Folks, we have good news and even better news: The good news is, Hannah Brown is engaged! The even better news? She’s not engaged to Luke Parker! Once again, Reality Steve has delivered in the spoilers department , and it sounds like everything’s coming up roses for the Beast Mode Bachelorette. In case it’s not abundantly clear, major Bachelorette spoilers lie ahead, so read no further if you wish to be surprised by this year’s finale! There was a lot of speculation over the weekend surrounding photos of Tyler Cameron and Jed Wyatt, who were both spotted partying near their respective hometowns. Since Hannah wasn’t present at either fiesta, and since other females were on hand, many took the celebrations as signs that Tyler and Jed are both still single. But now, Reality Steve is shutting the rumor mill down and setting the record straight: First, he informs his readers that Tyler and Jed were Hannah’s final two bachelors. Then, he tells us in no uncertain terms: “Hannah picked Tyler Cameron and they are engaged.” We’ve known the identities of Hannah’s final four for quite some time, but this is our first official confirmation that Hannah ends up with Tyler C. in the end. So who is the lucky guy who will hopefully be exchanging vows with Hannah in the very near future? Well, he’s a model and former college football player who will have his first one-on-one date with Hannah during tonight’s episode. Tyler had aspirations of becoming an NFL quarterback, but those dreams came crashing down when he came off the bench for Wake Forest during a 2013 game against Florida State. Cameron posted Nathan Peterman-like numbers in his brief outing, throwing three interceptions in the span of just four passes. Those would have been solid stats if the opposing secondary played for Tyler’s team, but alas, that was not the case, and poor Mr. Cameron was condemned to the drudgery of male modeling. Quelle horreur! Anyway, clearly Tyler charmed Hannah, and he’ll have his first chance to charm America tonight. We don’t know much about him, but we know he’s not Luke Parker, which is good enough for us. As for Luke, he reportedly gets sent home for slut-shaming Hannah , which confirms that he’s every bit the douche-nozzle we suspected him of being. Source: Allen Berezovsky / Getty Scottie Pippen Adds 5-Year-Old Girl To Lawsuit According to NBC , former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen has accused a young girl of defacing his Florida mansion with markers and crayons in a lawsuit he filed against the child’s parents. Pippen claims the girl, who was then 4 years old at the time, damaged “certain elements of the property” with coloring tools, adding that her parents, comedian Lindsay Glazer and Jacob Woloshin, had “responsibility for her conduct.” Pippen filed the suit in a Broward County court in 2018 alleging that Glazer and her husband destroyed his Fort Lauderdale home by causing more than $109,000 in damages. The couple moved into his house after theirs was damaged in September 2017 by Hurricane Irma. They all agreed that the couple would pay $30,000 a month for rent. Pippen had placed the home on the market, but agreed to let them stay only if they kept the property in “top show condition,” the lawsuit states. Pippen also alleged the couple allowed their pets (a dog and a cat) to “urinate throughout the home, thereby causing permanent stains and unsanitary conditions.” Pippen is demanding payment for damages, legal fees and other costs.
Source: The Washington Post / Getty Three Florida Radio Stations Will Air Snippets Of Donald Trump Speeches Every Hour We shouldn’t have to remind you of the 2016 election to caution you against 45’s influence. The Cheeto charred man in the White House has a base that’s ride-or-die , so much that three radio stations are giving him major airtime. According to the Orlando Sentinel , three local radio stations in Florida’s Panhandle announced that they would air Donald Trump speeches every hour and every day until the 2020 election. The announcement comes two days after Trump rallied his base in the area, vowing hundreds of millions of dollars in aid for the hurricane-devastated region. The stations set to broadcast the speech include Classic Rock WRBA-FM 95.9, Country WKNK-FM “Hank FM” and Adult Hits WASJ-FM “BOB FM.” They’re all under the newly formed company Gulf Coast Media, owned by Samuel Rogatinsky . According to Rogatinsky, each station will broadcast two-minute bites of Trump speeches every hour, sometimes twice an hour, until the presidential race. “We ran it by a bunch of listeners and people in the area, and nobody’s upset about it. It’s Republican territory,” Rogatinsky said. “Nobody’s offended by it. It’s not an issue.” The three stations, which cover Bay County, have facilities that were damaged by Hurricane Michael last fall, to the point that they went off the air for a couple months. Rogatinsky said Panhandle residents have been feeling forgotten in the last seven months since the Category 5 hurricane. He says they were inspired by Trump’s speech at his rally on Wednesday in Panama City Beach. “No games, no gimmicks, no delays,” Trump vowed of the funding. “We’re just doing it.” Mhm. Gulf Coast Media wrote in a press release: “ Gulf Coast Media, Inc. senior management acknowledged that broadcasting the President’s speeches may not be consistent with conventional commercial