Our good sis is basically YOUNG BEYONCE! Also assured to be another box office smash, so she’s got two in one year!”- @constar24 In an interview with, W magazine: “I was really familiar with the role already, and it was great because Jon Favreau gave us a lot of freedom to make it as realistic as possible. JD McCrary, who plays young Simba, and I have such a great connection—it really was like young Simba and young Nala, best friends forever, when we met. It did feel really different from [Broadway]; you’re not in front of thousands of people,” she said. “It was a little bit easier because I could go back and switch something if I didn’t like it. With Broadway, you have to make it look like it wasn’t a mistake.” But besides being a huge movie star now, Shahadi likes to do regular teen things, like go to Sky Zone and hang out with friends at Benihana. She even has celebrity role models that she looks up to, and one of them happens to be Lupita, who coincidentally played her mom in US. Fun fact: for a project in grade school, Shahadi memorized and presented Lupita’s Best Supporting Actress Oscar speech from 2014. Talk about the circle of life. She says she would often knit on the set of “Us, adding. “I love to knit. In my free time, that’s a good hobby that I like to do.” We’re definitely rooting for Shahadi and all her future endeavours. Tamera Mowry Reveals "Encounter" with Jay-Z, Gets Swarmed by Beyhive

From '90s TV star to cohost on The Real , Tamera Mowry has experienced a lot in her life. But when she recently shared an anecdote about encountering Jay-Z and being overwhelmed by his “charm,” the Beyhive pounced. Is Tamera Becky With The Good Hair? We have included the video of Tamera's confession. Before we get into what was said, we just want to point out that it is vital that you watch Loni Love's face as Tamera tells her story. “I've actually met JAY-Z in person,” Tamera reveals to her co-stars on The Real . “And,” Temera notes. “He wasn't with Beyonce at the time, and I wasn't dating anybody and when I met him.” We'll get into that and whether or not it was true in a moment. “You do get like hit with the charm,” Tamera reveals of her experience with Jay-Z. There's more to star power and rumors of a massive penis to the rapper. He has a lot of charisma. Tamera reveals that she was so overwhelmed by the encounter that she said the strangest thing. “I found myself strangely asking for gum,” she admits. “It's so weird! I swear.” None of us know what we would say if we became starstruck. So how and where did this happen? “My sister and I were at a premiere of Nutty Professor and he walked by,” Tamera shares. She continues: “And I was like 'Oh my God that’s JAY-Z!'” “I was like, 'Can I have some gum?'” she confesses. “And,” she adds. “He gave me some gum.” Loni Love wasn't the only one who appeared concerned while Tamera was telling this story. In Lemonade and 4:44 , Beyonce and Jay-Z laid bare their relationship problems, which were largely rooted in Jay-Z's cheating. “I was 23!” Tamera quickly clarifies. “I hadn't even met [my husband] Adam [Housley],” she notes. Tamera emphasizes: “Adam wasn't even in the picture.” So Tamera wants to make it extremely clear that she was not cheating and neither was Jay-Z. That did not stop the Beyhive from swarming all over this video. Any woman mentioning Jay-Z risks being labeled Becky With The Good Hair. To be clear, though, the only thing that Tamera received from the rapper was his gum. G-U-M. With a G. We mentioned that we would go over this timeline a bit. Tamera turns 41 this summer, so 18 years ago, when she was 23, would have been 2001. We assume that she is referring to the premiere of  Nutty Professor II: The Klumps , which came out in 2000. (Yes, we looked that up so that you won't have to and only our Google search history will judge us for it; you're welcome) So she would have just turned 22 when the film premiered. So … Beyonce may have not been physically by Jay-Z's side. But though the timeline of when they first met (he insists that it was when she was 18) is a little murky, both say that they met in the late 1990s. That would have to have been before this premiere event. Which would be a big deal … if anything aside from an exchange of chewing gum had taken place. The beyhive can save their stingers for a more deserving victim, okay?

