Black Woman Denied Entry Into Nightclub Because They’re Too Dark Have you ever been denied entry into a club because of the color of your skin or weight? A group of British Black women were recently denied entry into an exclusive nightclub in London for reportedly being ‘too dark’ and ‘too fat’ to be seen in the popular club. What the entire hell?!? Via The Voice UK : Zalika Miller, 26, an up-and-coming actress from north London said: “Prior to us actually getting to the club, the [promoter] wanted pictures of the girls that my friend was going to bring. He basically said, if she was going to bring black girls then they’ve got to be of ‘a certain calibre’. She sent him pictures of me and another girl that was coming and I guess he gave his approval.” They claim a club employee at the door disappeared into the venue – where they have a video monitor – to verify whether someone can be ‘admitted’ into the club. “I remember even saying I’m not even going to bother to take my ID out because I bet she’s going to come back out and tell us some rubbish excuse,” Miller, who starred in the Brothers With No Game web series, said. The group was declined entry and told the club was at full capacity only to watch in shock as other women were allowed to enter after them. Miller says the promoter went to the door girl and asked why she wasn’t letting them in but was told, ‘I don’t think they’re good looking enough’ and later in an text message exchange with the DSTRKT promoter, the group of women were later informed that they were rejected at the door because one of the girls was “too dark” and another was “overweight.” Are these people serious?? Many clubs have been known to enforce ambiguous rules to prevent people of color from entering but this is just ridiculous! White Man Attacks Another White Man In Brooklyn An angry Caucasian brotha recently went HAM on another vanilla king for pushing his stroller in Brooklyn, which he believes he helped “settle” because that’s what white folks do. Via Gothamist : As the unhinged jogger put it: “The only reason white people like you are living here is because I settled this fucking neighborhood for you!” That is what we in the biz call the money shot. Considering the magnitude of the jogger’s rage, you’d think the stroller-pusher messed up his brand new white Air Jordans on the hottest day of the year. But despite promising to kill the stroller-pusher with one punch (you know, he DOES fight for a living) in front of (what appears to be) a security guard, no white people are physically harmed during the filming of the video. “White privilege! White f**king privilege! You pushed your stroller right into me, and all I say was ‘excuse you,’ and then you said, ‘f**k you f**k you!’ You f**king white trash!” You push your stroller into people?! Your baby could get hurt! You’re new in the neighborhood! I came to this neighborhood and the only reason white people like you are living here is because I settled this f**king neighborhood!” Check out the video below: We have some questions here: 1. Race Matters: Black Children’s Educational Expectations Are More Likely To Be Underestimated Than Whites

Dr. Ebbie Parsons III Writes About Learning Expectations In Black Schools Dr. Ebbie Parsons III has made it his personal mission to improve the institution of education and has proudly impacted the lives of more than 100,000 children around the world while delivering unprecedented business results to the organizations in which he has served. The co-founder of Yardstick Learning has recently penned a profoundly eye-opening piece for HuffPo on the educational expectations placed on Black youth vs. white youth in our schools today. The basic point of my argument is that “proficient” is such a low standard that not a single child who scores “proficient” in all areas according to the standards will actually be college or career ready upon matriculation from high school. The expectations are too low for any of these kids to rely on “proficiency” to help them get admitted into a competitive college and there’s nothing about any of these standards that are actually preparing these kids to be career ready for any type of position deemed to be on a “career track” by any American standard. These standards aren’t good enough for White students so why should schools be allowed to tout them as success for low-income Black and Brown students? How many times have you seen schools say that they’ve transformed or turned around a school by getting up to 70% proficient? Or what about the schools that brag that 100% of their kids are proficient? I implore you to peel back the onion to find out what percent of those kids are advanced proficient. And trust me, if that number is less than 10% and they’re touting 100% proficiency then you should know that the school is nothing more than a testing mill preparing kids for standardized assessments. Dr. Parsons goes onto argue that affluent communities (more likely to be disproportionately white) tend to teach analysis, critical thinking and offer more advancement opportunities to their students. Affluent communities try to build critical thinkers who are exposed to a vast array of opportunities and curriculum that explores all of the core content areas with a critical eye. They’re not teaching rote memorization of a standard so that kids can do well on an assessment. They’re teaching kids to actually “get it”. Many of them may even have fewer students that score proficient but nearly all of the students who are proficient actually score “advanced proficient” on an assessment because they have a firm understanding of the material. We must choose our children’s education “eyes wide open” and understand when the wool is being pulled over our eyes. The institutional racism that is “proficient” only continues to keep Black and Brown children from ever experiencing the real American dream. We need to understand the standards in order to challenge the standards. This is our responsibility as this determines our future! Do you think the standard is set too low for many students in Black communities so that their skill set leaves them in a position to just be “proficient” or far below their white peers??

Black Immigrants Make More Money Than Native Black Americans New research by Nielsen has found that the median household income for foreign-born blacks is 30% higher than that for blacks born in the USA. According to Black Enterprise , Figures show that the number of black immigrants in the U.S. has more than doubled since 1980, to a record 3.8 million. By 2060, 1 out of every 6 black people in the United States will be immigrants. Blacks from Nigeria and Ethiopia make up a good chunk of of the recent growth, while the Caribbean population accounts for nearly 50% of all blacks — majority from Jamaica. But why are foreign born blacks earning so much more? Andrew McCaskill, senior vice president of global communications at Nielsen, thinks it has a lot to do with the motives that bring them to the US and the communities they form once here. “A lot of the African…immigrants are coming specifically to get an education in the States. High numbers are college-educated, and not only have college degrees, but also masters. They’re creating jobs in their communities, they’re buying products from their entrepreneurs. There typically is a culture of recycling dollars, which contributes greatly to the rising fortunes.” However, McCaskill notes that the economic landscape for U.S.-born blacks as well — Nielsen also recently found that income growth rates in black households surpass those for almost all other groups. He hopes that this will help African-American communities realize the power their dollars truly have. “When black consumers see how much power they have, it will change the way African Americans look at themselves, and see how much [of a] power they have become economically. They have the power to drive the products and services that come into their lives and come into their communities.” Interesting, right??? We clearly need to focus on keeping our money in our communities…

But again that’s your business!!!! You tell everyone what your doing for me and Our babies!!! Knowing that I won’t speak out to the public about our family matters because I’m much older now and know better! Knowing our babies would one day read this Crap! I won’t do it to them for your few seconds like you and your mental lapse! I can go on for days about the emotional, physical, mental abuse! But for what!?! I don’t want you back! Our family and real freinds know ALL that you put me thru! Here’s a few reminders while you run around calling your kids Bums ( which you need your a** whooped for that!) but whatever. If you remember Gilbert already accused Laura of leaking her own emails to put out bad publicity about the baller… YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!
