Mackenzie McKee: My Mom Is FINALLY Done With Chemo!

There was a time when it looked as though Mackenzie McKee would replace Farrah Abraham on Teen Mom OG . Ultimately, the show’s producers decided to go in a different direction, casting Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd instead. But fan interest in Mackenzie and her family remains at an all-time high. Fortunately, we’ve been able to keep up on the latest developments with the McKees thanks to Mackenzie’s social media posts and a recent Where Are They Now? Teen Mom special that checked in on the family. As you may recall, Mackenzie’s mother, Angie Douthit, suffers from stage 4 cancer . Both Angie and Mackenzie have made the courageous decision to offer regular updates during this intensely difficult time in hopes that they might serve as an inspiration to others who are struggling. And this week, Angie was finally able to share some good news with fans in the form of the video below. In the clip, Douthit triumphantly rings a bell to celebrate the end of her intravenous chemo treatments. Angie Douthit Completes Chemo “I got to ring the bell!” Angie wrote on Instagram. “I wore my Wonder Woman shirt because I wore it to my first chemo treatment and thought it only fitting to wear it to my last IV chemo treatment.” She went on to demonstrate the humor and optimism that have endeared her to so many Teen Mom fans over the years: “(Yes, I wore it to school all day too!) I was the first one to ring the new bell that wasn’t even mounted to the wall yet. Ringing the bell signifies that I’m finished with all my rounds of chemo. “Although I’m still taking a chemo pill everyday, I’m through with IV chemo.” Proving once again that she’s an almost impossibly selfless person, Douthit stated that one of her favorite parts of completing this stage of treatment was seeing how happy it made her husband: “Brad and I celebrated last night with dinner at his favorite restaurant,” she wrote. “Watching him be so relaxed and celebrating brought joy to my heart. God has been so good. “I haven’t been very sick from the chemo, I’m still working, and I still have my eyelashes lol,” Angie continued. “It was 18 weeks of being carried by the love of God… I have no control over my future,” she added. “None of us do. But, we can relax and be calm knowing our big God is in control because he loves us so much!” The post is a far cry from the one Angie wrote back in June, in which she opened up about how much she was dreading the chemotherapy process. “This morning we leave at 7:30 to begin another new journey,” Douthit wrote at the time. “IV chemo… As I’ve shared before, I dread chemo. However, God revealed to me that if I never had to go through IV chemo I would never fully understand cancer.” Sadly, Angie is not out of the woods yet, but the thoughts and prayers of millions are with her as she completes her recovery. Vivica and several panelists host “Face The Truth” , a CBS syndicated talk show executive produced by Dr. Phil, and one of their recent guests was the “Teen Mom” star. During the episode, Farrah was confronted amid her mother’s concerns that she’s being a poor example for her 9-year-old daughter and agreed to take a drug test. Vivica herself even seemingly hinted that Farrah could be a cocaine addict by asking, “Why do you keep wiping your nose like that?” After the drug test came back positive for barbiturates, not cocaine, Farrah claimed that producers set her up and used a fake test. “She did test positive for barbiturates,” Judge Mary A. Chrzanowski said. “But that could be a prescribed drug. If her doctor legally prescribed barbiturates for her then that’s fine.” “I don’t think either that’s mine, or if someone switched….I’m so laughing out loud right now. I’m asking you what the hell’s going on?” said Abraham. Farrah’s since slammed Vivica to Radar Online; “I was more disappointed over what Vivica had to do in order to get press for her show,” said Farrah. “You have a fake audience. You attack women. Your advice isn’t even credible that you’re giving someone. “The last thing we need is negativity, derogatory, sex-shaming, sexist behavior and women-hating talk shows,” she added. “If she wants to say I’m trash… I work my a** off! I don’t stop working. That’s way more drive and work than a TV talk show where you do fake TV and cause fake problems.” She also added that her own doctor tested her and her drug test came back clean. (Sure thing, sis!) As you’ve likely heard by now, Bristol Palin will be joining the cast of Teen Mom OG for the show’s upcoming eighth season. Bristol is one of two new cast members replacing the fired Farrah Abraham , the other being former The Challenge star Cheyenne Floyd. But Farrah has become desperate in her efforts to remain relevant as of late, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that she decided to launch an attack against the more high profile of her usurpers. Yes, for about a month now, Farrah has been talking smack about Bristol every chance she gets. And of course, she’s been favoring the old “why are you so obsessed with me?!” card and accusing Bristol of biting her style. Bristol appeared on Jenny McCarthy’s Sirius XM show earlier this week, and the unhinged host showed little interest in vaccinating Palin from the infectious disease that is Farrah:  “Farrah had said something about you, saying, ‘She looks like she wants to be me,’” McCarthy said At first, Palin was sympathetic and allowed for the possibility that she and Farrah have suffered similar mistreatment by the press: “Girlfriend. I watch the show. I kind of felt bad,” she said about Abraham. “I know how it feels to be judged off the bat. I feel like I walk into a room and people just whisper.”  From there, Bristol went into mild shade-throwing mode, stating that she pities poor Farrah for the obvious difficulty she’s experiencing in her post-MTV life: “I watch the show. Maybe she’s just misunderstood. Poor girl, I feel so bad.” When McCarthy directly quoted Abraham as saying, “She’s trying to be me,” Palin finally lost it. “Girlfriend, you could not pay me to want to be anything like you,” Bristol said. “Honestly. Cory Wharton Takes Aim at Farrah Abraham: Thanks for Your Money, Loser!

