Source: ak_phuong / Getty Details Remain Fuzzy About The Incident A major tragedy happened on Trump property when a window washer fell to his death from the 64-story Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. According to United Press International , the unidentified worker was pronounced dead on Wednesday at the University Medical Center after the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m at the luxury hotel, condominium and timeshare on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s yet to be determined which floor or which side of the building the employee fell from. However, one guy said the worker was trying to swing around the corner of the tower. He was not an employee of the hotel, but a third party. According to the Las Vegas Trauma Intervention Program on Twitter, a crisis support volunteer came to the scene of the accident “to provide emotional and practical support to several individuals who witnessed the fatal fall earlier today.” The golden-glass building opened in 2008 and it’s home to 1,282 rooms according to the hotel’s site . The hotel is the third tallest completed structure in Las Vegas, standing at 640 feet. Trump International officials released a statement about the tragedy: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the incident today. We are working diligently with the owner of the third-party company to investigate the details. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his family.”

On Monday, December 10, Josie Brooklyn Duggar turned nine years old. Though the Duggars are kind of nuts , the story of Josie’s premature birth at such a low weight tugged at the hearts of even their toughest critics. In honor of Josie’s birthday, the Duggar family shared throwback photos of her fight to live. On Instagram, the Duggar family posted a series of throwback pics of Josie. In two of the photos, she is in the urgent care nursery of the hospital. “Josie was born on December 10, 2009,” the caption reads. They remind fans that Josie was born “at 25 1/2 weeks gestation.” She was born about three months early, folks. “And,” the caption continues. “Weighed 1 pound 6 ounces.” That is extremely, dangerously underweight. After a lot of work and a lot of love and luck, Josie survived. “Today is a huge milestone for her,” the Duggar family wrote in their caption on Monday. “She is a healthy, happy 9 year old,” the caption affirmed. They noted that she’s a 9-year-old “that is full of energy.” That is heartwarming to hear. “We are so thankful for everyone’s prayers,” the Duggar family’s caption affirms. Many fans and followers sent the family and little Josie their prayers during her health crisis. “And,” the Duggars continued, they sent their thanks to “all of the doctors and nurses at Arkansas Children’s Hospital that saved her life.” They really beat the odds. “That was the most difficult time in our family’s life,” the captions expressed. “But,” the Duggars concluded. “By God’s grace Josie and our whole family made it through!” As you may recall, Michelle Duggar was diagnosed with preeclampsia just before Josie’s birth. Preeclampsia, which often results in dramatic swelling as the body retains water, can even be fatal for both mother and child. Fortunately, little Josie made it through. Fans who have followed the Duggars for the past decade and beyond still remember Josie’s harrowing fight for her life. “I will never forget hearing about Josie’s early birth,” writes one fan. The follower continues: “I followed your updates so closely.” When thinking about a particular experience like this that is etched into your memory, 2009 doesn’t seem like it was so long ago. “I know it has been hard sharing so much of your life publicly,” the fan admits. The follower concludes: but I want to thank you for showing god’s love through your family!!” That is so sweet and affirming! “I remember when Josie was born and so tiny,” notes another fan. Source: Bryan Bedder / Getty Power Crew Member Dies On Set After Accident While Shooting An extremely unfortunate accident on the sixth season of Power has left a longtime production assistant dead. Pedro Jimenez was fatally struck by a SUV at around 4:30 AM ET on Monday while setting up parking cones for a Brooklyn location shoot for the series. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of the members of our Power family,” a Starz spokesperson told Deadline following the death of the 63-year old Parking PA. “Our thoughts are with Mr. Jimenez’ family as we work to fully understand what has happened.” Jimenez has been with the series since its first day of production when Power debuted back in 2014. NYPD officials say that they are investigating the incident and have spoken to the driver of the 2006 Ford Explorer that hit Jimenez; The driver was also a member of the Power crew. In the midst of the filming for the upcoming season of the drama series executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Power has temporarily shut down production following the horrible incident. This move is of course out of respect for the family of Jimenez, which was informed of his death almost immediately after he was pronounced dead by medical authorities at Brooklyn Hospital this morning. Sources also told Deadline that the halting of filming also will allow crew members and cast on the series starring Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Lela Loren and Joseph Sikora deal with the loss. No cast members were on set when Jimenez occurred, as their call time was not until 7 AM ET, almost 3 hours later. As of now, there’s no word on when production will resume, but a planned holiday break on the show is coming up soon, so the shutdown could go into early 2019.

