Peaches Monroee Launches GoFundMe A teenager whose phrase went viral on Vine is looking to be compensated years later. Back in 2014 Peaches Monroee became a sensation and started the trend of people calling things “on fleek.” Now Peaches who’s a college student studying nursing, has launched a GoFundMe asking for money to fund her cosmetics line. “Some of you may know me as Peaches Monroee but my name is Kayla,” wrote the viral video star. “I came up with the phrase/word “Eyebrows on Fleek”. Everyone has used the phrase/word but I haven’t received any money behind it or recognition. But for the most I want to start a cosmetic line and hair line; But I don’t have any money to do so. Maybe this can help me with my wishes and dreams. Kayla has a goal of $100,000 and you can view the GoFundMe for yourself HERE. While Peaches has a right to ask for compensation considering that the term has been used by the likes of Nicki Minaj, why didn’t she capitalize on this as SOON as it started? Vine has created stars like King Bach who has a net worth of $2 million. Do YOU think Peaches Monroee will be compensated for “on fleek”???

CBC Member Calls Steve Bannon Stone-Cold Racist, Not Invited To Trump Meeting Remember late last week when Cheeto-in-Chief asked journalist April Ryan to set up a meeting with the CBC — because all black people know each other and stuff?? Well, the CBC has responded and mentioned they have zero-tolerance for the racists on Donald’s team. In a recent interview with MSNBC , Hakeem Jeffries, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, went all the way in on Donald Trump’s top White House adviser and alt-right extraordinaire Steve Bannon . “It was very strange, but he’s done a lot of strange things over the last 28 days, and hopefully some of his advisers have informed him that one, a letter has already been sent to him and that we’re looking forward to an open dialogue,” said Jeffries, a Brooklyn Democrat. “Steve Bannon, however, should not be in room.” Host Katy Tur asked: “Why not?” “Well listen, he’s a stone cold racist and a white supremacist sympathizer,” Jeffries replied. “It would be hard for me to participate in any meeting with Steve Bannon that normalizes his presence in the White House. Beyond that, we’ll have to see.” Check out the interview below. Ex-Porn-Actress-Turned-Texas-Teacher Begs For Job After Being Fired Plot twist . We’ve done a lot of stories about teachers who have been fired and/or imprisoned for letting their students to smash their curriculum cakes to smithereens or doing porn. However, we’ve never seen a teacher who might actually have a valid reason for her freaky past. According to DallasMorningNews , a Texas teacher might not deserve the pink slip she was unceremoniously handed. Resa Woodward, 38, taught sixth-grade science at an all-girls STEAM academy at Balch Springs Middle School before she was removed from the classroom in November. She was fired after her past in adult films was exposed on social media. She is appealing her termination to the Texas Education Agency. Woodward said a controlling and manipulative man forced her into “sex slavery,” according to her appeal letter to Education Commissioner Mike Morath, released to The Dallas Morning News this week. “Young, stupid and afraid, I complied to avoid his wrath,” she wrote. “Only a woman who has been through such a horrifying experience could fully understand, but I’m asking you to understand and re-consider the terrible charges being brought against me, the victim of an abusive past.” Once Woodward escaped from her toxic relationship she became a teacher in both North Carolina and Florida before moving to Texas and earning her Masters degree. In other words, she’s not some freakazoid whore who might get pregnant when your 12-year-old son shoots her club up. Did we also mention that Resa was nominated for “Teacher of the year” in the school district? What do you think? Should Resa be given another shot at teaching the future leaders of America? Little Caesars Founder Mike Ilitch Paid Rosa Parks’ Rent Learn how $5 pizza empire helped a Civil Rights icon… Little Caesar’s founder Mike Ilitch sadly passed away last week at the age of 87. The Detroit businessman was a well-known philanthropis t and championed many charities throughout his beloved city. Now, one story about the pizza founder’s generosity has made the news following his death reports Sports Business Weekly . Judge Damon Keith, a friend of Ilitch, shared a touching story of how the businessman came to rescue of Rosa Parks during a dark time in her life: “It’s for $2,000, dated November the first, 1994. It’s from Little Caesars Enterprises to Riverfront Apartments, and I know it was just one of many,” said Keith, 91, who has been a U.S. Court of Appeals judge in Detroit for the last 46 years. “It’s important that people know what Mr. Mike Ilitch did for Ms. Rosa Parks because it’s symbolic of what he has always done for the people of our city.” On Aug. 31, 1994, Parks, then 81, was robbed and assaulted in her home in central Detroit. Keith called real estate developer Alfred Taubman, the owner of Riverfront Apartments, about finding a safer home for Parks. Taubman pledged to find the best home available. Illitch paid Parks’ rent every month until she died in 2005. The generous businessman supported numerous charities and helped everyone he met. Rest in power to this amazing man, you have an eternal invitation to the cookout!

Killer Mike Says The Democrats Use Black Community Killer Mike is fed up! The Atlanta MC recently sat down with The Grio to discuss the recent political climate. According to Mike, the black community hasn’t really gotten the fair end of deal within the Democratic party. The Run The Jewels rapper made a very public run to help Bernie Sanders during the election but was burned by how the Dems treated the black community… Supporting Sanders left him with an even more bitter taste for the Democratic Party, which black people have overwhelmingly followed for decades now. “What has happened in the last 50 to 60 years of being Democrats,” he says, “is we’ve become almost like a neglected wife. We’re faithful. We vote over 80 to 90 percent Democratic and the larger party seems to care nothing about us. “Everyone brags that unemployment is down to 5 percent but that’s not true among African-American men,” he continues. “It’s not true among African-American youth, but we aren’t holding the feet to the fire of the people that we’re voting for.” What can the Democratic party do for you?