In case anyone was wondering… … it looks like Cory Wharton will fit in just fine as a member of the Teen Mom OG cast. How can we say for certain? Because the fitness coach is already firing shots at deposed MTV star Farrah Abraham. Speaking to the Domenick Nati Show this week, Wharton – who cable network viewers might recognize from his days on Ex on the Beach and The Challenge – opened up for the first time about his casting on Teen Mom OG. As previously detailed, Wharton is joining the series this fall as the baby daddy (not boyfriend!) of fellow newbie Cheyenne Floyd . Wharton has the opportunity to do so, of course, because MTV fired Abraham several months ago due to her ongoing participation in amateur pornography videos. Does Wharton wish Abraham were still around? Does he yearn to spar with her on air or just interact with her in various ways? Nope, not really, he says. “I could give two sh-ts less if Farrah was on this season,” Cory said during the aforementioned interview, elaborating a bit as follows: “I think it would be great, more ratings, more exposure for us. I could care less. If she’s happy doing what she’s doing, I have no problem taking her spot this season.” And then here comes the shade: “You can pass her check right over here and I’ll be okay with that.” HA! We love it. And we love it even more because we’re guessing Abraham will hate it and respond in some crass manner on social media. Wharton is following a long tradition of slamming Abraham, as Maci Bookout recently took aim at Farrah herself via a recent Instagram caption. It also appears as if Wharton will be following the even longer-running tradition of getting into major arguments on air, considering the way he teased what fans can expect when Teen Mom OG premieres on October 1. “There’s probably be some type of physical fight,” he said in the interview. “There’s going to be lots of tears.” Sounds par for the MTV course. Here’s a closer look at what’s to come on Season 8: Teen Mom OG Trailer: Are You Happy in Your Marriage? Finally, Wharton explained his relationship with Floyd a little clearer. Folks had been under the impression in the past that Cheyenne didn’t tell Cory he was the father of little Ryder until the girl was six months old. But that isn’t exactly how it played out, he now says. “Cheyenne did tell me she was pregnant right away,” according to Wharton. “She told me there was a chance that it could be mine, but it wasn’t really likely because you know, we hooked up in New York. We weren’t really a thing at the time… We hooked up and after that she started seeing somebody else… They were dating. “We didn’t think it was mine beause it was only one time.” Ah, okay then. At this point, however, Cory and Cheyenne co-parent amicably and, as anyone who follows Wharton on social media knows well, Cory gets to spend a lot of time with his child. “Had a fun day at the apple orchard with the family,” he wrote as a caption to the first image above, concluding: “I just wanted to say thank you guys for all the positive comments and messages, I’ve gotten after letting everyone know we are joining the Teen Mom series. “THANK YOU GUYS!!!!! Farrah Abraham Lands Spot on MTV Reality Show … With Her Ex-Boyfriend Simon Saran

It’s been almost ten months since Farrah Abraham was fired from Teen Mom OG . The reasons for her dismissal vary, depending on whose version of events you believe, but whether it was Farrah’s work as a camgirl or her notoriously horrendous attitude that got her canned, the upshot remains the same: Ms. Abraham is no longer a cast member on the show that made her famous. But that doesn’t mean she’s through working for the network that gave her her big break. According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Farrah is currently in her second week of filming for MTV’s Ex on the Beach Season 2. She’ll be joined on the notoriously drama-packed series by her most volatile ex, Simon Saran. The news may come as a shock to TMOG fans, due to the fact that when Farrah and Simon broke up  last year, it was not on the best of terms. In fact, these two took shots at each other on social media for months after they parted ways. Now, they’ll do battle and plot revenge hookups with other pseudo-celebs on the sunny beaches of Malibu. According to The Ashley , Saran revealed his involvement with the show in a recent social media post. And we think it’s safe to say he sounded less than enthused about the experience.  “MTV appearance, f-ck it, why not,” Saran wrote on Instagram this week. In a way, this is a double-reconciliation of sorts for Farrah. In addition to crossing paths with Saran again, Farrah is once more working with Viacom, the network that owns MTV. It’s a bit of an unexpected reunion as Abraham sued Viacom for wrongful dismissal after she was fired from TMOG. Maybe the company decided to throw her a one-off gig as part of her severance package. Or maybe they’ve finally figured out what fans have known all along — obnoxious as she may be, Farrah is ratings gold. Cheyenne Floyd: Teen Mom OG Fans FURIOUS with Official Casting News!