Producers have reportedly stopped production out of respect for the family and crew. Page Six reports: “The Starz drama Power shut down production after a car crash at a Brooklyn shooting location killed a longtime crewmember early Monday. Filming for the show’s sixth season was postponed out of respect for the family of Pedro Jimenez , 63, and to allow cast and crew time to grieve, a Starz spokeswoman told The Post.” Jimenez was a parking production assistant who’d reportedly been working on the set since 2014. According to the site, he was killed when a coworker ran into him as he set up traffic cones for a shoot on Douglas Street in Cobble Hill. Members of the cast are speaking out as news of their team member’s death circulates. From Naturi Naughton : “Truly shocked and saddened! Losing one of our own really hit home today! Tomorrow is not promised y’all! Live fully today! My thoughts and prayers are with the Jimenez family. #speechless #prayersUP.” From Omari Hardwick : “I sit next to my family as I type this post of a day gone the worst. Started as a regular ole work day for everyone of us. Ironically for me the night prior saw me as part of the special CNN Heroes annual gala honoring local yet worldwide heroes. Following the Keeping Up With The Kardashians finale , Kim Kardashian was a guest on Busy Tonight . One of the many subjects that she and Busy Philipps addressed was Kim's controversial visit to the White House. She also talks about doing ecstasy and reveals what she knows about whether Kylie and Travis Scott are married. Right after Kim comes out to speak to her longtime friend Busy, she acknowledges that her plunging neckline is a little conspicuous. “Your boobs are kind of always hanging out, Kim,” Busy points out. Apart from a brief aside about using obscenities in front of their children (they both do it), they talk about a major part of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians finale. They talk about Kim's trip to the White House to meet with Donald Trump. Kim knew that meeting with the most hated man in the world would be controversial, but she did it to send Alice Johnson home. “I just thought, you know what? Everyone talks shit about me all day long anyway, I'm gonna go and not worry about what people say about me,” Kim explains. Alice is a grandmother who was serving a life sentence for a non-violent drug offense, because our justice system is often unjust. Kim decided that earning a little ire by kissing the orange man's boot was worth it. “I'm gonna go and do the thing that I feel like is the right thing to do,” Kim continues. “And I'm gonna talk to the person who has the most power to make this decision,” Kim affirms. “The only person.” Trump is the only person who currently has the power to pardon people for federal offenses. She says that, despite Trump's desire to appear “tough on crime,” he eventually came around to see things her way. “I'm very grateful to the president for helping us out with this issue,” Kim says. “I might not agree with the policies, but I stay focused on this subject,” she continues. If you want to influence powerful, petty people, sometimes it's best to bite your tongue. “Snd for me,” Kim says. “It wasn't about politics. It was really about people and her.” Trump is famously a bobblehead — that is, someone who seems to agree with whoever spoke to him last. That means that, sometimes, he can be pursuaded to do the right thing. It's great that Kim was able to use his fondness for being liked to do some good. Kanye's outspoken support of Donald Trump has been deeply controversial. Kim characterizes that as Kanye wanting the “freedom” to like Trump. It sounds like Kanye is confused — because he is already free to like Trump. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences, however. On a very different and thankfully less political subject, Kim talks to Busy about her recent admission to having used ecstasy. “People that were close to me, that obviously know that, that life of mine, they're like, 'I can't believe you said that,'” Kim says. “And I was like, well, I mean I never really hide anything,” she explains. “And if anything, it's just weird to people.” Kim continues: “like I've done ecstasy but I don't drink, I don't smoke weed, I don't, I don't do anything.” “So it's weird to, like, have done that, but I think that I was so young,” she concludes. She also shares that she was frank about it with her mother, and that Kris had worried that she would become drug-addled or even infertile. Adorable. Speaking of Kim's family, she also goes into Kylie and Travis' habit of referring to each other as if they're married. Busy asks if they have gotten married behind the scenes. “I honestly don't know,” Kim confesses. “They're the cutest and I think they're so in love and they have the cutest little family,” she gushes. Kim then answers: “I would say no, they're just being cute and posting that.” But then Kim seems to consider. “They've posted it a few times.
