Perhaps Jordyn Woods doesn’t need Kylie Jenner after all. The 21-year old model is now excommunicated from the entire Jenner/Kardashian clan after she kissed Tristan Thompson on the lips and then failed to tell his girlfriend about what transpired. Aside from being an inappropriate act, most observers also deemed this to be a straight-up stupid act by Woods because it meant she could no longer live off Kylie, her long-time best friend. Right before the Smooch Heard ‘Round the World, for example, Woods was living in the guest house of the world’s youngest self-made billionaire . Now cut off from Kylie and company, it’s been assumed that Jordyn would have difficulty living the wealthy lifestyle with which she’s grown accustomed. But maybe we were too quick to judge Woods… … or at least her supposedly desperate situation. According to E! News, Woods has been tapped to star in 16-year-old YouTube personality and singer Justin Roberts’ upcoming music video, “Way Too Much,” along with fellow some social media influencer named Sofia Jamora. And it sounds like the cheating scandal in which Woods has been embroiled actually helped her land this unexpected gig. The single is an homage to young celebrities in the spotlight of social media, sources confirm, along with the consequences when fame becomes – you guessed it – “Way Too Much.” Per E!, the video “has a Toy Story meets The Matrix vibe and the women play life-size dolls who are assembled and packaged in a toy factory — and then make a daring escape from captivity.” Sounds… interesting. Filming on this project commenced last Wednesday. We don’t yet know when it will be unveiled to the public. Woods, meanwhile, has started to emerge from a mini hiatus of late. She didn’t say much after her spit swap with Thompson went viral; not until she appeared opposite Jada Pinkett Smith on that actress’ Facebook Watch talk show and opened up about what happened with Tristan. Yes, they kissed, she admitted. God, no, she alleged at the time, they did NOT do anything more than that. Jordyn Woods: I SWEAR I’m No Homewrecker! “I should have gone home after the party. I shouldn’t even have been there,” Woods told Pinkett Smith of how she regrets going back to Thompson’s house with a group of friends after an evening out. She added at the time: “Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him. It’s just, we’re all together, we’re in a group. Never once did we leave the public area, go to a bedroom, go to a bathroom. We’re all in plain sight.” So, what actually went down between Khloe Kardashian’s now-ex-boyfriend and her now-former-good pal? “On the way out, he did kiss me,” Woods has admitted. “It was a kiss on the lips, but no tongue kiss, no making out, nothing. And I don’t think that he’s wrong either because I allowed myself to be in that position, and when alcohol’s involved, people make dumb moves or people get caught up in the moment. But she later softened her stance and blamed Thompson for destroying her family instead. “I know I’m not the reason that Tristan and Khloé are not together,” Woods said to Smith. “Now, this situation may have made it harder for her to want to be with him, and I understand that, but I know I’m not the reason.” At this point, though, that detail almost doesn’t matter. What does matter is that Khloe has at last dumped Tristan, Kylie has done the same to Jordyn and everyone can move on with their lives. For Woods, that doesn’t even appear to be a bad thing these days. UPDATE : Justin’s song and music video “Way Too Much” is scheduled for release on April 12.
