnancy scare. But this hasn't stopped a handful of racist Internet users from freaking out over the Mall of America in Minnesota daring to feature a Saint Nick played by Larry Jefferson-Gamble. Nevermind the fact that Jefferson-Gamble is a retired U.S. Army veteran. He's black! And the response of idiotic bigots to this fact prompted the Minnesota Star-Tribune to shut down the comments section for a simple profile of the mall’s first black Santa. Elsewhere, a CBS Minnesota report was also bombarded with negative and comments, leading us to wonder what the heck is wrong with a certain segment of the population. Kanye West is out of the hospital. But will he soon be out of a wife as well? As most of the free world knows by now, Kanye was just released after nine days inside of UCLA Medical Center. He was hospitalized after some kind altercation with an employee at a gym, which promoted Kanye’s personal physician to call 911 out of concern for his famous client. This incident followed a series of bizarre headlines centered around the rapper, from his claim that he is a fan of Donald Trump… to his bashing of Beyonce… to his cancelation of the rest of his Saint Pablo tour this year. Numerous insiders have since reported that Kanye didn’t merely suffer a nervous breakdown … … but he continues to suffer from various mental issues. What brought on these problems? The most reliable outlets seem to believe it was a combination of two factors: The ongoing trauma of wife Kim Kardashian being assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in Paris in October. The anniversary of his mother’s death in 2007. Sources have said that West never properly dealt with the latter, while he can’t stop dealing with the former, creating endless amounts of stress. Throughout his hospitalization, however, Kanye could count on the support of Kardashian. She remained by his bedside nearly around the clock. But it didn’t take long for the rumor mill to churn and for websites to claim that Kim may have been physically next to Kanye… but it was a different story emotionally. “The trauma of the [robbery] made her more hesitant to do things,” according to Us Weekly, referring to how Kanye had been forced to tour on his own since the armed robbery. “Of course it strained their relationship,” the tabloid added. “Because she hadn’t seen him.” Suddenly, fans were wondering if Kim and Kanye were getting divorced . And it didn’t help when People Magazine confirmed that West and Kardashian are living apart at the moment . It’s mostly a safety precaution, due to Kanye’s mental state, but still. The optics aren’t very good. However, E! News is here to put these divorce rumors to rest. Kanye “will remain getting outpatient treatment till he is fully recovered,” a source told the outlet over the weekend, emphasizing that Kardashian is still closely involved in the rapper’s life. “Kim wants him to continue getting therapy even after all of this.
