The Voice cut four out of these 12 hopefuls last night in its ever-confusing elimination process, but its first-ever live results show was lightning quick and first-rate. Three members out of six each from Team Blake and Team Christina were voted through to the next round by America. Who were the lucky contestants? Team Blake: Erin Willett, Jermaine Paul, and RaeLynn. Team Christina: Jesse Campbell, Lindsey Pavao, and Chris Mann. But wait, there’s one more spot up for grabs on each squad, and the singers had to do their thing again to vie for it! So who moved on and who’s done? From Team Blake, Naia Kete sang “If I Were a Boy,” Charlotte Sometimes then turned in a rendition of “Iris,” and Jordis Unga finished with “Wild Horses.”
We’ve been asking ” Who’s Hotter ?” all this month at Mr. Skin’s Whack-It Bracket , but now that March is coming to an end and all the Madness that comes with it, we have a new (but related) question for you: “Who’s the HOTTEST?” We’ve reached our final round, and petite brunette Mila Kunis is facing off against busty blonde Scarlett Johansson ; but while these two go together like chocolate and peanut butter or lube and tube socks, in the end, there can only be one. More after the jump!
After three weeks of battles, one of these four will take home the MMM title; voting in all Final Four matchups is now open! By James Montgomery Evanescence’s Amy Lee Photo: Getty Images Well, that was intense. After 48 hours of epic Elite Eight battles, we’ve reached the Final Four of MTV’s Musical March Madness . And while making it this far is certainly an accomplishment, there’s not exactly a whole lot of time to sit around and savor it. That’s because voting in our Final Four matchups is already under way, and polls will remain open until Sunday (April 1) at midnight ET. You’ve carried your favorite band to the cusp of championship glory, but can you help push them over the top? Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket! Let’s take a look at the four bands still standing in MMM: true, tourney-tested squads that have survived three weeks of brutal back-and-forth battles just to make it to this point. In a way, they’re all champions; too bad only one will actually be able to call themselves that. #5 My Chemical Romance vs. #5 Green Day My Chem are the champions of the Midwest region, having survived a furious rally from upset-minded Metallica in the Elite Eight (seriously, with more than 600,000 votes cast, MCR won by 400 ). Meanwhile, defending MMM champs Green Day had to stage a serious comeback of their own against Adam Lambert, who led until late Thursday before succumbing to GD’s full-court press. At this point of the tournament, there truly are no easy matchups, and this one, well, it’s going to be a war. Both bands have been put through the wringer, and both know how to win a close contest; can My Chemical Romance finally take home the MMM title (they’ve been in the Final Four three consecutive years), or will Green Day make history as the first band to repeat as champions? All we can do is wait and see … #1 Evanescence vs. #12 Tokio Hotel Speaking of history: Congratulations to Evanescence, the first #1 seed to make the MMM Final Four. They’ve battled hard throughout the tournament, having bested tough foes like Paramore, Linkin Park and Dave Matthews Band just to reach this point. As a reward, they draw perhaps the toughest opponent in the entire field: Tokio Hotel, a band that’s steamrolled their way through the competition. They’ve throttled all challengers and even got revenge (big time) against rivals Coheed and Cambria in the Elite Eight. No two bands have enjoyed as much fan support in MMM 2012, which is why we’re certain this one’s going to be a classic. And not to go out on a limb here, but we suspect the winner of this one may very well be the band hoisting the championship trophy next week. No pressure or anything. Is your favorite band still alive in the Final Four? Help carry them to the championship — or assist in shattering some dreams — by voting now. Polls close Sunday at midnight, so get cracking — we’re so close to crowning a champ! Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket! MTV’s 2012 Musical March Madness tournament reaches the Elite Eight! Voting runs until midnight ET on Thursday, March 29, and winners are determined by fan votes, so if your favorite act is still alive, it’ll be up to you to guide them to glory. The LEAD HOMICIDE DETECTIVE wanted to press charges and was told by the higher ups (His Dad’s Folks) not to… everyone can see what this is: A police surveillance video taken the night that Trayvon Martin was shot dead shows no blood or bruises on George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain who says he shot Martin after he was punched in the nose, knocked down and had his head slammed into the ground. The surveillance video, which was obtained exclusively by ABC News, shows Zimmerman arriving in a police cruiser. As he exits the car, his hands are cuffed behind his back. Zimmerman is frisked and then led down a series of hallways, still cuffed. Zimmerman, 28, is wearing a red and black fleece and his face and head are cleanly shaven. He appears well built, hardly the portly young man depicted in a 2005 mug shot that until a two days ago was the single image the media had of Zimmerman. Police Video Surveillance of George Zimmerman The initial police report noted that Zimmerman was bleeding from the back of the head and nose, and after medical attention it was decided that he was in good enough condition to travel in a police cruiser to the Sanford, Fla., police station for questioning. His lawyer later insisted that Zimmerman’s nose had been broken in his scuffle with 17-year-old Martin. In the video an officer is seen pausing to look at the back of Zimmerman’s head, but no abrasions or blood can be seen in the video and he did not check into the emergency room following the police questioning. Zimmerman was not arrested although ABC News has learned that the lead homicide investigator filed an affidavit urging Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter. The prosecutor, however, told the officer to not file the charge because there was not enough evidence for conviction. Zimmerman said he was heading back to his car when Martin attacked him. His lawyer, Craig Sonner, said his client felt “one of them was going to die that night,” when he pulled the trigger. Martin’s girlfriend, who was on the phone with him in his final moments, told ABC News in an exclusive interview that she has not been interviewed by police, despite Martin telling her he was being followed. The 16-year-old girl, who is only being identified as DeeDee, recounted the final moments of her conversation with Martin before the line went dead. “When he saw the man behind him again he said this man is going to do something to him. And then he said this man is still behind him and I said run,” she said. Phone records obtained by ABC News show that the girl called Martin at 7:12 p.m., five minutes before police arrived, and remained on the phone with Martin until moments before he was shot. DeeDee said Martin turned around and asked Zimmerman why he was following him. “The man said what are you doing around here?” DeeDee recalled Zimmerman saying. She said she heard someone pushed into the grass before the call was dropped. Zimmerman, who had called 911, was asked by the dispatcher if he was following the teen. When Zimmerman replied that he was, the dispatcher said, “We don’t need you to do that.” Martin’s death has sparked protests across the country and prompted President Obama to say that if he had a son, he would look like Martin. Turn the page to see Zimmerman clean shaven and in NO PAIN!

Follow us on Facebook: www.facebook.com Follow us on Twitter: twitter.com Sometimes we forget how young Justin Bieber is, but when he pulls phone call pranks, everyone suddenly remembers. But the poor guys is in some serious eagle trouble over it! Justin Bieber recently sent out a tweet to his 19 million Twitter followers with a random phone number that was missing the final digit and wrote, “Call me right now.” Of course, 19 million Beliebers took that number and ran with it and guessed what the final digit could be. As a result, an older woman named Dilcie and a man named Kent from Texas received the bulk of the calls and want to sue Justin. The clients lawyer says that their patience “wears thin” because they’ve received over 1000 phone calls at “all hours of the day.” Basically they want Bieber to pay for “damages” for his “reckless” behavior. And here’s what they’re asking for: Concert tickets for Dilcie’s grandkids, a Bieber apology, an endorsement for Kent’s upcoming online project and also money for any out of pocket expenses. http://www.youtube.com/v/6ssl0oIUtwo?version=3&f=videos&app=youtube_gdata Read the original here: Justin Bieber Getting Sued Over Phone Call Prank