Winston Duke Talks Jordan Peele, Hidden Meanings In Us and Childhood Beatings

This weekend millions of people will go see Jordan Peele ‘s brand new film Us , which hit theaters everywhere March 22nd. The movie stars Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o along with newcomers Shahadi Wright Joseph and Evan Ross . The movie is all about duality and its a theme that plays out throughout the film. I caught up with Winston, and the kids from the film to give you a glimpse at the making of Us. Like Jordan’s first movie, Get Out , US will leave you with a million and 1 thoughts racing through your brain after you’re done watching it. So during my interview with Winston Duke who plays the father of the family, Gabe Wilson, I asked him when the questions start popping up into his brain, he answered “Immediately.” Winston reveals, “I read the script by myself for the first time, because Jordan, when he spoke to me on the phone, said I don’t want to tell you anything about the project I want you to decide if you want to be a part of it and have all of your thoughts unfiltered through me.” He goes on to stay how after reading it for about 45 minutes he thoughts started running through his head but once he got on set, Jordan invited him into this world, showing him drawings and other artwork from what was going to happen throughout the movie. We also talked about the imagery and meaning behind some of the things you’ll see in the film and what’s important. I also got to chat with Shahadi Wright Joseph and Evan Alex who play Jason and Zorah the kids in the film. Jason got to curse in the film and was scared his mother would whoop him. “I thought am be the same person when I get home or am I going to get whipped out!” The movie hits theaters this Friday, March 22nd, 2019 and take it from me, this is a movie you’re going to need to see at least two times if not more.

Marvel Hints ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Is Going Have Us Emotionally Messed Up Again

Source: Marvel / Disney Since Nick Fury pushed send on his retooled pager, Captain Marvel’s impressive solo debut and most recently, the new Avengers: Endgame trailer, fans have been speculating as to what exactly is going to happen in the epic conclusion. According to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, Captain Marvel’s presence in the April 26 film is not to do what we hope she would. All we want is to see Thanos get a well-deserved fade for snapping his fingers and turning our favorite heroes into blunt ashes and we assumed Captain Marvel would be the one to deliver it. But based on recent comments from Feige, her coming back to Earth is not to save the day but to usher in a new age of Marvel films or a changing of the guard so to speak, for she will be taking over as the leader of Avengers. Speaking with Empire Magazine , Feige confirmed that Endgame the conclusion to the newly dubbed Infinity Saga will focus on the core six Avengers we first introduced so many years ago. He basically reveals that defeating Thanos will come with a tragic cost, so this film aims to be a homage or goodbye to the original Avengers as we know it. We just don’t know whether it will be Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor or Hawkeye that will bite the dust. Hell, it could be all of them for all we know. “People would point out that that Cap wasn’t in Infinity War a whole lot. And Iron Man didn’t really speak for that last half hour because of what was going on. But those characters and all of the original six are very much the focus of Endgame in a very personal and emotional way.” Adding more fuel to the fire, Infinity War  and  Endgame co-writer Christopher Markus also revealed to Empire Magazine that the MCU will be changed following the upcoming Avengers film. He made sure to add the “deaths” we saw in the movie were real and as fans the quicker we accept it, the faster we can move on. “We are in different territory, possibly than anyone’s ever been in before in terms of a movie series. The MCU continues to exist. Who happens to be in it is fluid and evolving things where, because it’s all connected, you can’t reboot one. All the parts have to work together. Things continue, but like life, losses are real, and change is real.” Well, we will have no choice with seven films still in the pipeline including Spider-Man: Far From Home , a Black Panther sequel, a Black Widow solo film, Doctor Strange 2 , an Eternals film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 with James Gunn back in the director’s chair and finally Shang Chi which will be the first movie starring an Asian superhero. So make sure you have your tissues ready next to your popcorn y’all it sounds like we are going to need emotional support after Avengers: Endgame . Now this version of the film’s trailer backed by “Can You Stand The Rain” mixed by the good folks at For All Nerds aka The Fanbros Show stings even more. And finally, the Avengers EndGame trailer with New Edition’s Can You Stand The Rain. You’re welcome. #AvengersEndGame #ForAllNerds pic.twitter.com/Utgaih6NR0 — Thank You Stan Lee (@ForAllNerds) March 14, 2019 — Photo: Marvel / Disney