FM radio, but we have taken this approach to show the community’s sincere appreciation for President Donald Trump’s work in Panama City and Bay County.” Riiiight. As mentioned earlier, the MAGAs love their pres, no matter how much BS comes from his annoyingly perched lips. Rogatinsky told MSN that his three stations will offer similar airtime to other candidates if requested and as a way of complying with the Federal Communications Commission’s equal time guidelines. “Really, we just want to have inspirational type things because the community is so down,” he told the Orlando Sentinel . “Nobody else is really promising or doing anything. Hannah Payne , 21, reportedly saw the collision that police in Clayton County described as a minor fender bender before she followed Kenneth Herring , 62, for a mile, blocked his car with hers, approached him and killed him with her gun. That was after she called 911, which police said typically advise callers against approaching people they’re calling about. Payne is white and Herring is Black. Hannah Payne has been charged with murder for killing a Black man who she saw get in a hit and run car accident. Considering the egregious nature of the charges and the current racial climate in the U.S., tweets that suspected racism were all but obligatory. Against The World (@chillin662) May 10, 2019 However, emails have been sent to this writer claiming that Payne was the farthest thing from racist and accusing NewsOne of falsely reporting that she was racist. (NewsOne never reported she was racist.) One email said that the mere suggestion Payne could be behind a racist shooting of a Black man was ludicrous in part because her Facebook page showed she had many Black friends. However, a search for Payne’s Facebook turned up empty and a request by NewsOne to interview the people who sent the emails was denied. Because of that, the emails sent to NewsOne have been paraphrased and not quoted. Another lengthier email said the comparisons NewsOne made between Payne and George Zimmerman were misguided. Zimmerman was the volunteer neighborhood watchman in Florida who followed and killed Trayvon Martin in 2012 even after a 911 operator told him not to approach the unarmed Black teen. He was eventually acquitted of murder under Florida’s controversial Stand Your Ground law. Georgia also has a Stand Your Ground law , though it was unclear if Payne planned to use that for her defense. The email went on to add that Payne has always been romantically attracted to Black males, using that as a primary reason why the shooting could not have possibly been racially motivated. Another email said Payne lived in a neighborhood where people of all races live together. It was unclear where Payne called home, but the latest Census data for Clayton County showed that more than 71 percent of its residents were listed as being Black. One email blamed Herring, a senior citizen who may or may not have even realized he had hit another car, for driving for a mile after the collision despite there being no reports that he sped away. If Herring did speed away, that would presumably mean that Payne had to drive faster (read: speed) than he was driving just to catch up with him before she used her car to block him in. Insurance companies have long advised drivers who witness a hit and run to document the license plate number of the offending driver and report it to authorities. For instance, State Farm said on its website that drivers involved in and witnesses of a hit and run should not “follow the fleeing driver. Leaving the scene of the accident could put you in a compromising position: You’ll miss getting eyewitness accounts — and police could question who’s really at fault.” The email also wondered why Herring would make such a decision to keep driving. The email insisted that had roles been reversed, Payne would have remained on the scene of her car accident. It went on to say that she carried her legally licensed gun to protect herself from people like Herring. The author of the email didn’t respond to questions about what exactly that meant. All of the emails shared one common refrain: trying to discredit the way that NewsOne has covered the shooting as potentially being motivated by race. That was even as most mainstream media outlets have seemingly ignored the story or moved on to other current events. Upon first glance, there was no apparent direct evidence to suggest the shooting was racially motivated. But the circumstantial evidence, bolstered by the tragic trend of white people not in law enforcement trying to police Black people , appeared to be quite strong. That was especially true when factoring in how the shooting took place in Georgia, a state that prides itself on its role in the Confederacy. In fact, the Georgia House voted in late March “to increase the penalties against those who damage the state’s public and private monuments — and make it more difficult to remove or relocate Confederate markers ,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported at the time. That was as other, more progressive states have moved to remove Confederate monuments. More recently, a mayor in a rural Georgia town rejected a Black man’s job application specifically because of his race. Clayton County is located just 15 miles south of Atlanta, the state’s capital city where Black residents have long thrived