So sad … Teenage Girl Commits Suicide Because Of Online Bullies Jessica Laney, 16, of Hudson, Florida, was a popular soccer-playing high schooler in her real-life, but when she got home to the privacy of her computer she had a busy social media alter-ego on sites such as Tumblr, and Ask.fm, where people can ask questions and make anonymous comments… Via RadarOnline reports: The student at Fivay High School bantered with other users on the site under the name Jessica Marieee1, and while many posts were about boys, songs and make-up, some took on a much more sinister tone, calling her fat and a loser. One visitor asked her, “Can you kill yourself already?” and another commented “nobody even cares about you.” While many of her real friends believe that the taunts from Internet trolls are to blame for Jessica’s death by hanging, an official from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office says neither Laney’s parents nor Laney’s boyfriend were aware of any bullying in her life. “Our thoughts and prayers go to the Jessica Marie Laney’s family as they deal with their loss. (Pasco County Sheriff’s Office) is not aware of any formal complaint to the Pasco School District or PSO about her being bullied,” said Doug Tobin, Public Information Officer for the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. However, some telling online comments from Jessica herself on Ask.fm hint at deep rifts in her home-life and trouble with her family. “I miss so many people, but honestly I miss my brother, not the person he is now, but the one he use to be,” she wrote two days before her death. “I know he doesn’t miss me, but it still hurts to know he will never come back and more than likely never talk to me again.” Many of Jessica’s friends are now campaigning to have the controversial website taken down and have launched a petition on Change.org, that has already garnered thousands of signatures. “After I saw that, I thought they should just delete the website. Nobody should have that, to have people say stuff like that on there,” said school pal Laney Torres. The old adage “sticks and stones will break bones, but words will never hurt” is so far from the truth. Parents need to be into their kids business, all of it. Our deepest sympathies to this young girl’s family.

Soledad O’Brien Grills Shady Azz Senator Jeff Sessions Over ‘Cutting Food Stamps’ [Video]

61% of houses in Jeff Sessions state receives assistance from SNAP… and Soledad calls the Republican Senator out for wanting to cut back on funding! According to the interview , he says the figures ‘aren’t accurate’, and Soledad asks ‘why are you trying to balance the budget on people who make less than $23k a year?!?!’ Soledad O’Brien grilled Sen. Jeff Sessions over his efforts to cut the federal food stamps program on Tuesday’s “Starting Point.” Earlier this year, Sessions proposed removing $11 billion from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. He advocated cuts on Tuesday, arguing that food stamp spending has gone up even though unemployment is currently on the decline. O’Brien seemed skeptical. “There are people who’d say if you’re doing cuts, you invariably hurt people who need food and people who need food stamps to buy supplemental food,” she said. Sessions argued that the program has been “growing out of control” and “there are a lot of people receiving benefits who do not qualify and should not receive them.” O’Brien said that Sessions himself voted to expand the program in 2002 and 2008, and cited research that found the program has a low rate of fraud. Later, she said, “When you’re thinking of things to cut, people basically say, why are you trying to balance the budget on people making less than $23,000 a year… So why not cut something else? There are other things that could be on the table before you pick a program that is feeding the nation’s poor children.” Sessions said that he was not picking on solely the food stamp program. “I say all programs need to be examined in this government,” he responded. “This government is wasting money every day.” SMH…when will these old azz white men stop slashing monies for those in need?? ATL Mayor Kasim Reed Confirms Support Of Gay Marriage Following the foot steps of states like Washington, D.C., New York and Massachusetts, ATL mayor Kasim Reed has now confirmed that he is in support of gay marriage. via Politico In another sign of the rapid evolution of the politics of gay marriage, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced Tuesday that he supports marriage equality. “It is well known that I have gone through a good bit of reflection on this issue, but listening to the stories of so many people that I know and care about has strengthened my belief that marriage is a fundamental right for everyone. Loving couples, regardless of their sexual orientation, should have the right to marry whomever they want. By signing this resolution, I pledge my support to marriage equality for same-sex couples, consistent with equal protection under the law provided under the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution.” Reed’s statement comes seven months after he explained that he is “still wrestling with my own personal beliefs on the issue of marriage,” the non-committal position he took after President Obama formally endorsed gay marriage in May. This is a pretty big deal for obvious reasons, including the fact that Mayor Reed did not initially back President Obama’s bombshell decision to publicly support same-sex marriage. This Is Your Brain On Drugs: Katt Williams UNRETIRES Just Four Days After Announcing Retirement From Comedy