Earlier this week, MTV finally confirmed the big news: Cheyenne Floyd is joining the cast of Teen Mom OG . It wasn’t the first time we heard the idea of Cheyenne, a star on other MTV reality shows like Are You the One? and The Challenge, becoming a cast member on the show. Far from it, actually. The first reports about Cheyenne came out back in June, and word is that she began filming then too , along with the father of her daughter, ex-boyfriend Cory Wharton. Other Teen Mom players have commented on her , and there were even whispers that she’d possibly been let go for some questionable tweets she made several years ago. But despite all of that, there was no official word on her casting until now. So now Cheyenne will join Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, and fellow newcomer Bristol Palin to make the core group of Teen Mom OG. And in case you haven’t heard, the show’s fans are very, very displeased. When the official Teen Mom Facebook page posted the news, the comment section was full of dismay. “Why do they keep adding random people?” one person asked. “These girls were never on the show to start with and shouldn’t be now.” This is a good point because the “OG” in the title of the show stands for “Original Girls,” because Maci, Amber, Catelynn, and Farrah Abraham, the original cast, have been around since the beginning of the show. They were on the very first season of 16 and Pregnant, and despite the significant pay raises they’ve received over the years, they really did struggle in the early days — and MTV cameras documented it all. As another person pointed out, “Can’t be Teen Mom OG if y’all have 2 new people who aren’t even part of the teen mom franchise smh.” It is a pretty big oversight, considering the title of the show, you know? Someone else popped in the comments with some sarcasm, writing “I saw a lady with a baby outside of Target today. She looked to be about 25 yrs old.” “She was fighting on the phone with her boyfriend, so she fits 3 of the key factors. Hurry up MTV, give her a call!!!” This comment addresses several other issues with Cheyenne’s casting, one being that she’s turning 26 next month and just gave birth to her first child last year. Say what you will about Bristol Palin — seriously, say whatever, it’s cool — but at least she actually was a teen mom. Sure, Cheyenne can probably bring the drama , but it feels like anyone starring on a show called Teen Mom should meet that one basic requirement. Lots of people left comments to say that even though Farrah left the show, things could have gone on with just the three remaining cast members. Many said that they’d fast-forward through Cheyenne and Bristol’s segments, and some said they’d stop watching altogether. Quite a few even said that they felt the show should be cancelled at this point. All the Teen Mom Couples: RANKED From Worst to First!

Ranking Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 couples through the years is a challenging, arduous task, but one The Hollywood Gossip is up for. Hey, someone's gotta. If you're a fan of the MTV franchise, you've seen quite a few significant others come and go, while some have been longtime staples. Some relationships have been terrific, while others were (or are) utter train wrecks. Here, we break them all down from worst to first. NOTE: Due to his tragic death before Farrah Abraham gave birth to their daughter Sophia,  Derek Underwood has been left off this list. Also notably absent is Andrew Lewis , the father of Jenelle Evans' son Jace, and a man of whom almost nothing is known to this day. Everyone else, however, is fair game … from the present to the distant past! Who do you think ranks number one? Do you agree? 25. Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers The worst of the worst right here. Even by her standards, Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers were a total and complete disaster … worse than any couple in franchise history. Multiple arrests, massive drug abuse, one long stint in prison and a pregnancy that ended in an abortion tell you all you need to know. Jenelle, who has kids by three other sketchy dudes, would not go there with Courtland. Enough said. 24. Jenelle Evans and Kieffer Delp Jenelle Evans and Kieffer Delp weren’t much better. It’s really amazing that she survived some of these toxic relationships to become as stable as she is today (which is relatively unstable by regular person standards, sure, but much improved). Delp, to his credit, did give us Barbara Evans’ hilarious pronunciation of his name during her frequent rants to Jenelle at least. YA HIGH! YA BOTH HIGH! I SEE YOU WIFF KIEFFAH!! Classic. 23. Amber Portwood and Matt Baier Where do we even begin with this disaster? Amber Portwood’s boyfriend/fiance/Deadbeat Dad Extraordinaire Matt Baier has the dubious distinction of being SO BEYOND BAD for her that we’re ranking her relationship with her high school boyfriend – who she beat on camera – much higher on this list. It’s frankly amazing that Amber and Matt lasted as long as they did, considering how he hit on other Teen Mom cast members, had betweeen 7-9 kids from previous relationships, was never fully honest about his addiction issues, is 20 years her senior, and failed a lie detector test. 22. Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards Ryan Edwards, for a time, competed for the title of the worst of the worst, the absolute lowest guy on the Teen Mom ladder. He’s still battling drug abuse, if you believe his exes (including Maci Bookout). He has made some strides in the parenting department, and is married to what seems like a nice girl in Mackenzie Standifer (more on that later), but Maci and Ryan were not a good match and have feuded for years. Years. He’s got a plethora of issues, too. 21. Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith Yes, Evans is in a league of her own with these winners. This one fathered her second child and is engaged in a never-ending battle for custody of Kaiser. Nathan is no prize himself, of course, so that’s tantamount to a war of attrition. Por Kaiser. This list is not all Jenelle, we swear. Eventually, the couples improve somewhat. 20. Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez dated for like a few weeks, and he wouldn’t even show his face on Teen Mom 2, but they were a couple at one point, and she did have his baby, so … he’s been around a little bit here and there since she had his child and hopefully will take to fatherhood more than it initially seemed. Kail likes to complain that he’s just an “Instagram dad” but at least he’s shown some effort at all, and he and Kail apparently still bone from time to time, so there’s that. Not a healthy or normal situation at all, but he still has so much opportunity to prove himself as this relationship plays out, so here’s hoping. View Slideshow

