In White Folks News: Joan Rivers Blasts Media For Accepting Angelina Jolie’s Homewreckin’ Ways And Making Her “A Godess”

Joan Rivers says Angelina and her sideline heaux steez got off easy in the public eye Joan Rivers Criticizes Media For Praising Angelina Jolie It’s been years since Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt went public with their affair-turned-relationship that rocked Hollyweird, but E! Network loud mouth and “Fashion Police” co-host Joan Rivers is still talkin that talk about Angelina not being held accountable for homewreckin’ her way into Brad’s pants heart. via CMT When LeAnn Rimes joined the Fashion Police recently on the E! network, Joan Rivers didn’t really talk celeb fashion with her. She focused more on just the celeb part — especially how hard it is for Rimes, who Rivers said the press has treated “abominably.” Then, with her own unique take on Rimes’ marriage to Eddie Cibrian, Rivers said: “You got together with a married man? So did Angelina Jolie. And she’s become a f*****g goddess.” Then the two talked about how much control the press can have over people’s lives and how they can twist any topic any way they want. “They can take it down a negative road, or if they want you to be happy and they love you, they’ll take it down that road,” Rimes said. But when Rivers asked her why she keeps picking fights on Twitter, Rimes said all she does is stand up for herself every once in a while. “Can you imagine the stuff I just let go? There’s tons of it,” she said. Dating a married man is never admirable, but do you think LeAnn Rimes and Angelina Jolie had similar situations? Or is Joan just bumping her gums for the hell of it again?

Bye Beyotch!!! Racist Baller Riley Cooper Leaves The Philadelphia Eagles After Threatening To “Fight Every N-Word” At Concert

Riley ain’t isht ! Riley Cooper Leaves Eagles For Counseling Via TMZ reports: Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper needs some serious n-word counseling … so much so he’s taken a leave from the team. A rep for the Eagles was blunt and to the point: “Riley Cooper will be seeking counseling and we have excused him from all team activities.” The rep says Riley needs to understand how his racist threats — to fight every n***er at the Kenny Chesney concert — are hurtful. The team is hedging over whether Cooper will be welcome back. For his part, Riley says, “The organization and my teammates have been extremely supportive, but I also realize that there are people who will have a tough time forgiving me for what I’ve done. The best thing for me, and for the team, is to step away for a period of time.” This guy is probably trying to mentally prepare for the upcoming NFL season. Riley has a big target on his head because their are a couple of “n-words” who want him to hop that fence and fight them… Continue reading

Shots Fired: T.I. Says He Would Have Killed George Zimmerman If Trayvon Martin Was His Son “I Would Have Been On Trial!”

Welp! TI Said He Would Have Killed George Zimmerman Via Radio reports: With the country still embroiled in social and political fallout from George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the Florida slaying of Trayvon Martin , Atlanta rapper T.I. did not mince words when asked about his response to the verdict. “Man, it was some bulls**t,” said T.I. during an exclusive interview with Power 98 “Morning Maddhouse” DJ No Limit Larry. Larry caught up with the rapper backstage at the station’s Summerfest 2013 concert, which hosted Lil Wayne’s “America’s Most Wanted” tour featuring T.I. and 2 Chainz when it touched down in Charlotte, NC. “My hat goes off to the Martin family, because if it was me and my child, there wouldn’t have been no trial,” T.I. continued. “I’d have been on trial. It would’ve been the trial of the father who killed the man who killed [his child]. That would have been my story. My hat goes off because [the Martin family] are much more clear and level-headed thinkers than [myself].” We can’t even be mad at him for this. It’s hard to take the high road like Tray’s parents have. Especially when Zimmerman and his dumbazz brother keep saying things like “it was God’s plan” and “I dare you to file a civil lawsuit.” Continue reading

For Discussion: New Study Says Rich College Kids Get More Financial Aid Than Lower Income Students

We thought financial aid was meant to help the kids with no scrilla. Rich Kids Have Edge In College Education According to Today Money College students have a better chance of getting financial aid if they come from affluent backgrounds than if they are lower on the income scale, some new studies show. There is growing evidence that colleges may be offering more scholarship money to wealthy students and less to those truly in need, and by doing so are perhaps closing a door to advancement for many families. A new study by Sallie Mae found that 36 percent of students from wealthy families received scholarships averaging $10,213 for the school year just ended, while 35 percent of students from families earning less than $35,000 a year received scholarships worth an average of $7,237. “With their relentless pursuit of prestige and revenue, the nation’s public and private four-year colleges and universities are in danger of shutting down what has long been a pathway to the middle class,” wrote Stephen Burd, author of the New America study. Why is this happening? For starters, colleges are in a perpetual race to rise in published rankings. Second tier schools are using offers of aid as lures for highly qualified students who might not otherwise attend – even if those students don’t really need the money. Sandy Baum, a senior fellow at George Washington University’s graduate school of education, agrees that colleges are using merit aid in ways that don’t fit the mission of financial aid. But the underlying trends, she says, are complex. Scars from the recession are another issue, Baum says, leaving more students in need of aid. One solution, she says, would be for colleges to lower their tuition and reduce the amount of merit aid they award. With colleges competing for the best students, that shift may be a long time in coming – but “they’re going to have to do something different,” she said. “I have to believe we will evolve in that direction.