socially and economically. But racism has persisted across the state, in both rural and urban locations, much like the rest of the country. Considering those facts, it was nearly impossible to rule out race as a motivational factor for Payne’s lethal pursuit of Herring. Payne’s lawyer said his client was simply trying to do the right thing. “It just seems like an unfortunate situation of a good Samaritan trying to stop a person on a hit-and-run,” Matt Tucker said. A witness described Payne to WSB-TV as the aggressor who immediately claimed after Herring was shot that he was the one who pulled the trigger. Given what is known about the shooting, it may come across as curious why more media outlets were not covering it. Aside from a handful of initial news reports following the news of Payne’s arrest, little other information has been reported with few, if any, follow-up news articles. Even social media was relatively silent despite that egregious nature of the shooting that typically makes for rabid fodder on Twitter and Facebook. Regardless of what investigators discover, it was doubtful that Payne could be charged with a hate crime even if the shooting fit the criteria for it. That was because the Georgia House only recently passed a bill for what could become the state’s first hate crimes legislation. The bill must be approved by the state Senate before it can become law. As of Friday afternoon, Payne remained locked up in Clayton County Jail without bond. His team has presented new facts that justify the obvious. Complex is reporting that Roc Nation has submitted new evidence that proves that they were not trying to falsify statements from A. Charles Peruto Jr, the lawyer representing the judge overseeing Meek’s case. In late 2018 the attorney filed a suit against the management agency and Amazon over his appearance in the Free Meek documentary. He volunteered to appear in the film to formally discuss the case but was caught talking reckless. He admitted that Brinkley appeared to look “f***ing awful” for not granting the MMG rapper a new case. Charles also flatly said defending her was difficult given her rulings exposed as being biased against the Philadelphia MC. Peruto filed a lawsuit against the two companies claiming the audio was altered. The court documents stated “These illegally intercepted and digitized oral communications were then edited and leaked to the press so that Peruto’s off the record words would be manipulated against him and his client, Judge Brinkley”. Well the Roc is stood ten toes down on their claims and have since hired experts that have verified that the off the record statements were not doctored. “Even though they are recompressed into different formats, their content accurately reflects the dialogue recorded in the original evidence files” the new filings read. In all, the social media megastar has helped 17 inmates gain freedom in the past 90 days. TMZ reports : We’ve learned Kim and her legal team helped 17 prisoners gain freedom over the last 3 months or so — each of them having served years of life sentences without parole … for low-level drug offenses. It’s all part of the 90 Days of Freedom campaign launched by Kim’s lawyer, Brittany K. Barnett, in partnership with lawyer MiAngel Cody of The Decarceration Collective. The campaign puts the First Step Act — signed by President Trump last year — to work for prisoners who received Draconian sentences. Kim is footing the bill while Barnett, who also co-founded the Buried Alive advocacy group, and Cody handle the lawyering. We’re told Kim’s been secretly funding the campaign over the past few months. We’ve known about a few cases Kim’s backed — Jeffrey Stringer in Florida, Cyntoia Brown in Tennessee, Alice Marie Johnson in Alabama — but now we know the list is much longer. Source: U.S. Navy / Getty Plane Skids Off Of The Runway And Into A River A Boeing 737 charter jet arriving at the Jacksonville, Florida from Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, slid off the runway into the St. Johns River on Friday night, injuring 21 people, according to authorities . All 136 passengers and seven crew members had been rescued by early Saturday morning, a Navy spokeswoman said. Luckily, none of the injuries were life-threatening. “I think it is a miracle,” Capt. Michael P. Connor, the commanding officer at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, said at a news conference on Saturday morning. “We could be talking about a different story.” The sheriff’s office said the plane had never been submerged with photos showed the aircraft floating on the St. Johns River. The incident occurred at about 9:40 p.m. as the pilot attempted to land the jet amid heavy thunder and rain. The flight was operated by Miami Air International , a charter company that shuttles military service members from the base in Guantánamo Bay to naval air stations in Jacksonville and Norfolk, Virginia. Boeing has been under some serious scrutiny following two deadly crashes of its 737 Max jet within months of each other–while Miami Air International’s website says the airline exclusively uses the Boeing 737-800 jet, which is a different model. The Max planes have been grounded in the United States and several other countries in the aftermath of the Ethiopian Airlines crash. Luckily, there were no serious injuries or fatalities in this latest incident.
