Getty Images REALLY??? Teacher Asks Students To List Positive Aspects Of Slavery A rancidly racist revisionist is in hot water after asking students to take on a shocking assignment. According to ABC News , reps for The Great Hearts Monte Vista schools are apologizing after an unnamed teacher gave out a homework assignment telling students to list both the positive and negative aspects of slavery. Aaron Kindel, the superintendent of Great Hearts Texas, is confirming that the teacher has been placed on administrative leave. “To be clear, there is no debate about slavery. It is immoral and a crime against humanity,” said Kindel in a statement posted Thursday. The textbook being used in the teacher’s classroom,”Prentice Hall Classics: A History of the United States” has been removed until school officials can review the material. Pearson, the makers of the textbook, are denying any wrongdoing. “We do not support the point of view represented in the worksheet and strongly condemn the implication that there was any positive aspect to slavery,” said their rep Scott Overland. News of the assignment quickly spread after Democratic Rep Joaquin Castro posted about it on social media. This is absolutely unacceptable. Oates wrote on Facebook that he had signed in with a four-day guest pass from his friend, a club member. “After about a half hour, I was approached by this same employee telling me that I had to leave or pay, and I explained to her that I just signed in with her with the guest pass,” he said. “She stated that it was my friend who did not pay (unaware that her manager had already signed him in with his membership pass). My friend stated to her that he is an active and current member and that his gym tag was in his locker.” Wow. LA Fitness has since issued an apology according to Yahoo . In a statement released on Thursday per CNN , LA Fitness said, “Clearly, this is a longtime member, with a current, valid membership. We want to clarify that no membership was canceled and no one, including the member’s guest, was banned from the club.” LA Fitness also said in the statement that a front desk employee was “confused” and thought the member was a guest. “Regrettably, from there our staff unnecessarily escalated the situation and called the police rather than work through it,” LA Fitness said, adding that the company is “currently exploring potential training content and opportunities to better train our staff.” SMH.

But they didn't use any balloons or cakes to surprise everyone (themselves included) with this piece of information. They used an alligator. Seriously. Mike “T-Mike” Kliebert and Rebecca Miller are both trained alligator handlers and they took full advantage of their skills in this unique area by inviting one of their favorite reptiles to their party. In the following footage, which has been viewed over 7 million times on Facebook, Mike feeds the alligator a small watermelon. You can see the creator's mouth snap shut, prior to blueberry Jell-O pouring out forth, thereby indicating that Mike and Miller are having a little boy. Hooray, right?!? Family and friends are seen cheering along with the husband and wife. The clip has gone viral because, well… you did read that a man used an alligator to reveal his baby's sex, right?