Farrah Abraham Refuses Plea Deal on Assault Charge: I’M NOT GUILTY!

So hey, remember that time that Farrah Abraham was staying at a hotel in Beverly Hills and then started arguing with other guests at the hotel? And then when a security guard came to escort her away from those poor guests, she flipped out and assaulted him? You remember! According to the security guard and several witnesses, Farrah hit the poor man with her forearm and grabbed his face and shook it. Then, when police arrived, she told them to “f-ck off” several times, which, you know, isn’t great. She was taken to jail and stayed there for a good long while until she was released, and a few weeks later, she was officially charged with battery and resisting arrest. Pretty much from the very moment she was released from jail, she’s been telling anyone and everyone that she’s not guilty. She’s said that she was set up because she’s famous , that she’s being bullied by everyone who claims she’s guilty … you know, just classic Farrah denial. But the fact remains that several witnesses, including police officers, saw what actually happened, and they all agree that Farrah broke the law. So, famous or not, she’s facing jail time. When she was officially charged, the word was that she could spend a maximum of 18 months in jail for her crimes (the ones she committed that night at the hotel, not the ones she’s committed against humanity over the years). Also when she was officially charged, her first court date was set for today. So what happened?! According to a new report from Radar Online, Farrah was offered a plea deal. If she agreed to the deal, then the battery charge would be dropped and instead, she’d be charged with trespassing, a misdemeanor. She wouldn’t go to jail at all, but she’d be on probation for three years, and she’d be required to take 26 anger management classes and do some community service. As part of the agreement, she’d also stay away from the hotel where this whole nightmare went down. It sounds like a pretty great deal, right? You have to imagine that there were cameras at the hotel that perhaps caught some of Farrah’s fit, but even if there wasn’t, police officers probably make pretty convincing witnesses in court. Besides, Farrah is a single mother. Wouldn’t she want to take this deal if it means avoiding jail time, just so she could be there for her daughter? If she had the slightest bit of common sense, she’d agree to the plea deal and be done with it. But, as we all know, she does not have the slightest bit of common sense. And so when she was offered the deal in court today, she did not take it. As her attorney explained, Farrah isn’t into the idea of pleading guilty to trespassing because “She was clearly allowed and permitted into the hotel so there is no reason to agree to that.” But as Farrah herself told the site, “I’m not accepting the offer because I’m not guilty.” “I have gone through a lot of counseling and therapy,” she claimed. “I am also very mentally stable and I have no aggressive issues.” “I can literally submit that to my lawyer, show that to the judge and it would still override this fake offer.” How funny is it that she actually siad “I am very mentally stable and I have no aggressive issues”? There aren’t any official rules on it or anything, but it seems like people with no aggressive issues wouldn’t cause such a ruckus in a hotel that they’d be escorted out by a security guard. And non-aggressive people certainly wouldn’t tell police to go f-ck themselves. As for the “very mentally stable” part, well, there are hours upon hours of Teen Mom footage to prove that wrong , not to mention footage from her other reality shows, plus her social media accounts. But sure, girl, whatever you say. Farrah also said “I clearly had a valet and I was not trespassing. I didn’t batter someone.” “This is just, to me, another form of, again, ‘No celebrity face, there would be no case.'” Does she honestly think she’s so famous that all these people would make up some story about her assaulting a security guard?
