Earlier today, the former Teen Mom star randomly Tweeted her reaction to Kourtney Kardashian’s second pregnancy , writing: Im shocked Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant again, Did she not learn anything from TEEN MOM? Maybe its a fake pregnancy, like kims wedding SAD . Kourtney, in response, pointed out one of the major differences between her situation and that of Farrah and her MTV co-stars, Tweeting “I’m 32 years old! I may look young, honey, but don’t get it twisted.” Kardashian, of course, is also a multi-millionaire with a large support system… and that’s before you consider E! producers! Scott Disick also jumped in to this Tweet-off, referring to Abraham as “some s-it stain” and echoing his girlfriend’s stance: “We’re not teenagers, ya f-cking moron.” But Farrah was not to be denied! She concluded her rant with: “Guess what! Age and money honestly do not change a person’s poor choice. Quit making excuses.” It’s pretty difficult, but try to choose a side in this asinine feud:
Kristin Cavallari was surprisingly eliminated from Dancing With the Stars this week. She’s taking it pretty well, but that doesn’t mean she’s not surprised and upset. The 24-year-old scored high marks and praise from the judges, tallying 24 out of 30 points Monday. But despite finishing tied for third (out of 10), she’s out the door. “I’m really sad,” Kristin Cavallari admitted. “But, I’d rather go out on top and have people be shocked than be like, ‘Thank god she’s leaving, it’s about time.'” “It was the best experience I’ve ever had. I could not be happier.” As for why she was voted off? “It is what it is,” she laughed . “That’s the thing with Dancing with the Stars , you never know. It’s clearly not a dance competition!” Sentimental favorite Chaz Bono, whose mom Cher vowed to cheer him on in person next week if her son made it, survived despite a second straight week in last. Despite her own elimination, Cavallari is definitely on Team Chaz: “Chaz is so cute! I think he’s great and he tries so hard, and I loved watching him dance every week. It’s inspiring, and it’s sweet, and I hope he does really well!” The week was also a net positive for Kristin. Peggy Tanous, who has been open about her battle with postpartum depression and thoughts of suicide, is no longer a Real Housewife of Orange County. In a Facebook posting today, the reality star resigned from the Bravo franchise. “After months of negotiation and soul searching, I have declined their offer to return to the show,” Peggy writes. “I just felt in my heart that being around the negative energy of certain cast members, being forced to have ‘dramatic’ confrontations and the time it would take me away from my family was just not a healthy path for me.” That’s about as honest an answer as Tanous could provide, especially the part about how Bravo scripts “dramatic” confrontations. In other franchise news, the network swears no cast member is leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey . Oh, Teen Mom girls. You never cease to amuse … or provide tabloid fodder. Amber Portwood swore she’d learned a lesson after spending time in jail and rehab. You’d think Jenelle Evans would have learned something from pummeling Britany Truett . Farrah Abraham? She’s just trying to “find herself,” don’cha know. One thing they all have in common? Giving up their babies to PAR-TAY!!! Amber’s brother, Shawn Portwood, says that despite her issues, Amber is spending more time out partying than she is reconnecting with her daughter, Leah, 2. “At least three times a week, Amber will go out to bars and clubs,” Shawn says. Amber Portwood was spotted at the 59th Street Pub last month drinking wine, then another time, downing beers at Jimbo’s Pub and Club in Anderson, Ind. “My friends were there [at the 59th Street Pub] and said she drank damn near a whole bottle of white wine,” Anderson local Shane Butt reveals to Life & Style . Yes, they named their source, and his name is Shane Butt. Fantastic. “It seems like rehab didn’t help too much,” adds Butt, helpfully. “Amber could see Leah every day, but she sees her maybe three times a week,” laments Shawn. “I don’t even know if Amber wants full custody of Leah.” “She enjoys her freedom too much right now.” One of her co-stars can relate. Farrah Abraham peaced out on her mom and daughter in the third season finale. Because she had to go to school in Florida. At least Farrah has avoided the pitfalls of some of the other train wrecks. Jenelle Evans lost custody of her son to her mom ages ago, and for good reason. Jenelle has always been one to drink and fight, rather than stay close to Jace at night. On last night’s Teen Mom, there were no major bombshells or blowout fights. Just a lot of family moments we can all relate to. Well, for the most part. Clearly, Catelynn’s family situation is unique, while Amber’s entire existence is complete upheaval. But this episode was more about the little things for all. In which case, bravo, MTV. Let’s break down last night’s Teen Mom: “I’m just excited to have one of my stable parents around again.” – Catelynn Lowell. Minus 7 for the fact that the bar is set so low. We’ve arrived at the point where “stable” means non-incarcerated and relatively non-insane. Plus 4 , though, because at least Dave trusts Catelynn’s judgment. Despite not seeing Catelynn in four years, Dave, who’s in Michigan for a job opportunity, proclaims Tyler a “good kid” and seems accepting of his daughter and where she is in her life nowadays. All in all, it could be worse. Plus 8 . “I’m trying to learn from my mistakes, and you can call me anytime and I’ll talk through the night,” he says. “If she loves you and believes in you, then I do. I’d be proud to have you as my son-in-law.” Sniff!! Plus 6 . Farrah Abraham is somehow still on this kick about moving far, far away to go to school, or do whatever it is she plans to do. Somehow we don’t think she can afford these places in L.A., or Scottsdale as the case is here. Minus 5 . “This is becoming a huge waste of time.” – Farrah. Indeed. Minus 9 . Maci Bookout laments that she will lose time with Bentley if she signs up for classes. Well, sure. But education does have its benefits. Like helping you GETTING A DECENT JOB TO SUPPORT HIM DOWN THE ROAD. Minus 15 for even having to say that. “Don’t look at it as something you hate and don’t want to do. Look at it as something that you’ve got to do to do anything else.” – Maci’s mom FTW! Plus 6 . Kyle’s got this, we feel like. He’s gonna see her through. Plus 3 . Also, Plus 5 because at least this put an end to that baby talk . Ryan even did some light bonding with Bentley. Plus 3 . On this episode, Amber Portwood is dating Clinton Yunker ! We remember that guy! This show is like watching a retrospective on THG sometimes! Plus 4 . Gary Shirley tells his brother he and Amber “may not belong together right now,” but he wishes they were together. Makes absolutely no sense. Minus 10 . Watching Leah’s face light up when Amber plugs in the tree is pure magic. Enough to make you forget what a mess they are, if only for a moment. Plus 9 . EPISODE TOTAL: +9. SEASON TOTAL: +1.
Could Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham be making the jump to scripted TV? The 20-year-old single mom auditioned for a part in ABC’s new Charlie’s Angels reboot, and according to her Twitter page, she got the gig! “YAY!!! I MET GREAT people at a casting. & im going to be in the New Charlie Angels movie! Good luck to the other amazing Casties :),” she blogged Sunday, mixing up the fact that the reboot will be on TV and not the big screen. The ABC series — starring Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor — held an open casting call Sunday near Abraham’s Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. home. However, the call was to fill paid extra roles, rather than main character slots. The Miami Herald reports 1,000 locals turned up to the casting call for the revival of the 70s series, set to premiere September 22. Reached for comment by E!
