The only problem we have with this is the violence she has displayed against others. She cannot become this sensitive about violence now… we thought “she was about that life!” Full Evelyn Lozada Interview On Nightline Look, we know what Chad did was beyond stupid, a btch made move, shows he’s a coward, and uncalled for, but let’s be honest here… Evelyn is known for being a spicy-violent Rican chick who will scrap in a second. So, violent relationships are in her past and she needs to get help herself as well as Chad. We hear he’s an actual woman beater and has been doing this for a while… in that case… she understands now how it feels to be bullied and her feelings are genuine just like ours our in wishing for her safety and for both of them to get help. Evelyn Lozada First Interview Since Headbutting
ABC’s Nightline To Air First Interview With Evelyn Lozada Since Chad Johnson’s Arrest We knew Evelyn Lozada planned on giving ABC her first interview since Chad Johnson’s arrest, but since it was reported that she originally planned to interview with “Good Morning America” reporter Robin Roberts we weren’t expecting to see it until next week. Well, it looks like the folks at ABC couldn’t wait and “Nightline” will air part of the interview tonight with the full interview airing on “Good Morning America” next week. BOSSIP sources say it should be a revealing talk, since nothing was off limits (except of course the terms of Evelyn and Chad’s pre-nup $$$!). Lozada sat down with GMA’s Amy Robach earlier this week and we’re expecting some clips to find their way online any minute now… if “Nightline” knows how to properly tease an eagerly awaiting audience. Will you be watching? What do you think Evelyn will say? Our bets are on this being a real tearjerker.
Come September, Justin Bieber will no longer be his family’s only author. The superstar, who signed a second book deal last month, will soon need to make room for his mother, Pattie Mallette. Her memoir “Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom,” will come out on 9/18/12 and center on her journey from a troubled teen… to the single parent of a global sensation. Referring to others that have suffered through similar experiences – abuse, trauma, addiction – Pattie says of the book: “I want them to see that no matter how desperate their circumstances may be, they can have hope for a better future.” Agrees Jennifer Leep, the editorial director at publishing company Revell: “Pattie’s story is a powerful example of courage and determination that will inspire anyone who has faced struggles in life. She’s living proof that even in the darkest of places, there is always room for hope.” [Photo: WENN.com]
Whitney Houston may have died unexpectedly on February 11, but the singer at least had the good fortune to plan ahead. In a 19-page document obtained by Inside Edition , it’s revealed that Whitney left absolutely everything to her teenage daughter. This includes personal wealth, furniture, clothing jewelry and cars. The money will be placed in a trust – with Whitney’s mother, Cissy, serving as executor – until Bobbi Kristina, who turned 19 on March 4, is 21 years old. She then gets more cash when she turns 25 and the rest when she’s 30. Houston initially drafted the will in 1993, but amended it to the current version in April 2000. Bobbi Kristina, meanwhile, will sit down with Oprah Winfrey for her first interview since her mom’s passing this Sunday evening on OWN.
A key bill currently before the U.S. Congress, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), and its companion bill in the Senate, the Protect IP Act (PIPA), need to be torpedoed ASAP. At THG, we normally refrain from such overt political messages, but the fact is these bills would censor content and impose harmful regulations on millions of people. Legions of Internet users and entrepreneurs oppose SOPA and PIPA, and for good reason. They would enable the government to – indiscriminately – regulate the web. If these bills pass, which is a real threat, the web will be transformed dramatically. Not only are the livelihoods of sites like THG at risk, but behemoths like Google. Google! Check out their SOPA “blackout” logo today in defiance of the legislation: In a nutshell, the bill would enable easy, and unnecessary blocking of entire sites. Small ones won’t have sufficient resources to defend themselves against corporate giants. Big media companies may seek to cut off funding for competitors, even if copyright isn’t infringed. Millions will be suppressed, strong-armed and blacklisted – LEGALLY. Combating piracy of intellectual property is a worthwhile goal, but there are fair, effective means of achieving it without broad government overreach into our lives. SOPA and PIPA are not it. In fact, they will do just the opposite, quashing the innovation of small businesses everywhere while rewarding a select few arbitrarily. The only PIPA we like is Pippa Middleton . The only SOPA we care about is … we have no joke for that one. It hits so close to home, we can’t even think straight. Follow this link to make a call to your U.S. representative . It only takes a minute, they connect you immediately. Or follow this link to join Google’s effort . Stand up for individual liberty or the Internet as you know it may be altered forever.
