Australian Politician In Trouble For Using Black Doll In Nativity Australian politician Lizzie Blandthorn is under fire for using ablack baby doll to represent J esus Christ according to The Grio reports: “They don’t understand… I’m Christian myself and I think it’s good,” Blandthorn told 7News, explaining that people who had a problem with the display had a naive perspective of the Christian religion. “When we cut our skin we’ve got blood there… I think that’s more important. How he was, what he did for us.” Blandthorn said that she wasn’t trying to provoke outrage, or even a conversation, with her display. “I wasn’t intending to be provocative. The great thing about the district I represent is that people come from all corners of the globe, all walks of life and every age… It was meant to be a lovely reflection of the true spirit of Christmas,” she said, seemingly confused by all the attention her simple nativity was getting. But, Blandthorn said, the response was not all negative, and she has no plans to take the display down. She has received messages of support from many people who agree with her as well. “Baby Jesus was born for all people of all nations and for all of history and as I said, the response has been overwhelmingly positive,” she said. SERIOUSLY?!!?!?

His landlord… Memphitz Involved In L.A. Police Raid Toya Wright’s hall pass having husband apparently got into a little trouble this morning and had guns drawn on him by police. Memphitz reportedly underwent a police raid after his landlord told authorities that he threatened his life. Via TMZ: Reality star and hip-hop producer Memphitz was at the center of a police raid after his landlord claimed his famous tenant threatened to shoot him. It happened in West Hollywood late Wednesday morning, after Memphitz and the landlord got in a heated argument over living conditions in the building. The landlord called 911, claiming Memphitz left and said he would come back with a gun and take care of business. L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies came roaring over and went to Memphitz’s door, guns drawn, but he wasn’t there. Memphitz tells TMZ, he never threatened his landlord, but it’s true they got in a screaming match over intolerable noise and partying. We’re told deputies have not yet spoken with Memphitz and we don’t know if the landlord will pursue charges. Memphitz says for him, the party’s over … he’s moving out. Sheesh Micky, was it really that serious???? What do YOU think about Memphitz getting guns drawn on him over a simple screaming match???Did you guess that it was his landlord he threatened??

Muslim Woman Carolyn Walker Sworn In As Judge In Brookyln We hope Donald Trump is reading this great story…. According to Gulf News reports a Muslim woman was sworn in as a judge in NYC using the Holy Quran. Carolyn Walker-Diallo was sworn in as a civil judge for the 7th Municipal District at the Brooklyn Burough Hall, New York, after being elected last month. Walker-Diallo began her legal career as a litigation associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy LLP, according to her website. She says she saw her parents play a proactive role in the East New York and Cypress Hills communities. Walker-Diallo walked the family’s path of “being the change we want to see in the world” when she assumed charge of a community-based non-profit, named after her father, The George Walker Jr Community Coalition, Inc. She combined her passion for the law and for the community by creating the East New York Youth Court, which trains youth aged 13-18 to serve as judges, attorneys, clerks, bailiffs and jurors in real cases involving their peers. The first Muslim woman judge in the United States is Sheila Abdus-Salaam, an African-American who still sits on the New York State Supreme Court. She was first appointed to the bench in 1992. Another Arab-American, Charlene Mekled Elder, was appointed to the 3rd Circuit Court of Wayne County in Michigan in 2006. A few years ago, the state of California and New Jersey also appointed their first Muslim judges. California appointed Halim Dhanidina, whose parents emigrated from Tanzania to the United States in the mid-1960s. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Congratulations to Judge Carolyn Walker-Diallo!!!!!!!

Carson was angry over a Washington Post report that Republican leaders were preparing for a brokered convention to pick their 2016 White House candidate. “If it is correct, every voter who is standing for change must know they are being betrayed. I won’t stand for it,” Carson said in statement, Politico and CNN reported. Somalian Man Angry His 12-Year-Old Was Asked If Her Backpack Had A Bomb SMH. This is so racist it makes our skin crawl. A Somalian eight grader was questioned by a teacher at Shiloh Middle School in Gwinnett County whether she was carrying a bomb in her backpack. According to AJC reports : Abdirazik Aden, who was born in Somalia, said that on Monday, his 12-year-old daughter was going to class when a teacher stopped her and asked what she had in her bookbag. He said his daughter told her books. The unidentified teacher responded by asking, her if she had a bomb in her bag? “My daughter wanted to know why she was asking her that,” he said. He said his daughter was upset when she called to tell him about the incident. He went to the school to see what happened and was told by an assistant principal that it was a mistake. “I was upset,” said Aden, who lives in Snellville and works as a truck driver and grocery store owner. “I was going to take my daughter out (of that school) “We are from Africa, we are Muslims, we live in America,” he said. “I didn’t teach my children to hate people or to think they are better than other people. I don’t want nobody to treat them like that.” We don’t blame him for being pissed. What would you do if it was your kid? Would you demand she be switched into a new class or a new school? Would you sue??? Here’s the school’s side of the story: Sloan Roach, spokeswoman, for Gwinnett County Public Schools, confirmed the incident happened. “The remark was not appropriate, but based on their conversation and investigation,” school officials don’t believe it was made with “ill intent,” Roach said. She said it was a regular teacher, not a substitute, who made the remark. The teacher was trying to get the students to put away their backpacks quickly and made the remark to the student that was basically, what do you have in there, a bomb? The school’s principal, Eli Welch, conducted an investigation and spoke with the teacher and the parent. At least they admit the remark was inappropriate. SMH. Flickr
