BROWN/AFP/Getty Images Man Goes On Shooting Rampage Because Of “Xbox Rage” One 30-year-old man is facing felony charges after flying into a rage while playing a video game, firing more than a dozen rounds from two different handguns into the ceiling and walls of his bedroom of his Tennessee home, according to court records. One of the bullets struck a house directly across the street from him, where a family of three was at home, the arrest warrants state. Authorities later found the round lodged behind a window shutter and luckily, no one inside the house was injured. Casey L. Jones is being charged with four counts of reckless endangerment involving a deadly weapon following the incident. A woman in the home with Jones told Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies they never had any trouble before Jones erupted. “She stated that no argument had taken place, but the arrestee was playing Xbox when he suddenly had a breaking point and began screaming at the game,” the arrest warrant states. “He smashed the gaming console with his fist, causing him to act out in more rage. “The victim then told officers (Jones) went upstairs to the bedroom and began firing rounds through the ceiling and walls, but never pointed the firearm at her. The arrestee made threats of harming himself and has a history of making those same threats, according to the victim.” Jones later admitted to authorities he had picked up a Springfield XDS handgun from his nightstand and fired several rounds into the ceiling. Then he grabbed a Springfield XDM and fired another volley of gunfire through the walls. One of those rounds went through a bedroom window and ended up striking the neighbors’ house. Authorities recovered 16 shell casings from the bedroom and both handguns were subsequently confiscated. There is no information on what game Jones was actually playing before he lost control of himself. Casey L. Jones has no previous criminal history in Knox County and has been released on $8,000 bond. He is set for arraignment on November 14.

It was depleted, and I had to fix it,” Trump said. “What he did to our military made this country very unsafe for you and you and you.” It sounds like Donnie didn’t want any smoke with the former first lady, so he lashed out at Barack.

The mother of the late Jordan Davis s says she’s defeated incumbent Karen Handel despite the fact that the race has not officially been called at this time. McBath released the following statement; “After a hard fought race, I am honored to announce that the people of Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District have put their trust in my vision for the future of our district and nation.” Democrat Lucy McBath is declaring victory over Rep. Karen Handel in #GA06 . No major news outlet had called the race. Metro News reports: A court heard police did not at first treat Mrs Potters’ death as suspicious – and her body was released to a funeral director. But Potter confessed to the killing to a woman in his local pub just one week before Mrs Potter, 66, was due to be cremated. He told fellow builder Natalia Mikhailoea-Kisselevskaia, 32, what he had done before asking her to move in with him. Natalia said: ‘We were still on our first pints when he said: “I have got to tell you something”. He said: “I love my wife very much but she was doing my head in so I strangled her”. Mrs Potter’s body was found at her home in Mumbles, Swansea, South Wales, on April 7. A post mortem examination revealed Mrs Potter had a number of injuries including internal injuries, bruising and ‘other marks’ on her body. Pathologists could also determine a difference in signs of ‘manual strangulation’ and hanging. Potter will be sentenced on Thursday morning.

Some People Aren’t Happy About It Many Californians seem to be all about getting more sunshine after voters backed a proposition that could make daylight saving time permanent. On the ballot, Proposition 7 asked people whether or not they agreed to stop changing their clocks twice a year. Out of the more than three million ballots counted, around 60.3 percent of people voted Yes, while 39.7 percent of folks opposed the proposition, according to Newsweek. The Daylight Saving Time Act came about in 1949 in the U.S. and requires clocks to be set forward by an hour in the spring and fall back an hour every fall. The Proposition 7 vote came just two days after the U.S. fell back to standard time, gaining an hour of sunlight in the morning, but losing an hour of sunlight in the evening. Democratic Rep. Kansen Chu of San Jose put forth Proposition 7, arguing it’s a public safety issue. Having to spring forward every year causes people to lose an hour of sleep, which could lead to increases in car accidents and heart attacks, he argued. He cited a 2009 Michigan State University study for back-up. “I don’t know anybody who really enjoys doing this adjustment of their schedule twice a year,” Chu said. Thus, he and many other Californians argued that we should just stick to the Spring forward time and keep it there all-year round. Chu said making daylight saving permanent could mean children spending more time outside during the winter and people eating out more, which could boost businesses. Despite Californians voting Yes on the proposal Tuesday, any changes still require the backing of a two-thirds majority in Congress, as well as a change in federal law. Some people aren’t for the proposal. Republican legislator Jim Nielsen said back in June, “It’s fixing something that is not broken. Our society has acculturated itself to Daylight Savings Time. I think it would create too much confusion to change it again.” So far, Hawaii and Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Nation) don’t recognize daylight saving time. Florida became the first state to approve year-round daylight saving time back in March. However, as stated earlier, their move still requires the approval of Congress.
