Hugh Jackman has a background in theater, and an even more extensive background playing Wolverine. So naturally, the Aussie action star is the perfect fit for a fake musical about everyone’s favorite X-Man. Hugh Jackman: Wolverine: The Musical! Wolverine: The Musical made its brief debut during a recent interview Jackman gave to BBC radio, and if Broadway is looking for a way to get more dudes in the audience, they’ve found it! In a song set to the tune of “One More Day” from Les Miserables , Jackman crooned about his ripped physique (“I gave up junk food that I know, I made that bargain long ago”) and, of course, works in a plug for his upcoming flick (“I play the X-man, yes it’s quite a task, in X-Men: Days of Future Past”). Sadly, the two minute clip above is the all that exists of this glorious fake musical, but with any luck, it’ll go super-viral and get theater producers to take notice. Hey, if Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark made it to Broadway, surely Marvel’s band of mutants deserves a shot as well. In the meantime, we’ll just have to content ourselves with X-Men: Days of Future Past. The latest installment in the mega-popular franchise is set to hit movie theaters on May 23.

Colleen Cudney Brags About Drinking During DUI Probation on Facebook, May Face Jail Time

Colleen Cudney was convicted of DUI in 2012, and placed on probation as a result. One condition of her probation was to remain alcohol free. Imagine how spooked she must have been the day after St. Patrick’s Day, when the 22-year-old was summoned for a random breathalyzer test. The Westland, Michigan resident passed, but the made the unbelievably baffling to celebrate the good news on Facebook. People are not smart. Police told WDIV she posted , “Buzz killer for me, I had to breatalyze this morning and I drank yesterday but I passed thank god lol my dumbass.” A buzz killer for her, indeed. But not as much so as when Colleen Cudney’s LOL-tastic Facebook post got the attention of the Westland police, who notified her probation officer. The department then called her up and told Colleen they wanted her to take a urine test, which unlike a breathalyzer, can show if she drank within 80 hours. Colleen hung up on them. This is an automatic probation violation. Even more astonishingly, her probation was set to end in a few weeks, but she’ll be back in court April 1 for a hearing and faces up to three months in jail. Hope you aren’t eating … Florida Mother Arrested For Her Children’s Deplorable Living Conditions Via OrlandoSentinel Authorities described the scene as “horrific” — a foul-smelling home filled with ankle-deep garbage and animal waste where five children lived with their mother. The scene was so bad that one of the children asked Orlando police and a child-protection worker to take him to a foster home and said he wanted a new family. The boy had broken, rotting teeth and said he could not chew without pain. All of the children were “unkempt” and obviously had not bathed recently, officers wrote. They ate cold food out of cans and were “parenting themselves,” according to the report. “The severe medical and overall neglect was horrendous,” officers wrote. The children were removed from the Orlando home and their mother, Yolander Lasane, was arrested Tuesday after child-protection workers contacted police. The garbage, which had to be shoveled out before workers could go inside, filled a large city trash can, according to an arrest report. “It was evident that no part of this residence had been properly cleaned or maintained in years,” officers wrote in the report. Lasane, 45, was being held Wednesday at the Orange County Jail on five counts of child neglect causing great bodily harm. Her children are 5, 9, 12, 15 and 17. Another child is grown and lives elsewhere. Just reading the list of things that police found in this house is enough to make your stomach turn… On Monday, police and investigators from the Florida Department of Children and Families found animal feces all over the floor, doors and walls. There was black mold, rotting food, filth and garbage in the kitchen and an insect-filled bathroom with a broken toilet, sink and tub, the report states. The front doorknob was hanging down and couldn’t be locked. Animal-control workers removed pets that had been neglected and were suffering, the report shows. In three of the children’s bedrooms, the floors were strewn with dirty clothes and trash, the lights and air conditioning did not work and the mattresses were “crawling with various bugs,” according to the report. We share enough dog, horse and goat humping stories around these parts that we can’t quite dismiss this photo as completely innocent , but we know there are some pet lovers amongst you that might feel differently, so we thought we’d share. Photographer Shares Photos Of Owners Kissing Their Dogs On The Mouth The photo is one of a series by photographer Chris Sembrot, who sums up his new pet-friendly project on his blog : Man’s best friend. That’s how the saying goes. And for lots of people, smooching with their Great Dane or Dachshund is just another way of expressing that love. To them, a kiss is a carefree way to share affection with the canine who loves them unconditionally. But to other, um, non-dog-owners, this might look like “Man’s best friend…with benefits”. They believe one’s Toy Poodle should not be their play thing. “Do you know where that mouth has been?” they silently ponder. While the human/dog chemistry is lost on this crowd, the smooching owners are actually changing their own biochemistry…for the better! Their oxytocin levels are rising; their blood pressure is slowing, all while their sense of well being crescendos. So, kiss away my friends. Woman Suing Cops For Making Her Poop On Front Lawn During Drug Arrest Via CourthouseNews A Florida woman who says the police officers searching her home for methamphetamine forced her to poop on her yard in front of them must amend her civil rights claims, a federal judge ruled. Dawn Brooks sued Volusia County and the city of New Smyrna Beach for allegedly making her defecate in her front yard during a search of her house for meth. A March 14 ruling on her case does not reveal what the search produced. It says Brooks had allegedly been brought outside her home and handcuffed when officers refused her requests to defecate in a private place. They “told her to ‘just use the restroom right there’ in the front yard, which plaintiff did,” U.S. District Judge Roy Dalton Jr. wrote, summarizing the allegations. Brooks claimed that the officers then would not help her cleanse and dress herself after she defecated in front of them. Eventually they allegedly made her undress and change into a plastic jumpsuit. Instead of helping, the officers looked, laughed and yelled at Brooks while she was undressing, the complaint states. SMH !!! Florida Student Attempts To Put Hand Sanitizer In Diet Coke Via AP reports: A Florida teenager is accused of trying to poison his teacher by putting hand sanitizer in her Diet Coke. The Northwest Florida Daily News reports that the 15-year-old was arrested Tuesday and charged with poisoning his teacher’s drink. The charge is a first-degree felony. Walton County Superintendent of Schools Carlene Anderson told the paper that the teacher is fine, though she became physically ill and went to the hospital after drinking the tainted soda. Anderson says South Walton High School officials told her the boy is a prankster who didn’t intend for the teacher get sick. In addition to his arrest, the teen has been suspended from school and faces an expulsion hearing. Stay classy Florida!!