Po’ lil tink think… Earlier this week, a very emotional Katt announced his retirement on a street corner in Seattle insisting that he was, “kinda done.” Welp! Looks like crazy Katt might be back to doing rocks comedy… Katt Williams Unretires From Comedy Via TMZ reports : But now, Katt’s management team says he’s undone … telling us, “Katt is definitely NOT retiring. He will be moving forward with the tour … Friday is Texas, Saturday New Orleans, and on to Alabama.” Management adds, “The reason why he made remarks was due to him feeling totally disrespected by all the things that happen to him in the city of Seattle. He had a moment where he felt very unappreciated. He now just wants to move forward from those unfortunate events and give his fans outstanding shows from this point forward.” Katt has also not retired from dealing with court … TMZ has learned Williams was just charged with 2 counts of 4th degree misdemeanor assault in Seattle stemming from a bar fight this past weekend. As we reported, Katt was arrested Sunday after allegedly threatening the bar manager with a pool cue and refusing to leave the establishment … then later throwing a cigarette at a woman’s eye. Police claim Katt also threw a rock at the woman’s car as she left. Of course, this is just one incident in Katt’s long string of bizarre behavior recently, including slapping a Target employee and leading Sacramento police on a wild three-wheeled motorcycle chase. Vegas should start taking bets on when he will arrested next.

A new season of the weight-loss show will air in January and producers have allowed children as young as 13 to come compete at the ranch. According to The Daily Mail , the show’s secured pediatricians and childhood obesity experts, but the decision to bring pre-teens on is still drawing criticisms… In a bid to tackle childhood obesity The Biggest Loser is welcoming 13-year-old contestants for the first time in its eight-year history. Traditionally the hit NBC show has helped adults shift extra pounds, but Season 14 will address America’s growing epidemic with the help of three overweight teens. Talking about the upcoming series, returning trainer and new mother Jillian Michaels, told People: ‘This is about an introduction to an active lifestyle and helping them feel better about themselves.’ She added: ‘This is not their fault… It is about reeducating them and working on their goals.’ Michaels – along with fellow trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince – will mentor Sanjana Chandrasekar, 16, Lindsay Bravo, 13, and Noah Gray, 13. Dr Joanna Dolgoff, a childhood obesity expert and pediatrician will also work closely with the team, helping tlo formulate age-appropriate diet and exercise plans. In addition to the teens, 15 adults will also feature, including the show’s first openly gay contestant, 21-year-old Jackson Carter; former college football player Joe Ostaszewski; and police officer David Jones, 51. The teens will not be asked to weigh in on camera and they will train predominately at home. They will also not be up for elimination. A source revealed to the website that Whitney and Bobby’s song “Something In Common” perfectly describes her feelings for Chris. “Their relationship is like the early Whitney and Bobby day. Ri was watching Bobby and Whitney’s “Something In Common” video the other day and said ‘This is just like Chris and me. For real though, that’s the type of fun we having right now. I love Whitney. She was my girl. Can’t nobody do it better than her,” the source told HollywoodLIfe, adding that you can see her relationship with Chris is “real love … like ain’t no bullshi**ng. The s**t is magical and it’s real.” Of course the comparison between the two couples is rather unsettling if it’s something Rihanna is romanticizing. The 24-year-old “Diamonds” singer was brutally beaten by Brown in 2009, and Whitney and Bobby’s relationship was not without its own violence. In 2003, Bobby was charged with misdemeanor battery for hitting Whitney and reportedly threatening to “beat her azz.” RihRih and Breezy deserve each other, can we just let them happen? However, comparing your love life to Whitney and Bobby’s disastrous marriage might not be the best idea. We all know how that ended…

Linda Harvey, a radio host and founder of a Christian organization that opposes LGBT rights , says that ”homosexual marriage is wrong because homosexuality is wrong” and it promotes gay sex with “the very young.” Linda Harvey Claims Gay Marriage Promotes Pedophilia Via Raw Story : During her Monday “Mission America” radio broadcast on WRFD, Harvey struggled to understand last month’s marriage equality victories in Maine, Maryland and Washington. “The homosexual lobby is skillful at manipulating public sympathy by tugging on heartstrings while not telling the whole story,” she explained. “Our side sometimes plays right into their hands by also not telling the whole story, even when we get the chance.” “Until we deal with the core issue — the behavior of homosexuality — it was probably only a matter of time before our side would lose a few races,” Harvey opined. “Homosexual marriage is wrong because two men together or two women is intrinsically disordered, the behavior is unnatural. These aren’t activities that are beneficial or healthy. Homosexual marriage is wrong because homosexuality is wrong.” The radio host continued by warning listeners that there were “significant dangers to our youth” from legalized same sex marriage. “One thing our culture does not want if it wants to survive is to have its youth corrupted and this is happening in oh so many ways now, and homosexuality is one more,” she insisted. “And here’s how it works with homosexuality: since no pregnancy threat exists, some people think there’s no reason to prohibit behavior in the young, even the very young.” “And that’s one of the big reasons by homosexual marriage is wrong: because the young are raised on the mores and traditions of the adults and if same sex marriage is accepted, then children will begin to consider dating and forming relationship in these very different ways; ways that will be very destabilizing to many of them and to our society.” Get this broad outta here! People who have sex with the very young are perverts. Their gender preference is irrelevant. Since most pedophiles are not gay then, according to this logic, straight marriage encourages hetero sex with ‘the very young.’
