Robert Pattinson Hates on The Twilight Saga, Edward Cullen

Man. Who knew Robert Pattinson despised The Twilight Saga with such passion? We kid… mostly. But in a funny new mased-up video, we watch as the actor discusses this franchise in detail, mocking Edward Cullen as an “axe murderer;” referring to author Stephenie Meyer as “mad;” and making fun of his fictional family for the way it uses Google. Pattinson’s sense of humor is what we all love so much about him, but it’s hard not to sense a pattern here. Watch now… Robert Pattinson Hates The Twilight Saga

Tyga’s ‘Rack City’ Is ‘Beneficial’ To Strippers, Wale Says

‘I’m just happy that I can be a part of a record that’s making so many young, ambitious dancers so much money,’ Wale quips on remix video set. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Ricky Louis Wale, Fabolous and Tyga on the set of “Rack City” Photo: MTV News Radio, music videos, mixtapes and digital presence are all fine gauges of what’s hot in hip-hop, but the set lists at gentlemen’s clubs should never be overlooked. At the moment, Tyga ‘s “Rack City” seems to be the current strip-club crown holder, and now with the remix video featuring Wale and Fabolous coming, the record doesn’t appear to be losing steam any time soon. “I’m just happy that I can be a part of a record that’s influencing and making so many young, ambitious dancers so much money,” Wale playfully told MTV News from the set of Tyga’s remix video in Miami. This past Friday, Tyga gathered Wale and Fab to shoot their portion of the “Rack City” video. On set, the trio joked about how the track keeps strip clubs open for business. “I think it’s important that we continue to make songs like this, because it’s keeping the whole game of … ,” Wale started before completely losing his train of thought. “The cycle of the economy,” Loso chimed in. “It’s very beneficial to so many young women across the country,” Wale picked back up. “The strip clubs are stress relief. Welcome to Rack City!” Tyga just nodded in agreement. “Everything they said,” he added with a laugh. The DJ Mustard-produced track is slated to appear on Tyga’s upcoming Young Money debut Careless World. The song’s original was adapted from the “Grand Theft Auto” series of video games. In the clip, which weaves a campy crime tale with performance shots, Tyga plays an out-of-luck bandit who steals from the fictional Rack City’s underworld boss, Mr. Rose. What are you expecting from the “Rack City” remix video? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Wale Fabolous Tyga

In Honor of Lisbeth Salander, 9 Other Movie Heroines Not to F*** With

If Rooney Mara ‘s fearless turn as Stieg Larsson’s goth-punk hacker heroine Lisbeth Salander teaches us anything, it’s that you should never, ever cross a woman with fire in her heart and vengeance on her mind. But the titular Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is just the latest in a long history of utterly human movie heroines who remind us how ferocious and unrelenting a woman wronged can be. Celebrate the fictional ladies who have helped teach society not to fuck with the so-called “fairer” sex, and let their righteous fury be a lesson to us all during this warm and fuzzy holiday season.

Rumor: Bill Murray Reportedly Shredded Ghostbusters 3 Script In Brilliant Act of Defiance

Presenting the best-worst Bill Murray rumor of the week: The National Enquirer (I know, I know) reports that the actor has finally gotten around to that Ghostbusters threequel script he had been avoiding for months — by shredding it and sending the carnage to Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis along with a note that read, “No one wants to pay money to see fat, old men chasing ghosts!” Fictional tabloid Bill Murray kind of has a point. Boss Is This Fall’s Head Honcho for Nudity [PICS]

When it comes to fall boob tube nudity, Boss is leading in Mr. Skin’s pole. We’re three weeks into the Starz drama’s first season, starring Kelsey Grammer as the fictional mayor of Chicago, and Kathleen Robertson has been nude in every episode so far. This week Kathleen continued her nude streak with a scene where she (once again) has a quickie with a co-worker, this time baring butt in a conference room. Boss has also been featuring some fabulous nudecomers. Laura Coover bared her boob-ers last week, and this week Hanna Ware made her nude debut as as Grammer’s estranged daughter, who went topless having sex with a drug dealer. Also making her nude debut this week is Jennifer Mudge , who went full frontal as the caretaker for Kelsey’s wheelchair-bound mentor. More pics from this week’s Boss after the jump!

Jay-Z And Kanye West Drop ‘Otis’

On latest Watch the Throne track, duo trade bars over soul classic ‘Try a Little Tenderness.’ By Rob Markman Jay-Z and Kanye West Photo: Getty Images Otis is back, Otis is back! The King of Soul may have passed 40-plus years ago, but Jay-Z and Kanye West have resurrected Redding’s spirit on a new track off their highly anticipated Watch the Throne LP . On Wednesday (July 20), Hov and ‘Ye’s “Otis” premiered on New York City DJ Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 radio show , and then spread throughout the Internet. “Otis” opens with a slowed-down refrain lifted from Redding’s 1966 version of “Try a Little Tenderness.” The musical icon wails, “It makes it easier, easier to bare,” shortly before the piano sample is chopped and reworked. As the bass line is ushered in and the drums drop, Jay shouts out, “Sounds so soulful, wouldn’t you agree?” before tearing into his boastful bars. “I invented swag, poppin’ bottles, puttin’ supermodels in a cab,” Hov rhymes before going on about his super-exclusive watch collection. Only eight bars pass before Jay tosses the mic to West, who picks up where his Big Brother left off. “Damn, Yeezy and Hov, where the hell you been/ N—as talkin’ real reckless, stuntmen/ I adopted these n—as, Phillip Drummond ’em,” ‘Ye raps, turning the fictional father from the 1980s sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes” into an actual verb. Another eight bars pass and Jay once again takes over, looking like “wealth” and contemplating calling the paparazzi on himself — he’s that rich. But despite the pair’s status in rap and their platinum success, this is no pop affair. There is no deep introspection, no intricate instrumentation, just a dusty hip-hop loop and street-bred rhymes. At one point, Jigga even threatens to murder anyone who takes issue with Kanye. Perhaps West describes it best when he spits about his “sophisticated ignorance,” and that’s just what Hov exemplifies on his last verse as he seeks political asylum for his murderous rhymes in Cuba. “Welcome to Havana, smoking Cubanos with Castro in cabanas,” he raps before volleying back to the Louis Vuitton Don, who channels Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock’s 1998 hip-hop classic “Top Billin’ ” when he delivers, “Jay is chillin’, ‘Ye is chillin’/ What more can I say? We killin’ ’em.” The Watch the Throne rollout has kept fans confused. With an unconfirmed August 1 release date and no certifiable radio hit in sight, fans can only use “Otis” and the previously released “H.A.M.” to judge what they might expect from the LP. The latter wasn’t very well-received, but if the latest leak is any indication, Jay-Z and Kanye West won’t be relinquishing the rap throne any time soon. What do you think of Jay and Kanye’s “Otis”?
