Look out, celebrity gossip lovers across the world! You may want to duck and take cover. Because we’re pretty sure pigs will start flying at any moment. We have this inkling because Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin went ahead and did the unthinkable on Friday night: He issued what appears to be a heartfelt apology to Kailyn Lowry. For real! “At the end of the day a good relationship with my sons mother will make Lincoln the happiest. I lost sight of that,” Javi wrote, referencing the child he shares with his ex-wife. The mea culpa was prompted by Marroquin’s actions while visiting current (or maybe ex ) girlfriend, Briana DeJesus, in Miami last week. (More on that down below.) “This trip made me realize that and I’ve apologized to kail for my actions,” Marroquin added, regarding Lowry and their relationship. The formerly married reality stars co-parent their four-year-old son. Through all their ups and downs (and there have been A LOT of ups and downs!), Javi and Kailyn have at least always seemed dedicated to raising their toddler in as happy and as healthy an environment as possible. The couple was together as husband and wife for three years prior to their split in 2016. Both have since moved on with other lovers, as Marroquin’s ongoing, up-and-down relationship with fellow MTV personality DeJesus is a constant source of tension. Early last week, Javi visited Briana in Florida, where she had gone to get some plastic surgery. It’s unclear exactly what transpired between the pair, but Marroquin peaced out quickly , sparking chatter that the twosome had broken up once again. What the heck happened between Marroquin and DeJesus that prompted him to leave earlier than planned AND to subsequently apologize to Lowry? “I should’ve never went. I should’ve went to LA like I was supposed to. We broke up for a reason and yesterday reassured me that,” Javi simple said mysteriously to Radar Online when asked this question. It’s since been rumored that Briana’s baby daddy, Devoin Austin, also showed up in Miami, creating quite the awkward situation. Clearly having heard this rumor, and likely having been asked about it on Twitter, Lowry took the high road on Friday. She refused to rub any salt in Javi’s latest wound, writing to followers instead: “Everyone’s asking where tea is at but javis been through enough so I’m not gona put him through more s—t.” Man. It was a lot more fun when these two were at each other’s throats, huh? For Lincoln’s sake, we’re glad his parents look like they’re maturing and acting like real adults. But it’s a real bummer from our side of things! Marroquin and DeJesus, meanwhile, called it quits in January after dating for just a few months, although it’s apparent the nail wasn’t fully stuck into their romantic coffin at the time. “It’s none of my business, so my mouth is closed. I wish Javi the best, as always,” Lowry told Us Weekly about the break-up last month. But then Kailyn went ahead and sort of made it her business by bringing Marroquin on her podcast and asking him about his split from DeJesus. Briana was not very happy about this development. She WENT OFF on Lowry and Marroquin in an epic Twitter rant shortly after this appearance. “Call me ratchet, trashy all you want but don’t mention my name again and there will be no issues,” Briana wrote as one of many messages aimed at Kailyn and Javi, adding: “U NOT KIM K SO SLOW UR ROLL… AND DONT SIT HERE TRYNA PLAY MIND GAMES WHEN THE REAL REASON WHY WE ARE HERE IS BECAUSE OF UR..JAVI.” She also wrote this: Is there any chance these three bury their hatchet over a cup of coffee? It’s looking like Miami will continue to be the center of Teen Mom 2 drama next week! Here’s a brief recap of everything that’s been going on in the Sunshine State, in case you haven’t been keeping up: First, Briana DeJesus and Kailyn Lowry both flew to Miami for plastic surgery sessions with the appropriately-named Dr. Miami. Kailyn canceled her procedure after experiencing a last-minute change of heart. Briana did go under the knife, and Dr. Miami shared her before and after photos on his social media pages today. (That may seem a bit sleazy, but you have to understand that plastic surgeons are basically the Charlie Sheens of the medical community.) Anyway, despite the fact that the past two days saw more surgical drama than an entire season of Grey’s Anatomy , the big story out of Miami this week is the news that Briana and Javi Marroquin are already back together after breaking up last month. Or at least they were … Javi joined Briana in Florida so he could be by her side in the hours leading up to her procedure. Fans assumed he would stick with her during her recovery, but just hours after her procedure, Javi was on Snapchat announcing that he was looking to go out and party in Miami. When fans accused him of ditching Briana, Javi offered no explanation or apology. Just the day before he was making appearances on her Snapchat, and all appeared to be well. So what went wrong in the interim? Well, there’s been no official word, but we’re guessing the surprise appearance by Briana’s baby daddy, Devoin Austin, didn’t sit well with Javi. Teacher In Florida In Hot Water After Supposed “Typo” On Homework A teacher in Florida is catching a lot of heat after what she sent home students with what claims to be a spelling mistake on their homework. The class of 6-year-olds were supposed to be learning how to spell the word “bigger,” but ended up having a spelling sheet with a racial slur on it instead. One child noticed and told her mother, and Terry Day reached out to the Hamilton Elementary School. “I said, ‘Well, you didn’t spell-check your word? You didn’t proofread your word before you sent that out?’ And (the teacher) said, ‘It is a word.’ And I didn’t like the attitude behind that one,’” Day told WESH 2 . The school issued an apology already, and claims the teacher is extremely remorseful. On Wednesday (Jan. 17), Gucci announced on Twitter that he plans to release a biopic based on his memoir The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, which was released in September. “#TheAutoBiographyOfGuccimane is coming to a theatre near you,” the rapper tweeted. He revealed that he’d be directing the film and added the hashtag #1017Films, suggesting that Gucci may also be launching a film company in the future.

And if the president’s profane position on Haiti wasn’t already clear enough — he reportedly called the island nation a “shithole” and asked lawmakers “Why do we need more Haitians?” — his administration doubled down on it Thursday by preventing people from Haiti from applying to work legally in the U.S. “Haitian nationals applying for H-2A and H-2B visas present extremely high rates of refusal, and those issued H-2A or H-2B visas have historically demonstrated high levels of fraud and abuse and a high rate of overstaying the terms of their H-2 admission,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) wrote in an official notice released Thursday. “Haiti has shown no improvement in these areas, and the Secretary of Homeland Security has determined, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, that Haiti’s inclusion on the 2018 H-2A and H-2B lists is no longer in the U.S. interest.” READ MORE: Trump Targets Legal Haitian Immigrants For Deportation The news came as tens of thousands of Haitian immigrants in the U.S. legally were facing the prospects of immediate unemployment because the Trump administration delayed the process of re-registering for the Temporary Protection Status (TPS) program under which they were brought them to the country following a deadly earthquake in 2010. As a result, many employers have reportedly warned their workers who are TPS holders that they may not have a job come Monday, when the protection status was set to expire.
