Kate Gosselin Leaves Kids With Teenage Babysitter For a WEEK Rather Than Let Jon Watch Them

Earlier this week, documents from a 2010 custody hearing detailed the child abuse allegations against Kate Gosselin . Now, more leaks from the same hearing reveal that Kate has so little faith in Jon Gosselin’s parenting abilities that she would rather leave her six youngest children under the care of a teenage babysitter for a week than with their father. “Recently, Mother traveled with the two older children for six days and left the six younger in the care of a 19-year-old babysitter,” claimed attorneys for Jon.  “Father was available, however, Mother refused to allow children to stay with Father and/or allow Father to stay in her home with her children.” To make matters worse, Kate reportedly instructed the sitter to forbid the kids from having any contact with Jon: “Mother has also instructed her babysitters that they are not to contact Father and/or accept phone calls from Father.” This latest information comes on the heels of Kate being investigated by child services for her allegedly abusive and neglectful parenting.  As we’ve previously reported, Kate has instructed her nannies to spy on her ex and listen in on phone calls between Jon and her kids. There’s no word on if the anonymous 19-year-old received such instructions. Just earlier today new allegations surfaced regarding Kate’s alleged abuse of her son Collin . All of this is unlikely to result in any charges against Kate or any changes in her custody arrangement. It’s just further proof that Kate is a really, really bad mom. Can you blame her ? Phaedra Parks Files For Divorce From Apollo Nida Phaedra Parks is pulling the plug on her marriage to Apollo Nida. Via EOnline reports: The Real Housewives of Atlanta star “has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage,” her rep, Steve Honig, exclusively confirms to E! News in a statement. Last month, Nida checked himself in to prison to begin an eight-year sentence which was issued in July following his guilty plea to bank fraud back in May. This is the second long-term prison stay for Nida, who was incarcerated for six years between 2003 and 2009 for car theft charges. The former couple has two children under the ages of four, sons Dylan and Ayden. The same day that Nida entered prison, Honig issued a statement on Phaedra’s behalf to E! News. Parks “is now putting all of her energy into ensuring the well-being of her two children and making decisions that are in their best interests,” he said. “This situation has put a tremendous strain on Phaedra and her family and she is working hard to bring back a sense of normalcy to everyone’s lives.” Prior to the start of Apollo’s sentence, a source told E! News that he had “been out partying every single night” adding that Nida has “made things very uncomfortable” for the Bravo star. “When he does speak to Phaedra, it’s always about money,” the source said. “He owes a huge debt in restitution and he wants to know if she’s going to help him with it. ‘Are you going to give me money?’ is always his question. He still wants her financial support.” Back in July, an insider exclusively revealed to E! News that the pair’s marriage was in serious jeopardy. “Phaedra and Apollo’s marriage is on very shaky ground right now,” a source told E! News. “Phaedra is trying to keep everything contained and protect her kids.” Meanwhile, following Apollo’s eight-year sentencing, his attorney Thomas D. Bever told E! News, “On behalf of my client Apollo, right now he feels remorse. He thought the judge was fair, and accepts his sentence, although he was hoping it would be less. Apollo is elated that this proceeding is past him and is no longer handing over his head. It meant everything to him that his mother and brother spoke on his behalf. He’s OK, and will get through this.” Phaedra recently posted a picture of a Biblr scripture days before filing for divorce from dirty dog Apollo: The reality star has also been spotted on the scene getting close to Kenny Lattimore at a recent book signing: It was only a matter of time before Phaedra pulled the plug on her shady marriage. As previously reported, TLC is bringing back Kate Plus 8 for a two-part special, which will premiere on the network June 19 and conclude on June 26. Please, everyone, try not to rush to DVR it all at the same time. Kate Plus 8 Clip – We’re Back! Yes, in addition to her summer stint on Celebrity Apprentice, Kate Gosselin is returning to the show that made her infamous, along with her brood. So, what has the Gosselin clan been up to since TLC canceled Kate Plus 8 more than two years ago after a firestorm of drama that would not cease? Just living, basically. And getting iPads. Kate and her eight – twins Mady and Cara, 13, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel, 10 – are a lot older than we last saw. Funny how that works. The special focuses on bringing viewers up to date on all of the Gosselins, how the kids have grown and what the latest is on Kate’s life and career. Viewers will also be “invited” to the sextuplets big 10th birthday, for which Kate plans a super fun carnival-themed bash to celebrate the double-digit mark. Noticeably absent? Jon Gosselin , who is said to be “outraged” by Kate’s return to TLC and hopeful that no one will tune in to watch the special. He also fired a warning shot at a photographer recently and said last season on VH1’s Couples Therapy that Kate can go f–king die for all he cares. Good parenting. Chris Brown really wishes he wasn’t in jail. After getting the rehab boot for the second time in a few months, the singer was sentenced a few days ago to a month in the slammer . With Brown alone for 23 hours a a day in solitary confinement , a source tells TMZ that the singer can’t stand life behind bars. Brown feels like “a caged animal,” the insider says, adding that the star refers to it as “the worst experience of my life.”  In a related note, Rihanna thinks getting her face beaten and bloodied by Brown was the worst experience of her life. What has Brown been doing while in custody? Writing songs and working out, the source says, while telling folks on the phone that he’s been scared straight and will never “f-ck up again.” We’ll believe that when we see it. But there may be hope yet for Brown: he’s negotiating to pay off his alleged assault victim in D.C. in order to make that case goes away.
