Man Attacks Woman For Refusing To Have Sex With Him After He Bought Her McDonald’s via Palm Beach Post A West Palm Beach man is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail after he allegedly beat a woman who refused to have sex with him after he bought her breakfast at McDonald’s. Justin Jarrard Oliver is facing charges of felony battery and false imprisonment. Oliver, 26, is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail. The woman told West Palm Beach police that she and her boyfriend picked up Oliver in her car Wednesday morning then drove to the McDonald’s on 45th Street west of Australian Avenue. The trio placed their order and Oliver paid the tab, according to an arrest report. Oliver then “demanded sex from (the victim) due to him buying her McDonald’s food,” the report said. As the woman was driving, Oliver allegedly “grabbed her by the arm/hand and attempted to pull her into the rear seat for sex,” according to the report. The woman screamed and held on to the steering wheel before bringing the car to an abrupt stop on 35th Street near Broadway. Once the vehicle stopped, Oliver jumped out and tried to pull the victim out of the car while again demanding sex, the report said. Oliver allegedly punched the woman with his fist, causing “severe injuries” that included a 1 1/2-inch laceration above her left eye and numerous other cuts and abrasions, the report said. The woman’s boyfriend jumped on Oliver’s back, allowing the woman to move the car a short distance away. The boyfriend then got back in the car and the woman drove to St. Mary’s Medical Center. The hospital staff alerted police. Police found Oliver near the location of the assault. He refused to answer questions from police, citing his right not to incriminate himself, the report said.

Rocko Arrested After Racing Down Atlanta Highway Rocko and an unidentified friend were tossed into jail on Friday night after drag racing down the highway in luxury cars. Rocko was racing a friend down I-75 who was driving one of his other cars. It seems he wanted to test the power of the Rolls up against the speed of his BMW. It’s not everyday that you see two high-end luxury cars speeding against one another on 75, so naturally they caught the attention of the Atlanta PD. By the time police caught up to Rocko and his friend, they had already cut out their fast and furious shenanigans and were driving at a normal pace. That didn’t stop police from pilling them over and arresting them both. Rocko’s friend apparently tried to escape in the BMW, but being that the cop cars had a little speed on them, they were able to catch up to him and eventually take him into custody for fleeing and eluding a peace officer. According to TMZ , since both the cars had slowed by the time cops caught them, neither could be charged for racing. BUT since Rocko’s DMV papers weren’t quite all together, he got tossed in for driving with a suspended license. At least there was no accident! Racing can get dangerous… TMZ

A Florida woman walked right into the path of an oncoming freight train while texting on her phone. Surprisingly…the woman lived to tell the tale and only suffered fractures to her arm and injuries to her leg. A 27-year-old woman had a miraculous escape after walking into a moving freight train while texting on her mobile phone. Sheena Keynna was hit by the train on Monday afternoon as she walked around the crossing gates and into the path of the passing freight train in Lakeland in central Florida. Police Sgt. Gary Gross told the Ledger of Lakeland the woman ‘wasn’t paying attention.’ She suffered a compound fracture to her right arm, and her right leg was injured. She was taken to a hospital, but no additional information was available. The train had two locomotives and was carrying consumer goods from Winter Haven to Jacksonville. Two Amtrak trains were delayed during the investigation. Let this be a lesson everyone — look up from those smartphones sometimes!

Officer Of The Year Admits To Raping Immigrant Men A former Florida police officer has admitted to forcing undocumented immigrants into having sex with him. Via Free Thought Project : Jonathan Bleiweiss, 34, pleaded guilty to an array of charges last week, admitting to 14 counts of armed false imprisonment, 15 counts of battery and four counts of stalking. However, he avoided all of the charges with “sex” in them. Most likely due to his police officer status, this former Broward Sheriff’s deputy was given an insultingly lenient plea deal. As part of that deal, Bleiweiss did not face charges of sexual battery, and as such will not be required by the state of Florida to register as a sex offender. A group of approximately 20 undocumented immigrants alleged that Bleiweiss, harassed them, molested them during pat-downs, and threatened them with deportation if they refused to perform sex acts. Eerily enough, just after this officer was named Employee of the Year for his district, Bleiweiss told the South Florida Blade newspaper that early in his career one of his supervisors taunted him by calling him “sex offender,” for being openly gay. However, the label, now fitting, will not be applied. Bleiweiss was sentenced to five years in jail and ten years of probation but avoided the sex offender designation altogether. Undocumented immigrant workers are often targeted by unscrupulous individuals as they have very little recourse when trying to report crimes committed against them, because of their “illegal” status. Bleiweiss likely chose this vulnerable group of people to violate and abuse, for this reason. In the end, Bleiweiss was charged with arbitrary battery charges relating to patdowns he conducted while on duty; nothing else. Broward Public Defender Howard Finkelstein called the outcome, “shocking and shameful to the whole county.” The Sun-Sentinel reported on another contrasting case that played out in court on the same day as Bleiweiss’ deal. Eric Beasley, 25, a former high school teacher from Broward, was sentenced to 20 years in prison after admitting to having a sexual relationship with an underage student, a 14-year-old girl. Both men obviously abused their positions of authority, and both men victimized underage teens. But only one of them did it to multiple victims. Only one of them carries a badge and a gun and throws people in prison for the same crimes he committed. And, only one of them was able to get special privileges for their depravity. The cop. The original investigation began in April of 2009 after multiple complaints were brought against Bleiweiss. However, he was allowed to stay on the job for several months after. During those several months, Bleiweiss racked up more victims, including the underage teen. SMH!!!!!!!!

Newspaper Allows Family Of Dead Man To List Cause Of Death As Uppercut From Batman The family of a Florida man was allowed to pay homage to his love of comics in his published obituary, which listed his cause of death as “an uppercut from Batman” Via NY Daily News reports : Stephen Merrill, from Winter Haven, passed away on February 12. The 31-year-old died suddenly and the family at the time did not have an official cause of death when they went to write his obituary for the local newspaper, The Ledger. The Ledger does not allow obituaries to be published unless there is a cause of death. “Everyone was starting to get a little tense. We didn’t have a cause of death but we were told we had to have one,” said Merrill’s friend Brandon Moxam. “I made a joke. Say the cause of death was an ‘uppercut from Batman.’” Moxam said everyone started laughing and Merrill’s dad, Larry, responded: “Yeah, the cause of death was an uppercut from Batman.” “He would have been honored to have died by an uppercut from Batman,” said fiancée Stephanie Vella. The paper then printed it after being persuaded it would help the family grieve. “It was worth it for the family. It was the only time the family was able to laugh in days,” said friend, Andrew Albreacht. Merrill was diagnosed with cancer in June 2013. Despite going into remission in December of the same year, the cancer returned last October. He had a huge love of comics and people wore superhero t-shirts to his celebration and there was also a Captain America shield made from flowers. This is bittersweet, but we love the idea of the way they chose to pay homage to the loved one they lost.
