Emma Forbes is a TV presenter in the UK, which means she pretty much doesn’t matter and barely exists, and that was before she squeezed into her bathing suit, where she really got the point across that she pretty much doesn’t matter and shouldn’t exist, at least not in this setting…put your shirt on bitch no one needs to see this shit. Forbes Magazine Apologizes For Calling Irish President ‘Gay’ Forbes Magazine is biting the bullet and humbling themselves after they recently described Ireland’s President as a gay man in a recent article on their website. via ABC News Financial news publisher Forbes says it’s apologizing to Ireland’s president for inaccurately describing him as gay in an online article. The New York-based media company pulled the offending piece from its website Wednesday and replaced it with an apology to readers and, indirectly, to President Michael D. Higgins. “Forbes will be issuing an apology to President Higgins in a separate correspondence,” the publisher said. Higgins, who has a wife and four children, offered no immediate response. The article, posted Tuesday by Ireland-based blogger David Monagan, called Higgins an “acknowledged h*m*sexual.” Higgins, a poet and intellectual who supports gay rights, was elected as Ireland’s ceremonial head of state in 2011. One candidate he defeated, Sen. David Norris, is Ireland’s foremost campaigner for gay rights and famously open about his ho*ose*uality. SMH. They had this man’s wife giving him the super-sideeye for no reason at all.

Harvard better expect an open letter from Bey very soon… Harvard Tells Black Girl Can’t She List Jay-Z As A Role Model Via BusinessInsider : Back in 2005, a Harvard freshman filling out a profile for an on-campus recruiting program listed Jay-Z as her business role-model. Chanequa Campbell was promptly called into the Office of Career Services and told to name someone else. “It’s not appropriate. I don’t think people will respond well to this,” the career counselor told her. Campbell, who grew up seven blocks from Jay-Z in Brooklyn and idolized the drug-dealer turned rapper turned entrepreneur, refused to name someone else. She argued with the career counselor awhile longer, finally offering as a small concession to use her role model’s given name, Sean Carter. “I know his resume,” Campbell told me. “He made most of his major respect—Wall Street respect—since ’04.” Seven years later Campbell, who ended up getting kicked out of Harvard, still gets upset telling how Harvard didn’t respect the businessman from her community. “Most of Jay-Z’s songs, if you understand his vernacular, he’s telling you how to be cool, how to be good at life,” Campbell says. “He’s promoting things of content, things to aspire to. He mentions Warhol, he mentions Basquiat. He mentions people you’ve never heard of. He brings this light to our normal conversation.” Hov hangs out with Barack Obama and parties with Warren Buffett. He trails only Sean “Diddy” Combs on the Forbes’ list of Future Hip-Hop Billionaires. If either makes the cut, he will join the short list of currently only five black billionaires in the world. Did Harvard get it wrong? Can rappers be role models too?
Oprah’s on the cover of Forbes standing in between billionaires Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. The media mogul is ranked #139 amongst the “Forbes 400″ and is on other lists including #11 Power Women, #2 Celebrity 100, #442 Forbes Billionaires (although she’s #148 in United States). According to Forbes Magazine: Warren Buffett, Oprah Winfrey, Bill and Melinda Gates–it was a gathering of giants. Forbes simply had to take a picture. On June 26 we convened the first-ever Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy, a gathering of 161 billionaires and near-billionaires intent on solving the world’s most intractable problems. During a break in the action, twelve of the nation’s leading philanthropists sat for a group portrait by photographer Michael Prince in the Trustees Room at the New York Public Library. The net worth in the room: $126 billion. The historic photo folds out as the cover of the 30th annual Forbes 400 issue, the definitive ranking of America’s wealthiest people. Near the end of the day, we took a dozen of the greatest living philanthropists in the world, put them in one room, and took an unprecedented photograph. There was no digital wizardry, or Photoshop sleight of hand — as the accompanying video underscores, they were all in one place at one time, and even the most jaded among them couldn’t help but look around the Trustees Room at the New York Public Library and go, “wow.” This may not end world hunger but we’re proud of Oprah’s efforts to give back. Good to see her recognized as a philanthropist on Forbes’ 400 list! Wonder why Mitt wasn’t included in this group?? Images via Forbes Magazine