It looks like Casey Anthony has a million dollar decision to make. A Florida law firm representing a group of Hollywood producers is looking to revisit talks for her first interview following her split with attorney Jose Baez . In a letter dated Tuesday , the firm of Cohen & Kuvin tells Anthony’s new attorney, J. Cheney Mason, that all sides had previously agreed to a mega-deal. Until Baez pulled out, that is … and parted ways with Casey for unknown reasons. In any case, sans Baez, they’re still interested in getting a deal done. Second Casey Anthony Video Diary Sneak Peek California-based producer Al Taylor, who’s worked on behalf of The Jerry Springer Show in the past, was previously linked to a potential deal with Anthony. Springer denies his show was involving in making any such offer. The 25-year-old, who was controversially acquitted of murder, manslaughter and child abuse in the 2008 death of her daughter Caylee, remains in hiding. Mostly. She resurfaced in a video blog released earlier this month, though the exact leak of the Casey Anthony video diaries has yet to be determined.
Lopez tells Vanity Fair she ‘remain[s] an eternal optimist about love’ in first interview since separation. By James Montgomery Jennifer Lopez Photo: Getty Images Jennifer Lopez tells Vanity Fair that she still “believe[s] in love,” in her first interview since announcing that she and husband Marc Anthony were ending their seven-year marriage. “Sometimes it doesn’t work, and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love,” Lopez said. “It’s still my biggest dream. I am positive — determined — to move forward with my life, bring up my babies and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong.” Lopez appears on the cover of the magazine’s September issue (on newsstands nationwide August 9), and she spoke openly not only about her marriage to Anthony, but her previous high-profile relationships with P. Diddy and Ben Affleck. Calling herself “a hopeless romantic … [a] passionate person when it comes to love,” she added that, until recently, she rarely loved herself, a revelation she says lead to her decision to split with Anthony. “It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves,” Lopez said. “To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself — if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.” But Lopez adds that she remains close to Anthony, whom she married in June 2004 and with whom she has two children , telling the magazine, “I will always respect Marc as a singer and a performer. … We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. … He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.” Related Artists Marc Anthony Jennifer Lopez
Americans took on more debt in May and used their credit cards more for only the second time in nearly three years. Consumers stepped up their borrowing just as the economy began to slump and hiring slowed. How College Students Can Build A Simple Budget The Federal Reserve said Friday that consumer borrowing rose $5.1 billion in May, the eighth straight monthly increase. It followed a revised gain of $5.7 billion in April. Borrowing in the category that covers credit cards increased, as did borrowing in the category for auto and student loans. Borrowing is a sign of confidence in the economy. Consumers tend to take on more debt when they feel wealthier. That boosts consumer spending. Ultimately, it gives businesses more faith to expand and hire. But an increase in credit card debt can also be a sign of people falling on harder times. 7 Affordable Gifts That Build Wealth The economy added just 18,000 jobs in June, the fewest in nine months, the Labor Department said Friday. It was the second straight month of feeble job growth. The unemployment rate rose to 9.2 percent, the highest rate of the year. Economists have said that temporary factors, in part, have forced some employers to scale back hiring plans. High gas prices have cut into consumer spending, which fuels 70 percent of economic activity. And supply-chain disruptions stemming from the Japan crisis have slowed U.S. manufacturing production. Economists don’t expect consumers to load up on debt the way they did during the housing boom. During that period, Americans felt wealthier and more willing to take on increased debt because of the soaring value of their homes. The Federal Reserve’s borrowing report includes auto loans, student loans and credit cards. But it excludes mortgages and loans tied to real estate.
