We’re told the warrants were issued after Bone failed to appear in court to address charges he had been driving on a suspended license. Four Men Attack Gay Couple According to Raw Story The New York City Police Department is searching for four men who are suspected of attacking a gay couple after Sunday night’s basketball game between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers. Nick Porto, 27, told DNAInfo that he was walking arm-in-arm with his partner, 22-year-old Kevin Atkins, on Eighth Avenue when four men attacked them. The couple said that they were repeatedly punched and kicked. After the attack, the victims were rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where Porto was treated for a broken nose. Although police have not classified the attack as a hate crime, Porto said that he had no doubt. “I’ve never had a feeling like this before in the city,” he explained. “I didn’t know that it’s not over, that this sort of stuff still happens.” “They called us f*****s,” Porto recalled. “They made fun of my jeans — I made the jeans myself, for that day.” The NYPD released two surveillance photos of one of the four suspects early Tuesday morning. Investigators described him as a 6-foot-tall Hispanic man with brown hair and a tattoo on his left arm. He is seen wearing a white Knicks #7 jersey, a white T-shirt, blue hat and blue jeans. Woman Eaten By Vultures After Falling From Cliff According to Inquistr The 52-year-old woman was hiking with her friends in the Pyrenees when she fell to her death, over 1,000 feet from the hiking trail. Aggressive Griffon vultures consumed her entire body before she could be reached by rescue workers. Rescue workers circled the area for around 45 minutes, trying to locate the hiker’s body. Unfortunately it was too late. As reported by MSN, the woman was eaten by vultures before her body could be recovered. By the time they found the woman, they could only recover her shoes, clothing and a few bones. Major Didier Pericou states that the rescue workers noticed vultures circling the area, but they never thought they would find the woman before they did. Aggressive vultures have become an increasing problem in France. Historically, the scavengers would feed on carcasses left by French farmers. However, European safety and health regulations have changed through the years, making it illegal to leave animal carcasses out on the land. As reported by IBT, Farmers are now forced to burn any animals that have died in their care, eliminating the food source. Authorities think this may explain why the 52-year-old woman was eaten by the vultures. As the vultures’ food has disappeared, they have been blamed for deadly attacks on livestock. Over 40 farmers have filed claims for reimbursement. Vultures are a protected species, so the farmers are forbidden from killing the aggressive birds. Their protected status, along with depleted food sources, are causing some serious problems for french residents. Some residents suggest that farmers should be allowed to leave the carcasses on the land, or should be given permission to shoot the vultures that threaten their animals. Although the birds have grown increasingly aggressive, this has been the first report of a human being eaten by vultures. Damn. Her family can’t even have a proper funeral because her body is gone. Lo Music Video Set According to TMZ Jennifer Lopez — wearing a tiny bikini — was escorted off the set of a music video shoot in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend after three gunshots rang out right near the production. Lopez seemed very cool, calm and collected as her BF Casper Smart walked her to a nearby trailer. Police say the incident occurred at the northernmost point of the Ft. Lauderdale Beach Park … while Lopez and Pitbull were shooting the video in the southernmost end of the park. The Miami Herald quotes security officials saying Lopez was “secured inside her vehicle” at the time of the incident … but a reporter for “ET” says he was interviewing Lopez when the shots were fired and “security scrambled her away.” When cops arrived to the scene, a witness told police he saw the shooter. So far, no arrests have been made. We don’t want a repeat of 1999 with you running for your life as bullets fly pass your head. Otis Nixon Arrested For Crack Possession According to TMZ Former MLB star Otis Nixon was arrested over the weekend in Atlanta after cops say they discovered a crack pipe and what appeared to be several crack rocks inside his car … and it seems he’s using the infamous “the crack belongs to my son” defense. According to an incident report from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, 54-year-old Nixon was pulled over just after midnight on Saturday after witnesses called police to report a Dodge Ram weaving all over the road. During the stop, Nixon — who played for the Braves, Indians and Expos — was searched … and cops say they found a pipe for smoking crack cocaine in Nixon’s pants pocket and an item believed to be a crack rock in the driver’s seat. But that’s not all … cops say they found ANOTHER pipe and more suspected crack rocks in the floor board of the driver’s side … along with even more drug paraphernalia. Now get this — according to the report, Nixon told the sheriff’s deputy that the substance they found in his car was indeed crack cocaine, but he said the pipes and drugs belonged to HIS SON and that he had been planning to get rid of the pipe. Police say they conducted field sobriety tests and determined Nixon was NOT under the influence of crack cocaine or alcohol. Nixon was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of a drug-related object. Nixon — who played 17 seasons in the bigs and stole 620 career bases — is still in custody. Air Force Man Charged With Groping According to The NY Post The Air Force’s top man in charge of sexual-assault prevention was busted for allegedly groping a woman in suburban Washington D.C., police said today. A drunken Lt. Col. Jeff Krusinski “approached a female victim in a parking lot and grabbed her breasts and buttocks,” according to a report by the Arlington County police. The alleged groping happened in the 500 block of 23rd Street in Crystal City at 12:35 a.m. yesterday, cops said. “The victim fought the suspect off as he attempted to touch her again and alerted police,” according to Arlington County cops. Krusinski, 41, of Arlington, Va., was removed from his position as head of the branch’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office, Air Force spokeswoman Natasha Waggoner said. “This report is extremely disturbing. It is clear that the status quo regarding sexual assaults in the military is simply unacceptable,” said US Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). The New York lawmaker said she’ll propose reforms next week, aimed at taking decisions on sexual assault cases outside the normal chain of command. “We have to reform how the military handles sexual assault cases and take on the culture that perpetuates this kind of behavior,” said Gillibrand, who held hearings in March on sexual assaults in the military. Krusinski, booked on suspicion of misdemeanor sexual battery, posted a $5,000 bond and was released. He did not know the victim, cops said. It wasn’t immediately clear why Krusinski had the cuts and bruises on his face in his booking mugshot. Krusinski’s arraignment is set for Thursday. The Air Force, on its Web site, described the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program as a program that “reinforces the Air Force’s commitment to eliminate incidents of sexual assault through awareness and prevention training, education, victim advocacy, response, reporting and accountability.” The description continues: “Sexual assault is criminal conduct.
