The Fifty Shades of Grey movie producers have confirmed that its release has been delayed until 2015 , but have yet to address the biggest remaining casting question: Who should play Kate Kavanagh, Anastasia Steele’s BFF? The much-talked about project’s casting is almost complete. Anastasia (Dakota Johnson) has her Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), and his big brother Elliott ( Luke Grimes ) is also in the mix. But no Kate yet. The effervescent college roommate of Ana also forges a relationship with Elliott, so this is a key role. One we still get to play fantasy casting with! Some blonde beauties who would be quality Kate Kavanaghs … Kaley Cuoco. The Big Bang Theory star is vivacious and outgoing , not to mention every guy’s dream girl. Hard to go wrong ever. Amber Heard. A sexy bombshell like Kate, her striking, delicate features and hourglass figure make for quite a package. Plus, she’s talented! Katrina Bowden. The 30 Rock alum looks the part, and could be a lesser-known face than other stars on this list who might overshadow Ana. Blake Lively. Gossip Girl ‘s leading lady is a fan favorite for Kate. Fifty Shades of Grey Movie: Delayed Until 2015!

In a seemingly inevitable move, the release date for Universal’s upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie has been delayed until Valentine’s Day 2015. The movie had been scheduled for an August 1, 2014 release, but production in Vancouver has already been pushed back due to recent turmoil. Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan, who plays kinky billionaire Christian Grey, replaced Charlie Hunnam in the lead role and needs time to prep. Fortunately, he also found the time to pose for EW’s new cover story : The studio insists that the move was also necessitated by the hectic summer schedule that the Fifty Shades of Grey movie was originally competing in. Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters next year, and other studios are moving films from June and July to August to avoid the World Cup in Brazil. “We see this movie as a global event,” Universal chairman Donna Langley said. “The strength of this book is worldwide, so we want to take advantage of women who are invariably on vacation with their families during the month of August in Europe.” Thus, the idea of a Friday, February 13, 2015, release date was conceived. “[We are] convinced that the right thing to do for the movie was to push it,” Langley says. “Even if Charlie had stayed, we still would have been making the date change.” Regardless of the release date and the reasons behind it … new pics!!!!! Victor Rasuk Cast in Fifty Shades Of Grey as …

With the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie delayed a month, the cast is still being built around Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. To wit, Victor Rasuk will portray Jose , the aspiring photographer and classmate of Anastasia, whose close friendship with her pits him against Christian. Of course, we all know he loses out to Grey, the wealthy businessman whose disturbing past has left him with a need to dominate his partners … S&M style. Rasuk was in HBO’s How to Make It In America , as well as Raising Victor Vargas and the Steven Soderbergh-directed Che . He’ll next be seen in Godzilla . Luke Grimes was recently cast as Christian’s brother Elliot, and Jennifer Ehle as Ana’s mother, while Ana’s best friend Kate Kavanagh has yet to be cast. With its new lead, the Fifty Shades of Grey movie will begin production in December. It is still on track, at least as of right now, for an August 2014 release.

Luke Grimes to Star in Fifty Shades of Grey as Elliot: Good Choice?

