It’s safe to say Beyonce’s risk has paid off. And then some. The artist released a self-titled album exclusively on iTunes Friday morning, coming out with 14 fresh tracks despite nary a word of promotion. So, how is the collection doing? Beyonce – “Drunk in Love” (Music Video) At last check, “BEYONCE” has moved 828,772 copies, easily becoming the fastest-selling album in iTunes history and putting the singer on pace for the highest tally for a female solo artist since Taylor Swift sold 1.2 million copies of “Red” in November 2012. It is also number-one in 104 countries and has already topped Beyonce’s personal best: 2006’s “B’day” sold 541,000 copies in its first week Beyonce had some help with the album, of course. The self-titled, self-described “visual” CD is comprised of 14 fresh tracks and 17 videos (one of which features daughter Blue Ivy) and it managed to actually crash iTunes temporarily yesterday due to the mad rush of fans to download. Beyonce Album Shocks Music World According to Billboard sources, meanwhile, it also sold over 80,000 copies in just three hours after the closing sales window ended Friday at midnight PST. That’s just nutty. Beyonce’s fifth studio album will likely compete with Garth Brooks’ ninth studio album for the top spot next week, with Billboard adding that many members of Sony Records itself were kept in the dark about the release of “BEYONCE.” That’s how top secret this endeavor was. The album includes collaborations with Jay Z, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Drake, Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake. “I see music as more than just what I hear,” Bey said in a Facebook video. “When I’m connected to something, I immediately see a visual or a series of images that are tied to a feeling or an emotion, a memory from my childhood, thoughts about life, my dreams or my fantasies and they’re all connected to the music. And I think that’s one of the reasons why I wanted to do a visual album.”

News on Thursday. “While it saddens me to have to address these ridiculous lies—especially when the truth was never in doubt—this story must be put to rest.” Hopefully, this guy will accept the results and keep it moving…..he doesn’t want it with the Kardashian clan.