What the hell is in the water in Florida that makes people lose their isht ?? Florida Man Stabs Employer To Death For Posting His Photograph Online Via Sun-Sentinel A restaurant worker stabbed and killed the business owner and seriously injured a co-worker Thursday night with horrified dinner customers fleeing the restaurant. According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office police report, Tilus Lebrun, 42, of 217 NW 15th Court in Pompano Beach told a Haitian PBSO deputy that he killed owner Dimitrios Karaloukas, 61, because he took a picture of him and posted it online. The emergency call came at about 7:30 p.m. from Jimmy the Greek Taverna Restaurant at 8221 Glades Road. Callers reported that an employee had fled the restaurant wearing a black apron while carrying a large knife. Deputies found Lebrun nearby on Glades Road. While in a deputy’s cruiser, Lebrun asked him if he was Haitian, and when the deputy said yes, Leburn spoke to him in Creole saying “I killed him because he took my photograph on March 2 and posted it on the internet.” In an interview at PBSO headquarters, Lebrun told the deputy “They need to learn how to respect people. I have three kids in Haiti. I know they will suffer, but they will survive,” according to the report. The deputy said while en route to the interview, Lebrun repeatedly said Karaloukas had taken his photo without permission. Employees and patrons of the restaurant told deputies that Karaloukas was sitting in the restaurant when Lebrun attacked him with a large knife, which some witnesses described to CBS12 as a meat cleaver. They said Lebrun walked up to Karaloukas and stabbed him three times in the left side and once in the back for no apparent reason, according to the report. Karaloukas, patrons and employees quickly left the restaurant. Deputies aren’t clear when the second victim, a male co-worker, was stabbed, but he was taken to Delray Medical Center in critical condition. His identity and updated condition have not been released. Karaloukas died from his injuries at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday, PBSO reported. Lebrun is held in Palm Beach County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder. Sir, honestly was it REALLY that serious??? Your kids will definitely grow up knowing that their father is an azzhole. For Discussion: Group Of Black Pastors Say Sentencing More Black Criminals To Death Will Stop Violence In The Community

Black Pastors:Sentence More Black Criminals To Death A group of African-America Florida community leaders made up of mostly pastors from the Jacksonville area say increasing the number of black criminals sentenced to death is the only way to stop black-on-black crime. via First Coast News There’s a problem in the black community and community leaders say they have had enough. They want to see an end to black-on-black crime and they are calling for harsher penalties. A number of Jacksonville’s black clergy say if the death penalty is used more often, when it applies, it will send a clear message. ”The message is black life does matter,” said Pastor Ken Adkins. Adkins is an ex-offender and father of 14 and has had it with what he calls the rising number of black-on-black crimes. “When you don’t value life,” he said, “I personally don’t believe you have the right to live.” Bishop Terrence Calloway said he has eulogized several young men under 40 and the genocide has to stop. “I don’t only speak as a pastor,” said Calloway, “I speak as a citizen, I speak as a father.” Even if their position seems to go against the teaching of forgiveness, their position is full of mercy. “The death penalty is warranted for those who have no regard for human life,” said Calloway. Pastor Adkins said during the 500 days between the death of Trayvon Martin and the acquittal of George Zimmermann, there were 11,000 incidents of black-on-black crimes nationwide.  The pastors said the numbers are unacceptable. The pastors hope their tough stand will lead to a change in how the black community views black-on-black crimes.