Luke Grimes has won the role of Elliot, Christian Grey’s brother, in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, filling in another key piece of the casting puzzle. The 29-year-old will join Jamie Dornan as his on-screen brother and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele in the film, which begins shooting next month. Anastasia’s roommate Kate Kavanagh , and Christian’s mother and bodyguard, are among the supporting roles still open in the much-talked about project. Kate and Elliot, of course, must have a certain chemistry themselves. Elliot is described in the books as tall, muscular, and wide-shouldered with curly blonde hair and blue eyes. He is funny, affectionate, and laid-back. He is the adopted, elder brother to Christian Grey and Mia Grey. He is first introduced in Fifty Shades of Grey , when he accompanies his brother Christian to pick up a drunk Anastasia Steele at a bar in Portland. The star of Girls is having a fan girl moment. With Jamie Dornan cast as Christian Grey this week, Lena Dunham has taken to Twitter and made it clear: she’s on board with the selection of this British actor. Very, very, very much on board. “I’m a monstrous @JamieDornan1 fan,” Dunham Tweeted in response to the casting. She then referenced a BBC Two crime drama that featured Dornan as a serial killer and added: “Wasn’t allowed to be attracted to him on The Fall bc he played a sexmurderer. 50 Shades is my big chance… Wait, Christian Grey isn’t a murderer right?” Doran, of course, is taking over for Charlie Hunnam, who was originally chosen to lead the film adaption of this novel… but who then dropped out for unknown reasons. The 31-year old portrayed Sheriff Graham on Once Upon a Time Season 1 and has no major big screen experience in the States. But have you seen these shirtless Jamie Dornan photos ? Danielle Fishel has only been married for a few days, but the Boy Meets World star is already fighting back against critics of her husband and weight. “People are giving me s–t for marrying someone younger than I am,” the star, 32, Tweeted of her longtime boyfriend turned husband, Tim Belusko, 25. “Tim is mature, responsible, loving, & kind. Way to judge people, Internet.” Danielle Fishel Twitter Rant The couple met in 2008, when Danielle was 27 and Tim was 20. Fishel returned to college at Cal State-Fullerton, where she was Belusko’s math tutor. If the genders were reversed, no one would say anything, so the actress has a right to be miffed at that – and we haven’t even gotten to her weight: “Ppl saying I was FAT @ my wedding: u r the worst kind of ppl on the PLANET,” she wrote. “I weigh 107 pounds & am 5’1″. YOU are the reason anorexia exists.” Weight has been an issue long before Danielle Fishel married Tim Belusko. She has said that at one point she took laxatives, ate only iceberg lettuce and threw up. “I was terrified to eat,” said Fishel, who at 16 weighed only 89 pounds. When she collapsed on set one day, she said, “I realized this was not a game.” Since then, fortunately, “I’ve learned to be comfortable in my own skin.” That hard-earned confidence was on display as she told her haters to “look at your own miserable lives and learn to stop judging others on their weight and looks.” “Love and happiness wins again,” the Girl Meets World star declared. “You know what makes dealing with rude comments easy? The first video of Kanye West proposing to Kim Kardashian has hit the Internet. But while we see the rapper down on one knee in the footage , and while we hear the orchestra and witness streams of loved ones rushing the field at AT&T Park to wish the newly-engaged couple all the best… we can’t really make out any true emotion in the clip. Cue Khloe Kardashian! The reality star posted a picture to Instagram today of her and Kylie Jenner “having a moment,” as she wrote in the caption, clearly overcome with happiness during the festivities. Prepare to be upset all over again, Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer fans: According to Variety, Jamie Dornan has been confirmed as the new lead in Fifty Shades of Grey . The British actor – best known Stateside for having portrayed Sheriff Graham on ABC’s Once Upon a Time – became an immediate favorite for the role of Christian Grey soon after Charlie Hunnam dropped out of the production a few weeks after landing the part. Various reasons have been given for Hunnam’s surprising departure – from his meager salary to his fear of the spotlight – but the actor recently attributed his decision to ” some family stuff going on .” Dornan played a serial killer on a BBC Two production titled “The Fall” and also appeared in Sofia Coppola’s “Marie Antoinette.” He’s also a former rugby player who is expecting his first child with wife Amelia Warner. The 31-year old will star in the big screen adaption of E.L. James’ wildly popular novel opposite Dakota Johnson, who remains on board as Anastasia Steele. Sam Taylor-Johnson will direct the movie. Jamie Dornan: Under Consideration for Fifty Shades of Grey Lead?

Here we go again. It’s time to hop back on board the Fifty Shades of Grey casting carousel. With Charlie Hunnam out as Christian Grey – reportedly because he had second thoughts about the type of fame such a role would incur – sources now tell The Wrap and The Hollywood Reporter that Jamie Dornan is a leading candidate to take over for the departed star. Dornan is an Irish actor best known to American audiences for portraying Sheriff Graham on season one of ABC’s Once Upon a Time . Why would he fit the Christian Grey bill? He posed in Calvin Klein underwear ads (below) opposite Eva Mendes a few years ago, so the guy has no problem getting nearly naked. And he’s a relative no name, which may be what producers are now seeking. Fifty Shades of Grey is considered a risky role, one that no established A-lister will take. But the right up-and-comer may be willing to sign on for said risk in order to propel his career. Other names now being bantered about include Alexander Skarsgard, Theo James and Christian Cooke. Justin Bieber Involved in South Korea Nightclub Altercation

Justin Bieber has been involved in another nightclub altercation. A few months after the singer was accused of orchestrating a beatdown outside an establishment in The Hamptons, a DJ named Michael Woods claims the singer “muscled” his way into his booth on Thursday night. According to Woods, there was a disagreement over the music being played and he responded by telling Justin to “f-ck off and put some clothes on.” He then alleges that Bieber punched the DJ’s manager. HOWEVER, the host of this party says Woods is greatly exaggerating. He tells TMZ some words were exchanged between Bieber and the DJ , but no punches were thrown. He also says Justin then got a chance to spin inside the booth himself after Woods completed his set. Bieber has also been accused in the past of spitting in a DJ’s face in Ohio. It doesn’t sound like this is too crazy of a scandal for the young artist, but is it really what he needs right now? Will it harm his chances of wooing back Selena Gomez ?
